Pacifico - New Haven, CT
Solid, but not special
It was a nice night out. We were seated fairly promptly although staff seemed overwhelmed.
The food was good. Drinks were good as well.
Our server was a little distracted through dinner and kept saying they were busy. We ran out of drinks a few times including water.
We love Pacifico! It's a great place to spend an evening with friends and family. Their service is spectacular, always attentive, smiling and fast. Pacifico offers the best Latin Cuisine in New Haven, in my opinion.
Oh and they have a great DJ during the weekends.
Parent weekend QU. Meals were excellent. Service was food. Very crowded busy weekend. Highly recommend and will return
Pacifico is a small restaurant. The appetizers were very good. The lunch plates were good. The guacamole, pork belly and yuca fríes were delicious. I just thought with a Latin flair that the main plates would be more tasty. (I’m Latina so I like my food tasty). I had the chaulafan and it was fine when I added the soy sauce. Two others in my group had the Cubano sandwich and they said it was delicious. It was lunch time so we didn’t try anything from their full dinner menu. I would return because the prices were good.
Amazing food! Incredibly flavorful and different - different regional latin cuisine. Delicious!
Food was good, but portions were small and somewhat pricey for the area. The sangria was fabulous as was our server! We were seated upstairs and it was a lot darker and quieter. We had requested the table for a birthday, and no mention of the birthday was ever seen!
I liked Pacifico very much. The food we ordered was quite good and the service was excellent.
Service was excellent. Food was great. We had a lovely window seat.
Excellent service, phenomenal food and drinks. The party next to us was unfortunately very loud and inconsiderate of everyone else nearby, but that was of no fault to the restaurant.
Great service! The paella and the whole crispy fish were outstanding!!
Really outstanding food and service. Would highly recommend this place in New Haven.
Food seemed more inventive than taste
Incredible food! Start to finish the food was excellent, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The salmon entree was the best salmon I have ever had. I wish we were local so we could eat here all the time.
Excellent food, terrific cocktails and great staff. Always consistent - have been coming here for a few years now. If you are not too hungry, order a few starters. The entrees can be heavy, but are delicious.
Great Latin restaurant with full bar service. We ordered their popular small plates. Every dish we ordered was excellent. Service was also top notch. Would definitely come back next time I'm in New Haven.
Excellent dining experience here. Food is delicious & innovative and service was excellent. All servers were extremely knowledgeable about the wines, recommendations were spot on, priced fairly and paired with our dishes very well. Servers were also sensitive to & helpful with dietary restriction requests. We will definitely return.
We had a 7pm reservation. We were seated in a great corner table with a nice view of al the passing activity on the street. Food was excellent and came out very quickly.
Outstanding! The food was delicious and service was excellent. Every course was presented beautifully. One of the best meals I have ever had.
I brought my girlfriend to Pacifico for her birthday. Staff was polite and welcoming. We sat outside and noticed a lot of people visiting the restaurant, even on a week night. Food was excellent. The drinks were amazing. We had mojitos and, to put it simply, they tasted like vacation. They even surprised us with a desert treat for her. The staff was so on point that when my girlfriend forgot her leftovers from dinner, when we called over 20 minutes later they remembered us and met us curbside with her bag! All around great experience and I have since referred many friends to Pacifico.
Great dining experience, great food and service with reasonable price. Overall, I had a great experience in pacifico. The restaurant even provide a nice little surprise since we’re celebrating my girlfriends birthday. A great restaurant to visit in New Haven. Highly recommended.
Celebrated an anniversary with dinner at pacificoa. Since we marked the occasion in our reservation, they added little personalized touches to make for a super romantic evening!
Great wine selection and incredibly professional wait staff. Adored the atomosphere and of course the food! We shared two starters and each got an entree, which was a perfect amount of food. We'll definitely go back!
Amazing! Delicious food and very kind service. You MUST order at least the Shrimp ravioli and the Duck quesadilla. They were really really good.
One of the most amazing dining experiences my husband and I have enjoyed. Great service, outstanding cocktails, amazing food, and the creativity was beyond compare.
Came on Saturday before the show for dinner. The cocktails were amazing. Some of the dishes were just out of this world, the beet salad, shrimp ceviche, pork belly which was so tender and flavorful The octopus was delicious as was the chicken. Desserts were very good. Service was attentive. The wait was a little long, but worth it!
Great Latin food, craft cocktails and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. really nothing but enjoyable experiences here before and after the theater i'll be back.
Extremely long wait for our fix it was excellent once it arrived, but it took over an hour. The waiter made very little effort to check on us during the wait or explain
for the price you pay, you should get a little bit more for your money, had to wait over an hour anda half for the main meal.
Everything about our evening was perfect...we were fortunate it was a lovely evening and we ate outside. If we were inside it would have been problematic because of the noise level. the food and service were great but the noise is too much.
Food was not great for the value.
We went on opening night of the Shubert and enjoyed a very good happy hour menu. The portions were very adequate and the drink values also excellent.
Most unfortunately, they had one bartender on duty which was a MAJOR mistake. While the wait
servers did their best, they were severely limited by the very long wait for a drink. We were told they normally have three bartenders, so one can only chalk it up to an off night.
We loved the food! They have a Happy Hour but it only applies to those at the Bar, not the restaurant. I find that very strange.
After coming here several times I have to say it's becoming a favorite spot of mine! The staff is friendly, and their food is great! All of their small plates and entrees are incredibly flavorful. Prices are moderate ($20-30) for entrees, but I haven't been disappointed a single time coming here. Will be visiting again soon.
One of our New Haven favorites. Glad that they introduced tapas to the menu
I have been to Pacifico several times and the food as well as the service is AMAZING.
The dishes are very tasty, great size and beautiful presentation. It's a fusion of good food and excellent customer service. The best complement the tres leches rice pudding!
A group of friends and I tried their exquisite tapas menu and it was truly an experience. So many different flavors and combinations I wouldn’t have even imagined. They treated us like royalty and the staff was extremely friendly.
We are Regulars- 4 or 5 visits per year- and we are never disappointed.
Food, service and atmosphere was very good as always.
I travel a lot for work all over the world. This place ranks in my top 5 meals of the last 6 years. I had the amazing Seafood paella and excellent service. Next time, I hope to try the sea bass.
My experience was outstanding there. The lady that were serving us was super polite and professional. Wine and food was incredible, so was the atmosphere in this place. I highly recommend it for a romantic date or a warm quiet get-together with friends.
