This was probably the fourth time I've been here, but the first since BC (before Covid). The food is just as good as ever, the service excellent even behind the masks, and the atmosphere still lively, but not so much as to prevent conversation. All the snacks we had were delicious, especially the prawn toast. The scallop ceviche was a bit cold so it didn't really taste of much, but the meat dishes were excellent - the spiced chicken, the iberico pork and the short rib all got top marks.
We had such a delicious lunch at Pachamama. Food was innovative and all cooked beautifully (went to go back immediately just to eat more of the aubergine dish!)
everything was delicious! Tried lots of new stuff and loved it all!
Food is wonderful and has stayed this way. Great mix of flavours and even a vegan menu! Good location. Can be a bit noisy but is a fun atmosphere. Good value made even better by the eat out help out discount continuing in Sept!
Great service, we had the tasting menu which was really tasty. Good quality offer with eat out deal
Really good food! Recommend trying the Atacama Chicken , Sea food rice, Salmon Ceviche and Duck rice
The food was amazing, big shout for the prawn toasts, had to get another one. Too good to not to. Portion wise the set menu was well balanced, didn’t leave us still hungry but not even too full to enjoy it till the end.
Both of the cocktails were very good, staff was attentive and nice, not pushy or overly present. Overall our experience was really good. Definitely gonna come back, thank you very much guys.
Amazing service thank you 👌🏽
Unbelievable food. My friend and I got the tasting menu and everything was delicious. Great ambience and great music too.
Food was amazing! Tasting menu was definitely great value. Can't wait to return.
Great food and lovely service thank you very much for a delicious meal
Very very loud environment.
I was surprised at how busy and packed this restaurant was with little ventilation - in an era of COVID-19 I would expect there to be less tables and more space.
Amazing food, we ate completely vegan and I’ve never had a meal like it! Great staff and environment
The plates were very small and they did not come all together
Awesome food, awesome atmosphere, awesome wait-staff!
Great meal. I thoroughly recommend the pork belly chicharrones and the caramelised aubergine. And the Peruvian chocolate with quinoa ice cream was a pleasant surprise
Beautiful food, small plates which is the "tapas" style but the food quality is stunning and very rich so actually very filling! The service was impeccable
Great environment and service. The food is awesome - I would recommend going for the tasting menu which is not expensive for what it offers.
Absolutely loved everything about this place. Book immediately.
Came here with my partner and were really looking forward to it as we'd heard good things. Lamb skewers and the caramelised aubergine were tasty, the latter a little over-seasoned though, and the corn ice cream with cake was the meal's highlight. Also the service was good/staff very attentive. My general comment is that the vast majority of the menu is incredibly overpriced, especially considering the paltry portion sizes. I know Peruvian cuisine has morphed into a kind of tapas style dining experience with small plates, but to justify £15+ per (main) dish, they need to taste sublime and the portion sizes can't be laughably small, and the meal fell short on both these criteria I'm afraid. The low-lights include the ox-tongue lomo saltado which was small/very bland (have had Lomo Saltado elsewhere and it's always been very boldly flavoured, this wasn't; also this should really be a substantial main dish as it is in other Peruvian restaurants, especially at a whopping £18), what was essentially a half-full ramekin of scallop ceviche (tasty, but very undersized) and under-seasoned padron peppers. The thing is this restaurant could be stunning if the prices were even just slightly lower, the more 'main' dishes were slightly bigger, and generally if certain dishes were seasoned properly. At the moment I'd say I'd much rather go to Ceviche in Soho as the portions are roughly double the size, food is very tasty, and prices aren't quite as steep.
Food was delicious. We went there for a late arvo/early dinner meal, there were only a few diners, so can't really say what it's like when it's busy
The food was excellent. We wished there had been some small sides like bread or something to compliment the flavours.
Insanely good food! Foodie hotspot and great both for get-togethers with friends or a date.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere, though definitely not a cheap night out. I blame the addictive pisco sours... ;)
Always great food and good service. Just wish they did a non-alcoholic beer, otherwise perfect night out.
The food was ok but definitely over priced.
The ambient and concept of the place is great, but food wasn't tasty and very small portions, - we ordered 5 dishes between 2 people, at the bill came together for £86 and we left this place hungry. Doesn't feel like good value for money.
Expensive for what it is: food wasn't memorable (ceviche was the smallest I have seen to date), cocktails were hit and miss, wine was decent though. Energetic atmosphere and a good place to meet with friends, but I wouldn't call it good value.
The table for 6 people was very tight.
I really appreciate an approach to Chinese/Peruvian, and I hope that it will get better over time.
Great restaurant! Loved the whole vibe! Will definitely be back soon!
Much more informal and vibrant than anticipated (in a good way!) Service was friendly and efficient. The food was varied and delicious. Would definitely visit again.
Vegan tasting menu was incredible. More than enough food for two and everything was so fresh and delicious.
Good atmosphere good music, nice interior. Interesting Menu. Would recommend.
Nice ambience but fairly expensive for the portions. Pork belly was quite stiff and chewy but the eggplant dish was brilliant.
Amazing food and service!! Highly recommended! Nice ambience and drinks
Amazing food; all small, shareable plates, and super cute venue. Will be back!
Had a fantastic night at Pachamama East on Wednesday as part of eat out to help out. Bit of a delay with our table (we had booked) but Peter was so apologetic and couldnt have made us feel more comfortable. Immediately seated as soon as a table was available and given the best service, complimentary cocktails and made us feel so welcome even though it was such a busy evening for the team! Food was absolutely delicious, especially the ox tongue and the chicharrones. Thank you all for a fantastic evening!
Amazing food and service, definitely recommend everyone to try it out!
Food and staff were both amazing! Music was a bit loud and it was on the pricey side but overall fantastic.
One of the best restaurants in East London! We've been a few times now and every time the food and service is on point! The main host (didn't catch his name) is very friendly, knowledgeable and just gives an extra good vibe to a already great restaurant. Would give 6 stars if we could
