OXO Tower Brasserie
With sweeping views and an incredible garden terrace, OXO Tower Brasserie reflects the buzz of London life. An open kitchen and live jazz music adds an extra dimension to the dining experience. The Brasserie also offers an alternative to traditional afternoon tea, named Not Afternoon Tea, which features themed cocktails and cakes instead of tea and scones.
Guests can enjoy lunch, Not Afternoon Tea or dinner at the times listed below. OXO Tower Brasserie is just an eight minute walk from Southwark and Waterloo stations and a ten minute walk from Blackfriars station. It is located in the heart of London’s cultural district.
Good views of London, good service, iconic building, reasonable value for the quality of food, but quite noisy in restaurant (had to lean in to hear guest on opposite side of table)
Super service great food and a beautiful view
Honestly very disappointed as I thought this was advertised as “The Oxo Tower” and I ended up being seated in “The Brasserie”.... there is a massive difference. The Brasserie is similar in terms of food quality and service to Wagamamas.... not a special experience at all and felt like I was eating at a mass catered restaurant, with it not showing any of the panache I expected. Will not be dining again.
Excellent views from this elevated restaurant; food was very good but choice we felt limited. Excellent service and well priced wine list.
Despite this being a very busy Mother's Day lunch booking, the brasserie service was outstanding. Even with quite a few small children present, everything ran very smoothly. The quality of the set lunch was high too. Very enjoyable.
The service and the food was outstanding, What a great view looking over the river Thames in the City of London
We took our best friends to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary and although we had confirmation, they did not have it on their system, nor my name or telephone number. It was very embarrassing as I was worried that they would turn us away. However they happened to have a table outside so we were given that. We ended up wrapped in blankets. My pasta dish was cold so didn’t eat it, but to be fair they didn’t charge me for it. The food for everyone else was OK but expensive for what it is. Third time I’ve been as I love the idea of it, but sadly, it just doesn’t deliver. None of us would rush back. ☹️
Went for my 50th Birthday. Everything was really good, food, service and the cake we had. Really like coming here.
30th birthday lunch - a perfect occasion, great food and staff...cant fault the OXO!
Overall good but overpriced
Unfortunately upon arrival they claimed no booking for us despite showing them conformation and text confirmation and email! It was embarrassing as it was my friends 60th birthday lunch. There was no apology either for grilling us and not letting us in. Very embarrassing.
First time in the Brasserie. Good food, excellent service. Perhaps slightly pricey, but no worse than a lot of other places. Quite quiet, but a decent ambience. Highly recommended if you are going to the south bank.
Best service and food ever
Very nice ambient and food. Eccellente and family friendly service. Amazing
Unieke locatie. Goede brasseriekeuken. Leuke wijnkaart. Vriendelijke en attente bediening.
Maar wat een drukte en lawaai. Hier moeten ze dringend aan de akoestiek werken.
Girlfriends 25th Birthday
OXO Brasserie was very disappointing. Everything was mediocre and had nothing of the quality and class it used to have a few years back. The only thing that was good was the view.
I am not sure I have ever written a bad review. Usually I just don’t do the survey if I wasn’t thrilled. This, however, warrants a review. Perhaps it was because it was late on a Sunday night (this was a post-Royal Festival Hall dinner), but the quality of my main course — scallops dish — was insultingly bad. Three small (size of a US quarter) scallops, soggy potato wedges and the vegetables unmemorable. The wine was good, but even my friend’s prime rib wasn’t that good. Also, i showed up at 21:30 on the dot, and my friend at 21:35. Since reservations on OpenTable were available up until 22:15, it was made very clear we needed to order and eat very quickly. We didn’t dawdle, i promise, but it was incredibly unwelcoming. Really a very disappointing experience.
Great food, attentive staff, lovely lively ambience, stunning London views.
Excellent food and great service - very enjoyable evening!
The best view in London! Great food and drinks!
Food and service lovely as usual. The table was a little cramped, but we did have a lovely view to look out on
After a long absence a hugely enjoyable return to the OXO Tower Brasserie with my youngest (19 year old) son. Food was excellent. Service unhurried. Given a fabulous window table to admire the city lights over the Christmas period. Particularly interesting were a flavoursome vodka and gin & (LEC) tonics with magical botanicals. My Veal T bone with smoked anchovies really quite awesome. Will be back soon.
Was very busy as near Christmas, staff excellent, service good and food well prepared. Will certainly go back
Lovely restaurant, has a real sense of serenity. its panoramic views across London, made even better with the floor to ceiling glass really means every table has the best seat in the house! You have a wide variety of different foods, and everything we had was perfect. The drinks were superb, and they had a nice selection of mocktails too! Service was very good, as you'd expect from a place like this, i will defiantly be back!
Great view of London above the Thames, especially wonderful in the Brasserie sometimes they have a live band playing, or chanteuse. I like the open kitchen and upbeat feeling of the place, not too noisy and the food is consistently good. Tables are fairly close together but it just makes for a friendlier evening. A nice spot to visit before an evening at the National or Southbank.
Always delicious, great food and service . With a lovely view included.
location davvero meritevole, vista stupenda, musica al livello giusto, ottimo cibo. giusto il rapporto qualità/prezzo/location.
We enjoyed fantastic views, delicious dishes, attentive service and delightful music.
They have changed the menu and I found it too elaborate for the brasserie now. But the overall experience is still very good
Friend’s birthday pre-concert supper. Fantastic care by all the staff including a birthday sweet treat with a candle!
Set menu food very good and house champagne very drinkable and well chilled. Overall a lovely place, great staff and the views are icing!
We arranged this a a family get together for a birthday. Great views (and we had a fantastic table in the corner), good food and exceptional service (this has got better in recent years). All in all a fantastic celebratory place.
Stunning sunset at two different times really impressive! I ordered two different cocktails before Yvonne walked in :). Duck confit warm salad was yummy and juicy. chop porks with mediterranean style is delicious 😋.
Recommend for buzzy atmosphere and beautiful views of London’s skyline and river. The food was delightful.
Weather was great so we got an outside seat with spectacular view over the very busy Thames. Fillet steak - perfectly cooked, very tender. Good value.
As ever a lovely vibe and stunning views. Lovely staff and good main courses. Starters were a little fussy and small. Wine list limited and expensive.
Fabulous for a business meal on a summer day where you'd like outdoor eating enjoying a view.
Fabulous evening with a prime view of the Thames. Service and food were all excellent. We can’t wait to return.
This restaurant won’t disappoint if you’re looking for a unique experience with grand views. Our table was ready when we arrived and our waiter was very prompt with our orders. The food was a bit ‘different’ and pricey but the chicken I ordered was absolutely delicious! We would visit this restaurant again.
