Pacific Standard Prime

Our first indoor dining in a year and it was wonderful. Restaurant decor was classy and stylish. Food was superb. Husband had a delicious steak and I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Sommelier, Peggy, was a lovely addition to the meal. She recommended a Spanish wine which we loved.

Wonderful new addition to South Bay dining. Great food, attentive service, and nice dining room with open air feel.

What a pleasant surprise! Finally a decent steak house in the Hollywood Riviera/South Redondo Beach area. The quality of the food was great and the prices were really reasonable. There was a great wine selection as well.

Food us fantastic. Charging for bread is outrageous when you are charging the prices the restaurant charges fir its food. I realize the LA county rules require doors and windows to be opened, but put on the heat. It was an icebox sitting inside the restaurant.

Outstanding food, and the service is better than most. I dine a lot, and it's great to be waited on by an attentive, educated staff.

We enjoyed our dinner with friends from out of town, however, I resent that they tell me we have only an hour and a half for our table. It was an hour and 25 minutes before we were served our may course so it's not really possible. If you go out for an fairly expensive dinner I don't think they should tell you this, seems rude.

This was our first time to eat at Pacific Standard Prime. We were so happy to finally eat in after the last year of out door dining. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. So glad we chose this restaurant to be our first indoor experience. We’ll definitely be back. (Still talking about those potatoes and my chocolate martini!)

Terrific special filet with alaskan crab meat - so delicious cooked at medium.
Surprisingly great sourdough bread as an app with dipping olive oil and sweet butter.
Amazing mac n cheese with bacon that my son, a mac n cheese connoisseur, is the best he's ever had.
Melt in your mouth cooked to perfect salmon.
So-so creamed spinach with white sauce overpowering the spinach.

Outstanding food & service. Steak, salad and scalloped potatoes perfect. Short ribs wonderful. Staff accommodated our request for short ribs (not on regular dinner menu.) Server outstanding, particularly considering he was new. Sat on the patio since it was a little noisy inside. (Inside dining just opened up.) Unfortunately, traffic on PCH was quite noisy but it moderated later. Covered parking great right next door.

A great new gem in the South Bay. Not your typical dark wooded dimly lit steakhouse. Incredible fully stocked bar, modern beach vibe and the food and service were top notch. Owner Kevin Leach and chef Christine really deliver. The steak (I had the strip and wife filet medallions) was top notch. Didn’t need the special sauce but that was nice too. Sure a little pricey but compare this place to Arthur J and dare I say Mastros. Maybe not the same scene as MB or BH but if you’re looking for an incredible steak dinner, place to entertain clients, bday or just a night out this is it. Will definitely be in the new rotation. And the outdoor patio seating was just fine (55 deg and windy outside and no issues - plenty warm with heaters and wind shields). Can’t wait to sit at the bar.

Note upfront: my ambiance, nice etc is based on outdoor dining due to limitations imposed by COVID restrictions. The food was great, we had NY strip and the special Filet medallions with crab. For the appy had the portobello mushroom with habenero dipping sauce. The meat is organic grass-fed so has a considerably different texture than a traditional prime cut. Flavor was awesome. I even saved so.e for the next day (with extreme difficulty) and the beautiful marbling was very evident and tasted amazing again after a slight heating. The mushroom appy had a great flavor and the sauce provided provided nice kick. We brought our own wine but their selection is very nice. They also have so.e great bourbon on the list....some of which are very difficult to find outside of KY/OH area.

Such a great restaurant! We went in with intentions to have steak for dinner but then saw all the different apps/sides they had and specials so we decided to do it tapas style. Everything was so delicious, we couldn’t decide what was our favorite dish! Check this spot out- it’s worth it!!

Great addition to the South Bay!

Excellent food (steaks and starters), friendly service in an outdoor setting (per LA County requirements). A little noisy with the fast moving traffic only 15 feet away - but that is life with the mandated outdoor dining these days.

Great place to eat. Very accommodating staff. Look forward to returning.

Good start for a neighborhood steakhouse. The owner/sommelier came by several times to make sure we are ok. Our waitress was very sweet.

Fantastic new steakhouse in the South Bay. Had ribeye and salmon. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and the fish was cooked perfectly ... on the verge of being opaque pink, but with a hint of translucence. Also had a sourdough boule, warm and comforting, and mashed potatoes, rich and satisfying. Definitely coming back.

The food and service were absolutely outstanding! Hannah, our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the bartender was friendly and engaging. At one point, I noticed a chip in my glass and the bartender comped both drinks. The food was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. Drinks were appropriately powerful and well-made. The price point is somewhat high and this isn't a place I would go to on a nightly basis, but it is an exquisite restaurant for special occasion dinners!

The food here is excellent! We went for Valentines Day so it was a pre-fixe menu. We both enjoyed the best steaks we have had in ages here! They were perfectly cooked and accompanied with delicious sides that were both flavorful and fresh. Everything was well seasoned but not overdone so you can really enjoy the taste of the ingredients. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

My husband and I went for a Valentine meal at Pacific standard Prime. It was our first time and I have to say that they checked every box. My husband had the special filet medallions topped with dungeoness crab - he said that it was incredible.
I had the 9oz filet. We paired our steaks with spinach and the spaghetti squash carbonara. I have to say we both do low carb Keto diet and it was so refreshing to have so many options that were low carb. Highly recommend!!
For drinks we loved their extensive whiskey menu. The bartender even came to out table to discuss what kind of drinks we like. We told him and off he went returning with a Manhattan for me and a “special” in house spruced up Elijah Craig for my hubby. All round the staff were great, food was excellent. They are making the best of the current covid situation with outdoor dining. We are very local so we will be back.

Price point is way off. First time here. Steak was absolutely perfect. All the sides were tasty and service was awesome. But overall value for the $, one and done. 2 people $250. Much better values around.

Phenomenal experience. Were treated like kings from the minute we walked into the restaurant. Food and service was on point. Definitely going back !

1st dinner out since COVID-19. We wanted to treat ourselves to a well deserved dinner and knew Pacific Standard would be perfect. We have been following the Chef since her "Christine's" days and knew the food and service would be top notch.
