Our ever changing menu combines traditional tapas with personal interpretations from Michelin starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, whilst staying true to the vibrant and comforting flavours of his heritage.
No tapas bar is worth its salt without a carefully crafted sherry list - just ask Paco! So, we've handpicked ours, and offer them by the glass, bottle or shaken into the finest cocktails.
Thanks to all our amazing suppliers & team we are realising another Sanchez Brothers dream - A modern tapas bar bringing a taste of Andalusia to Bristol. Whether you're coming para picar, for a glass of sherry or a tapas feast we can't wait to see you!
Fri - Sat 12:00pm - 3:00pm and 5:00pm - late
Great food and fantastic staff who guided us through the tapas experience. Prices were a little steep, but that didn’t detract from the occasion.
Don't miss out on the two Tapas style desserts! I only wish I had ordered a dessert wine to go with the chocolate one.
Overall, this was a complete foodie treat, with small dishes served so that you can share. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious. All staff were friendly and very helpful.
Absolutely loved LOVED the food here!
The service is outstanding.......such friendly and knowledgeable staff! Cocktails were fab too!
Totally recommend a visit here!
Incredible food and environment, but to be honest we didn't expect anything less. It's no surprise that we were blown away and it was all too predictable.
The place speaks for itself, doesn’t fail on any aspect as far as I’m concerned. This is our second visit and I’m sure it won’t be our last!
Great experience, food and wine were delicious and waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable. We're looking forward to coming back!
Fantastic food. Simple ingredients, brilliantly done. Made me re think what a tortilla should taste like! Fun, great service and advice. Friendly and casual maintaining tapas sharing vibe but with fine dining thrown in. Best hake and lamb I've tasted. Fennel pollen was new and smart! We did the chefs menu...Great value for money. Highly recommend.
Tapas on another level. Made our first anniversary very special.
Paco Taps very much deserves is Michelin star. The food is widely varied and excellent throughout. Servers are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Always worth a visit.
We came here on the recommendation of a colleague who lives in the city. From the moment we sat down the staff were attentive (without being annoying) friendly and knowledgeable. Not just about the menu either, recommending several places to continue our night out.
We particularly recommend the jamon croquets! Could eat them forever!
Had a great night with family. The second time we have eaten there. We all had the tasting menu again which was great and the wine was very drinkable.
Took my husband here for his birthday and we had a wonderful night! He didn’t stop eating for 2 hours - every dish that came out was divine. Very good for meat eaters!
The service and knowledge of the staff was impeccable - they made our night! Could not speak more highly of this place - thank you for a memorable evening Paco Tapas!
The food was tasty especially from the coals and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The prawn at £22 was ridiculously overpriced. Stick to the cheaper prawn dish which was really sumptuous. Wine was quite pricey too but delicious.
Amazing food, seems really to eat in Spain! Pity about the price, some dishes are just a little too much for the quantity. But quality superb!
We came here to celebrate our sons A level results . We decided to opt for the tasting menu and it was fantastic. The waiters were attentive but not overly and the wine recommended was exceptional ! We love tapas and couldn’t fault any of the dishes that were served .
High end tapas, brilliantly cooked. No frills. Modestly expensive for what you get, but the quality of the ingredients and the cooking compensates for this in part. Great setting on a beautiful Bristol evening.
We had the tasting menu and every single mouthful was a delight. The food exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to go back again.
Fantastic food, brillaint service, excellent wine. highly recommended
Exceptional meal and ambience at Paco Tapas. The food was incredible and the knowledge of the waiters really helped in delivering an enjoyable experience- definitely ask for advice and let yourself be guided into sherry pairings for the food (be prepared to have a few glasses, at least). We will be back as soon as we can.
Excellent meal and ambience. Beautiful setting. It was a surprise for my wife, very much enjoyed by both of us.
Amazing, authentic tapas Michelin style right in the heart of Bristol. Great atmosphere. Sit at the bar!
