Our ever changing menu combines traditional tapas with personal interpretations from Michelin starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, whilst staying true to the vibrant and comforting flavours of his heritage.
No tapas bar is worth its salt without a carefully crafted sherry list - just ask Paco! So, we've handpicked ours, and offer them by the glass, bottle or shaken into the finest cocktails.
Thanks to all our amazing suppliers & team we are realising another Sanchez Brothers dream - A modern tapas bar bringing a taste of Andalusia to Bristol. Whether you're coming para picar, for a glass of sherry or a tapas feast we can't wait to see you!
Absolutely delicious food. Every morsel served to us was top quality and extremely tasty. We were advised that the Cornish fish was their speciality, we ordered the recommendation - oh boy did we enjoy it, it was exquisite! The service was friendly and engaging, passionately explained the origins of all the ingredients.
Would recommend this gem of Spanish cuisine highly!
3rd time I’ve been and it’s definitely gone down hill
Amazing place in Bristol. One of four Michelin star tapas restaurants. Great and friendly staff. The food is absolute the best. Feels like to be in Spain.
Our second visit in a short space of time and we will be regulars to this amazing restaurant. Dress in light clothes, or layers as it can be quite warm. Food is fantastic!
Excellent as always ! Love the monkfish with lentils. I missed the old tortilla and tomato salad tho. I prefer the runny one and love grilled tomato more. Ribs were a bit fatty but still very very tender !
Love the new front of house and great honour to be served by Peter
Lovely Spanish tapas done to perfection, great selection of wine and lovely staff as well! Highly recommended!
Always a joy eating here; reliably good food and excellent service. Not cheap though I'm happy to pay for good quality ingredients.
Outstanding food, friendly and helpful service and beautiful setting
Absolutely fantastic food and great hospitality. I recommend this restaurant who wants to enjoy the joy of sharing real tapas with creativity!
Our waitress was very knowledgable on not only our food but helped us pair Sherry with our courses. We had an incredible evening and would definitely go back. The only feedback I would change was the music selection was a bit odd...rock ballads and we ordered the rack of lamb which was disappointing for a dish that cost £12, we received 1 tiny lolly pop of lamb which was surprising given that the rest of the meal felt very good value for money.
Excellent experience and food. Worth the recommendation and the good reviews. Would certainly head back.
Paco Tapas is a small lively place which serves excellent food. I would reccomend to anyone, if there is 2 of you going try and get the chef’s table - such an experience.
Amazing food and atmosphere. A massive recommendation for beautiful food, and a lovely evening.
Absolutely brilliant and went to great effort to accommodate one of us being vegetarian. Had a really great evening. Thanks you.
Had a lovely meal here. Good fabulous and great buzzy ambience
Incredible experience, brilliant food. Tip: ask for the counter seat overlooking the kitchen. It's a spectacle.
I’ve never been sure about tapas before but I’m now a zealous convert. This was exceptional dining in a relaxed, buzzy and chic environment, outstanding.
Beautiful inside and out. Amazing service. Fantastic food. Bit pricey but it’s great for a treat.
Without doubt one of the best meals I have had in Bristol!!!!
Very poor value for money.
Small portions of average tasting tapas. The one strip of leek was burnt and inedible.
£40 for bog standard wine.
Terrible. Totally over rated
We had a lovely evening. Great food, lovely atmosphere and relaxed but excellent service. Tables a little cramped and sound level a little high for us .
We’ll certainly come again though.
Amazing evening with an incredible team and food beyond belief.. Quite simply, the best Spanish Tapas bar anywhere!!
Sat at the bar, great chats with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was amazing as always, a lovely treat!
Sensational food, fantastic friendly staff. Great atmosphere
Food is always amazing here. Great staff and great location! Cant wait to go back.
We had an excellent Saturday lunch, with attentive, helpful service and well balanced chef's menu.
Top quality tapas, excellent service and an authentic feel.
Difficult to imagine how anything at Paco Tapas could be improved! New incredible thinhs to try is about it!
Delicious food, great service, knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere.
Ok evening . Sat on Uncomfortable stools Which hurt my back. Our table wasn't ready on arrival.
The food was full of flavour. Some dishes were way too salty . Puddings very creative flavours. Servers were super attentive. Overall a good meal out.
Everything was perfect. Was a little loud and warm as we were sat at the counter but it was awesome to see all the food being cooked. Being served by Mr Paco Tapas himself was a bonus too!
Always great, and they do a nice job adding new seasonal dishes combined with those that keep you coming back.
Loved the taster menu, and seeing the food prepared in front of us was amazing. The service was second to none, staff were attentive and knowledgeable.
We had such a lovely night here. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed. The ambience was buzzy and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.
Benchmark tapas and good service. However, noise levels tumultuous and, if sat by the grill, heat levels volcanic. Good for a big group but not for a quiet meal for two!
Fantastic - I cannot wait to go back. The best thing was that they gauged when to bring further dishes rather than bringing all at same time. And the food was delicious.
Stunning, authentic tapas in a small bar with high tables and bar stools. Service was fantastic, staff are knowledgable and happy to guide you through the dishes. Atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. We chose 6 dishes and 1 dessert. Fabulous ingredients, great flavours & textures. We loved the jamon croquettes and the Gambas. The rack of lamb however was disappointing for the price. It wasn’t a rack - 2 tiny pieces of lamb gone in 2 mouthfuls. Delicious and cooked to perfection so we were happy to let them off. With starting prices at £30+ For a bottle of wine we declined. We were glad we did because the pace at which the food is delivered and your dining experience is over you’d hardly have made a dent on your bottle. Not quite the birthday dining experience we wanted - sat on a table joining a group of 4, and in & out within the hour. However, we are glad we’ve been and I’d recommend it - at least once.
Excellent service and food as usual. We always enjoy coming here for a special occasion.
Paco Tapas was everything I wanted it to be. Amazing food, great atmosphere and tentative staff members. The chef was amazing, taking time to explain each dish to us. Will definitely be visiting again!
