We had a great business lunch with peers. The food was delish, healthy and unique. The service was top notch!

Despite popular claims that racism and discrimination are no longer salient issues in contemporary society, my husband and I who, both of Asian origin and descent, continue to experience disparate treatment in everyday public interactions. A recent experience of this was at 'Our Mom Eugenia'.

I had gone here last year with a few of my girlfriends, just as restaurants were opening up indoor dining. We were a bunch of Indian girls, and at that time we experienced racism by the owner/manager of the restaurant. He was inattentive, did not even approach our table once, whereas went to every other table in the restaurant which had white diners seated and did not serve us when we requested wine. I wrote about my experience at that time, and the owner/manager messaged me the very next day asking me to take back my review and requested me to visit again to experience great service, assuring me that that was never his intention.

Based on his assurances and giving him the benefit of doubt that he truly did not mean that, my husband and I went there again last evening. Though the food was fabulous, as always the owner once again did not once approach our table. There were 3 other tables occupied in the restaurant besides ours, he went to every other table except ours. Once again, since those tables had white diners seated.

The server assigned to us was great and attentive, but not once did the owner/manager come to our table during the entire course of the evening. It was a repeat of the experience I mentioned above, a few months back. Even my husband felt the same and we decided to never ever come back here again.

I feel bad writing this review about a small restaurant which has great food, but feel that this needs to be brought to attention. Restaurant owners/managers need to treat all customers equally, regardless of race and not just white customers.

We've been there three times in the past year or so, and every visit has been memorable. Food and service are excellent. Stuffed grape leaves and any lamb dish are great.

Authentic this is a hidden gem! The roasted beet salad, grilled octopus, and lamb burgers are my favorites. So many delicious dishes, so little time. The chefs clearly know what they are doing. Fries are crisp on outside and tender inside. Stop looking at the menu and just GO and enjoy some amazing food! Your belly will thank you later.

The food is amazing and everyone there is welcoming and helpful. Definitely a restaurant I frequent often and would highly recommend.

We love to return to this place-for not just the excellent food(which we make sure to get a take out for the week) but also the expertise and the warmth of the host!

We went to Our Mom Eugenia's to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The food was amazing, as always. We shared numerous tapas and everything was excellent, from the fried zucchini slices to the chicken skewers. We always get chicken skewers and vegetables, plus a soup for my daughter to take home for a later meal. Everything is delicious! Thanasis always serves us and he does an amazing job - he is the best!

Great meal! Had the lamb and bronzino as our mains. GET THE FRIED CHEESE.

I am so thankful that Our Mom Eugenia is surviving COVID. It is our favorite restaurant in the area, and we are so lucky to have this family establish their restaurant in our home town.

We have been doing mostly takeout over the past 6 months, as everyone else has. Their takeout is fantastic, and anytime we have a big or fun dinner with family or friends, Our Mom Eugenia is our go-to for takeout

We decided to go to the restaurant on a Tuesday night because we knew there would not be a ton of people to minimize exposure. The takeout food is good, the in-restaurant food is incredible. We miss it so much, and look forward to the end of this pandemic.

Thanks so much to the family at Our Mom Eugenia - you have made our dining experience in Northern Virginia so much better, and we thank you for all of your efforts to get through the pandemic safely!

The lamb is always fabulous and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. We have been there several times and it's been great every time.

Staff was masked and tables somewhat separated, so we were quite comfortable dining in.

OME is our go-to Greek restaurant and we always look forward going there. Whenever you're there, you're transported to Greece. The food is fantastic and the staff make you feel as though you're part of their family. My husband is from Greece and the food reminds him of home. We love the OME staff and family!

Had another great meal at Our Mom Eugenia. The food, service and price point were really impressive. We shared the tzardiki spread and beet salad, followed by the mixed grill and steak skewers. All were very tasty. For desert we shared the donuts with honey. Our server was very helpful with suggestions and attentive to our every need. We strongly recommend Our Mom Eugenia for a dinner out.

This is one of our favorite places. The food is fresh and they always have excellent specials. The servers are always very informative and help guide us through the menu and wine list. We have never had anything here that we did not like.

The food was delicious. The menu had lots of variety and everything was fresh. Our server Nicole was great! She was kind, upbeat and knowledgeable. This was the best service we have experienced in a long time even when compared to very expensive restaurants. We look forward to returning soon. Thank you.

This is the kind of restaurant that you don’t want to tell a bunch of people about because then you won’t ever be able to get a table! As a Greek American family I can tell you this is one of the best places we have eaten Outside of Greece! The food is exceptional the staff is exceptional, the chef is exceptional. Family owned and operated, authentic.

Absolutely love this cozy, welcoming and delicious restaurant! We eat there at least once a week now and it’s always a challenge to decide what to eat because everything is wonderful. Don’t miss the branzino and don’t skip dessert! The most distinguishing feature of this neighborhood treasure is the warm and impeccable service

The wine and food were wonderful. It has been a while since we had good Greek, and this restaurant is now on our favorites list. The octopus was simply outstanding, and the fish and lamb entrees were excellent. Looking forward to coming back to try more spreads and appetizers.