Simply loved it! Great tapas, lovely wine, really helpful and interesting staff
Amazing restaurant with a great atmosphere and brilliant food. Will definitely return
This is the 3rd time I have been to Paco Taps and I have yet to be disappointed. The service is outstanding, very attentive and friendly without being overpowering. The food is exceptional. There was one dish that we didn't eat because it was far too salty, but could be to others taste. Overall I would highly recommend as a place to go for lunch or an evening meal.
One thing to think before you go is that all seating is on tall bar stool type chair at high tables, so if you suffer with back problems it might create some difficulty/discomfort.
Booked a table for Friday evening, as we were in Bristol for the weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had the Chef’s Menu at £50 per head, which may sound expensive but you get lots of tapas course. Our lovely waiter, Alex, couldn’t have been more helpful or attentive and, when asked, suggested a fantastic dessert wine to go with the Crema Catalana. Altogether a wonderful evening and we would highly recommend it. We’d definitely go back.
Food was great, drinks were delicious and the service was amazing - brilliant all around!
I made a reservation well in advance for a very special occasion. I really wanted a table, it was important for what I had to announce. I said I did not want to be at the bar. Check in, I'm told it was not booked. What a desappointment ! I ended up at the bar. I do not understand that a star does not take into account the reservations of its customers.
Food is good as ever but we were sat at the bar and it was too squashed and hot which was a shame. The food came so fast there was no time to relax in between
Consistently one of the very best restaurants in Bristol. A wonderful mixture of traditional Tapas but elevated with Michelin star cooking techniques using only the very best ingredients and with the view of the non-chavy marina you could easily be fooled you are on the med
We went to Paco tapas on my birthday and it was the perfect place to celebrate. The location is beautiful, right on the harbour, the service was attentive without being obsequious and the food was incredible! We loved it!
Amazing food, service and ambiance!
We had a great evening at Paco Tapas the food and service were outstanding and it is in a fabulous location by the harbour. Stand out dish was the pork ribs but everything tasted great and was of a high standard. James the manager looked after the 3 of us so well. We would definitely go back and recommend it to others.
By far some of the tastiest food I’ve ever eaten!
This is a fantastic restaurant, the service and atmosphere is exceptional, only to be beaten by the outstanding food they serve. My advice... order one of everything!!!
Top dish - Duroc ribs... mmmm.... ribs... 🤤🤤🤤
Easily some of the best cooking I’ve ever tasted, literally melt in you mouth like butter!
The chef here really knows what he’s doing. 10/10
We were celebrating my son's graduation with some friends and wanted a very special meal out.
We were not disappointed! In fact, it was, without question, the very best tapas any of us had ever had.
We had the chef's menu, which was a perfect balance of delicious flavours. Just the right amount and each dish different from the last. My boy is still talking about the hake.....!!
The drinks were also unusual and amazing - perfectly refreshing for the heat of the summer.
The staff were so lovely - attentive, friendly and efficient.
We sat outside in the evening sun and in short, had the best time. THANK YOU!
The tasting menu was delicious. Special mention goes to the lamb rump, melt in the mouth and smoky and the octopus with paprika. The real honeycomb with cheese was a delightful surprise (gluten free option). We will be back!
This was the second time we have been and both times have been absolutely amazing. We sat outside overlooking the water and it was the perfect relaxing lunch watching the world go by with delicious food and wine
Great tasty tapas that’s also very expensive. Bravas, Bellita, Bell’s are just as fun but cheaper. You pay for well sourced ingredients.
I managed to book a table last minute, James the manager was fantastic and very accommodating, top man! It was a special occasion as I’d just proposed, James made the evening go very smoothly indeed. Fantastic service from the waitress and the food was incredible, thanks for a memorable evening 👌
Not our 1st trip, but took two Friends this time, sat outside, exceptional evening with excellent food and Sherry. New sherry cocktail was very welcome on arrival. Great place bravo.
Paco Tapas is amazing!!! The food is delicious, served with enthusiasm and knowledge. The staff are wonderful and you can sit outside in the summer and enjoy the little harbor view. My boyfriend and I have visited three times and I can't recommend it enough! :)
