Our ever changing menu combines traditional tapas with personal interpretations from Michelin starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, whilst staying true to the vibrant and comforting flavours of his heritage.
No tapas bar is worth its salt without a carefully crafted sherry list - just ask Paco! So, we've handpicked ours, and offer them by the glass, bottle or shaken into the finest cocktails.
Thanks to all our amazing suppliers & team we are realising another Sanchez Brothers dream - A modern tapas bar bringing a taste of Andalusia to Bristol. Whether you're coming para picar, for a glass of sherry or a tapas feast we can't wait to see you!

Fantastic food and wine, the Tomatoe salad and the fillet steak dishes are incredibly tasty, and the bread and oil are the best I've tasted. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
Straightforward review. You won’t find better Tapas outside of Spain. Exceptional and the whole place is perfectly executed
Nothing wrong with the food but just far too loud in the restaurant, they would try to explain what you were getting and just could not hear the servers.
Really classy take on tapas, with the ribs and tortilla our standout dishes, although we ate all of them with relish.
Our only quibble was that there was an odd choice of music being played - more suitable for a bar/club than restaurant.
We will be going back though
As a group we all agreed this was probably some of the best tapas we have had! The service was excellent & the restaurant itself was excellent. Highly recommended.
Superb food and service, great experience each time we’ve been
Great food, great wine list, the lovely staff are really helpful and the open kitchen creates an amazing ambiance
It's hard to see how Paco Tapas has a Michelin star. The food is good, but incredibly overpriced for what it actually is. The biggest let down was the ensalada de tomate, £12 for what seems like half a tomato cut thinly, covered in a grated tomato and olive oil I sent a picture of it to a friend who'd been before and recommended it and his response was that it didn't look anything like what he had had. The ambience of the place was also spoiled by a playlist that appeared to contain only thumping bass lines and in the high ceiling made conversation a little difficult. Finally, If you're going to emulate the Spanish way of serving tapas then you have to nail the service, however the service was slow and they forgot one of the items we ordered. From what I've seen on trip advisor a fair few people have had a recent similar experience. I'm all for paying good money for serious quality, but if you had a michelín star and charge the premium they do, I think you need to do better.
Food was sensational- best we’ve eaten in a long time.
We’d definitely come back again.
It was very delicious. We will definitely go back.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Wholly recommend.
The food was absolutely delicious.
The staff was really friendly and helpful.
Amazing food! Staff is very friendly and help you have an overall great experience! Definitely worth trying!
We visited twice within a week, both for birthdays and we love Paco. Food is varied and impeccably presented; tasty too. We will be back.
The food was gorgeous and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing food, knowledgeable staff, great setting. 100% recommend the tortilla, easily the best I have had!
One of my favourites Spanish restaurants in Bristol, great food; croquetas de jamón, hispi cabbage w garlic, tortilla española, ensalada de tomate, everything was absolutely delicious, fantastic service!!
Fantastic tapas , all amazing quality although portions smallish, they tasted so good we didn’t mind .Wine is expensive.
Would highly recommend to any one who wants a night of good food and atmosphere.
Sensational food and great service at great value. We were really impressed and will definitely be visiting again soon.
Superb evening, fantastc food and a great laid back atmosphere. Loved it! We'll be back soon.
The complete experience was good.
The bread and oil was very salty.
The Lamb didn't taste of lamb, it was so mild the flavour was dominated by the outer searing. The same applied to the tuna.
The steak was good, tender and tasty for a fillet.
The ribs were amazing as was the sausage
Probably wont visit again
WOW absolutely incredible. You can really tell Everything is cooked great care and attention.
Stand out dishes for me Stuffed Quail, Whole red Mullet. Staff and service incredible too. Really enjoyed the night there. Thanks
Had really high expectations that were not met at all. Food was good but nothing special, the octopus was particularly disappointing. Service was ok but for 1 Michelin star I would have expected more. It’s not crazy expensive but for what we paid I would have expected much more.
The food was amazing. We had to wait outside for 10 minutes after our booked time before our table was ready. The ambience was good. The high stools and table lent an authentic tapas experience but those wooden stools were not the most comfortable in the derrière!
Amazing food. Very knowledgeable staff . Lovely venue and setting.
A wonderful night out at Paco Tapas. All the staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Food, wine and sherry (!!) all excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Absolutely loved it! The food was incredible and perfect for a special occasion in a casual and modern setting. Music a tiny bit too loud, but that is a matter of taste.
1st time here and really enjoyed the whole experience. Would certainly recommend.
All the food was deliciously flavoursome and we enjoyed a number of different sherry's from their extensive list. Very relaxed atmosphere with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Exceptional food, highly recommended and overall good value for money
seared tuna is recommended! it's really nice and we would like to try the sample menu next time.
Food and service wise, genuinely one of if not the best meals I’ve ever had. Of course it was pricy, but it was worth it. The only thing- I just wish the music had been turned down a bit
The food was absolutely incredible - could not fault any of it. It is on the expensive side, but you pay for what you get. Service very attentive, but not in your face, all staff knowledgeable about the food and happy to talk through any of the menu. All of my party thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Paco Tapas and have not stopped talking about it. We will definitely be back.
amazing food and lovely setting. Staff were really helpful
Amazing food and service, Tortilla is out of this world and so are the Jamón croquetas. Seared tuna melted in the mouth and the Fillet steak was insane. Washed down with a bottle of Tio Pepe en rama made the perfect meal. Two huge thumbs up, can't wait to return.
Fabulous, staff are lovely and knowledgable, food amazing. Best tapas in bristol
Great food, brilliant atmosphere.
Will definitely be back
we were new to paco tapas and staff were excellent however i came away with a headache it was so loud my partner and I gave up talking to each other after a while. we have dined at many Michelin star restaurants and felt this one was missing a few things. the prices were very expensive for the small dishes we received. we understood food comes out at different times but we didn't have 2 dishes at the same once and felt like you were constantly waiting for a dish to accompany the one you had been given. we had recently been to another tapas in bristol (Gambas) and thought for value and atmosphere this rated much higher. such a shame as had been looking forward to the meal for months. sadly will not be returning
Had such a nice evening - I will be definitely returning shortly
