Our ever changing menu combines traditional tapas with personal interpretations from Michelin starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, whilst staying true to the vibrant and comforting flavours of his heritage.
No tapas bar is worth its salt without a carefully crafted sherry list - just ask Paco! So, we've handpicked ours, and offer them by the glass, bottle or shaken into the finest cocktails.
Thanks to all our amazing suppliers & team we are realising another Sanchez Brothers dream - A modern tapas bar bringing a taste of Andalusia to Bristol. Whether you're coming para picar, for a glass of sherry or a tapas feast we can't wait to see you!
Excellent meal and staff
We arrived an hour early and asked if possible we could move our time no problem at all , we were also 10 mins before opening time but let us stay for a pre dinner drink .
Outstanding food. Fabulous service. Location excellent. Ambience perfect. Would one hundred percent revisit and recommend.
Very nice evening, for my girlfriend birthday :)
I recommend without hesitation 👍
Will definitely be coming back! Such incredible food, I couldn’t fault one dish. Me and my friend had the chefs menu and it’s such good value I would recommend ordering that. Cant wait to return
Sat at the chefs table and it was well worth it! Reasonably priced and the chefs good fun!
Eye-wateringly expensive but worth every penny. Remember, it’s a tapas bar not a restaurant so the portions are small but outstanding in flavour and presentation. Service is warm, friendly and well-informed.
Outstanding service which in some way made up for the food, which was good but not outstanding. The menu is quite small with many of the better options only available on the fixed price menu. Pricewise the restaurant is over-priced. For example; two very small lamb cutlets; £14.
Fabulous food and relaxed atmosphere perfect for lunch dining. Second visit in a couple of weeks and look forward to returning!
Great wine too!
First time at this restaurant but won't be our last.... did not know what to expect and although v small in size this place packed a punch! Wonderful attentive service with enthusiasm that got you excited about the meal ahead. Delicious dishes, in particular the pork belly, hake and quail stood out but enjoyed it all. Nice informal ambiance too. Bravo!
Tapas as it should be. Fantastic quality ingredients, great selection, knowledgable and friendly staff, lovely little restaurant and quick but not rushed service.
We ordered 8 tapas, all delivered in stages. These included Super fresh hake, Gambas fried in garlic butter (massive), gorgeous Boquerones, spicy Patatas Bravas, croquetas, jamon and manchego with honey. We then ordered two more of our favourites. There was also a tasting menu which could be paired with matching sherries, something we might try next time we visit Bristol.
The selection of sherries was really extensive, and went really well with the food. Wine was pricey, but the Rioja we had was outstanding. The Crema Catalana at the end was the best we have tasted, inside or outside Spain.
This restaurant is by the waterfront in what looks to be a pretty high-end area. It was packed at 7:30pm on a damp Tuesday, so I was glad to have booked in advance.
A lovely find serving some of the best tapas I have tasted.
DELICIOUS, FUN, LOVELY STAFF, GREAT VIBE. THE JOHN DORY WAS NEXT LEVEL.
I cannot rate it highly enough. The food was phenomenal and the service was superb. It gets quite hot and crowded in there but that just adds to the casual and friendly atmosphere.
Exceptional flavours and flawless service! Food was to die for and cocktails were amazing too! We will be back x
Great uplifting atmosphere, great food. Service is quick but pays attention to detail where needed.
Only suggestion would be to replace the hand dryer in the toilet by towels. (Less noise for the tables right next to the toilet)
I had been lucky to win a voucher to use at Paco Tapas, would definitely like to return as we enjoyed a wonderful experience the food was amazing
Fantastic authentic Spanish Tapas in the heart of Bristol. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic from start to finish, food and service was excellent
Our evening was tainted by portions of lovely food being far too small for the prices charged,by more than acceptable even for Michelin starred chefs. We are familiar with the restaurant scene in Spain, in particular Seville and have eaten in restaurants of top chefs in UK...so whilst the experience in most respects was very nice we felt that let it down and were left feeling a little disappointed as we chose not to double our tapas order as we would normally for the dishes we especially liked. We ordered a la carte so wonder if the £50 per head offered better value. So the food good just not enough of it. We eat out a lot and I expected to be recommending Pacos tho I did notice after the event I felt like the Guardian food critic having similar niggles re pricing.
It was outstanding. Kind and thoughtful servers, delicious honest food and a nice restaurant setting. Would definitely return!
Lovely early evening tapas with great service. Food impeccable and as good as tapas gets in the UK
Absolutely delicious food. Every morsel served to us was top quality and extremely tasty. We were advised that the Cornish fish was their speciality, we ordered the recommendation - oh boy did we enjoy it, it was exquisite! The service was friendly and engaging, passionately explained the origins of all the ingredients.
Would recommend this gem of Spanish cuisine highly!
3rd time I’ve been and it’s definitely gone down hill
Amazing place in Bristol. One of four Michelin star tapas restaurants. Great and friendly staff. The food is absolute the best. Feels like to be in Spain.
Our second visit in a short space of time and we will be regulars to this amazing restaurant. Dress in light clothes, or layers as it can be quite warm. Food is fantastic!
Excellent as always ! Love the monkfish with lentils. I missed the old tortilla and tomato salad tho. I prefer the runny one and love grilled tomato more. Ribs were a bit fatty but still very very tender !
Love the new front of house and great honour to be served by Peter
Lovely Spanish tapas done to perfection, great selection of wine and lovely staff as well! Highly recommended!
Always a joy eating here; reliably good food and excellent service. Not cheap though I'm happy to pay for good quality ingredients.
Outstanding food, friendly and helpful service and beautiful setting
Absolutely fantastic food and great hospitality. I recommend this restaurant who wants to enjoy the joy of sharing real tapas with creativity!
Our waitress was very knowledgable on not only our food but helped us pair Sherry with our courses. We had an incredible evening and would definitely go back. The only feedback I would change was the music selection was a bit odd...rock ballads and we ordered the rack of lamb which was disappointing for a dish that cost £12, we received 1 tiny lolly pop of lamb which was surprising given that the rest of the meal felt very good value for money.
Excellent experience and food. Worth the recommendation and the good reviews. Would certainly head back.
Paco Tapas is a small lively place which serves excellent food. I would reccomend to anyone, if there is 2 of you going try and get the chef’s table - such an experience.
Amazing food and atmosphere. A massive recommendation for beautiful food, and a lovely evening.
Absolutely brilliant and went to great effort to accommodate one of us being vegetarian. Had a really great evening. Thanks you.
Had a lovely meal here. Good fabulous and great buzzy ambience
Incredible experience, brilliant food. Tip: ask for the counter seat overlooking the kitchen. It's a spectacle.
I’ve never been sure about tapas before but I’m now a zealous convert. This was exceptional dining in a relaxed, buzzy and chic environment, outstanding.
Beautiful inside and out. Amazing service. Fantastic food. Bit pricey but it’s great for a treat.
Without doubt one of the best meals I have had in Bristol!!!!
