The food was sublime, balances of flavours was out of this world and aleixandrus just made the atmosphere perfect for my birthday meal.
Really great evening. James the manager was very attentive and explained the chefs menu perfectly.
We also requested to move to an outside table for the last course which was facilitated without issue so we could enjoy the view for the end of our meal.
All in all, lovely food with a great vibe for an occasion or date.
Delicious food from the best ingredients
This is the first time we have eaten at Paco Tapas after many years of visiting Bristol. We were excited to find a restaurant providing authentic Spanish food but found the price of drinks rather steep.
Wonderful experience great food staff and chefs very friendly and informative explaining how all the food is sourced and cooked. What ever you do you must try the Octopus.
Great food, fantastic flavours, is quite expensive
Lovely food on a beautiful autumn day, sitting outside with the sun sparkling on the water.
Excellent service from attentive and interesting waiters.
Simple and delicious. I do understand the previous reviewers who like their food cooked through a bit more as a few things were on the edge - but that's how I like it.
Great atmosphere, attentive staff. I would particularly recommend the tortilla and tomato salad.
Service was good, staff were very friendly, food as we expected from a tapas restaurant but the music was deafeningly loud and made it difficult to hear the staff or to have a conversation.
Could find no fault with our experience at Paco's.Excellent support from the servers as our experience of tapas is limited. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine superb. This is a venue that we plan to visit again. It was worth the 2 hour drive from Plymouth to get there.Well done Paco's!
Absolutely stunning food and service, will definitely visit again when in Bristol.
Fantastic food and friendly staff. A real taste of Spain and every dish was immaculate and prepared with care.
Fabtastic food, friendly and helpful staff. I would happily return here and recommend to others.
The food was great! Except for the tomato soup.
The price was good for what was served.
The music was well selected.
The chairs were not comfortable.
Some good food, although some a touch overpriced. Very loud and service inconsistent. We were left without service for over 20 minutes at the end of the meal when we wanted to order coffees, only to be then told we had give up our table for the next booking!
We chose the chef’s menu, and would certainly recommend this! The food was deserving of its Michelin star, sublime! It isn’t a cheap night out but as a special event and experience it far exceeds expectations. Staff also attentive and friendly but never pushy or stuffy. Well done Paco’s!!
One of my favourites in Bristol ! The food was fantastic as well as the service.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant isn’t too big that you’re drowned out by noise. It’s a fairly intimate place, but very comfortable and cool. The food isn’t pretentious at all, is absolutely delicious, and the Sherry pairings totally changed the way I view Sherry! I’d happily eat here every week.
Some tapas were good but all were overpriced. Only high, uncomfortable stools for seating.
Doesn’t live up the hype, although some dishes were very nice, others were very average! VERY poor service, would not return, do not recommend.
Excellent overall. Only major criticism is that they don't take American Express. I don't undertake why a restaurant of such quality doesn't, when many small independent traders do. Time for Paco Tapas to change their approach.
Very small plates
Very expensive wine list
Food took a while to come. Food is tasty and delicious. Staff are friendly and do a good job of explaining the menu.
Good quality of food at a premium price. Good to go there once for awhile
Absolutely incredible! Highly recommended great food service and atmosphere
Half of the food was great, but the rest was below average (to the point we couldn't eat it), even though we took the staff's recommendations. The music was terrible and very loud (I'm 20 years old and saying it's too loud...). Most of the staff seemed to be on another planet and not worried about serving customers. However, there was one waiter who was very good and professional (although I didn't get his name!).
You would never know this restaurant had a Michelin Star.
Outstanding meal. Fabulous food and wine. Real treat for a special occasion
Really great food and the service was exceptional. Definitely worth going
Chose Paco Taco to celebrate a 'milestone' birthday. It delivered on all levels. A warm and friendly welcome set the tone for the evening. Food was some of the finest Spanish dishes (all sharing) that I've ever tasted. Friendly and helpful service continued all night. Music mix was excellent, loud but not too loud which gave Paco Tapas a buzzy vibe.
Excellent enjoyed the evening
We had the chef menu and every dish was explained and presented well.
It brought back fond memories from living Spain.
Unreal!!!! Food was unbelievable and the atmosphere was fantastic. Definitely be back!
The food is so lovely and the staff are wonderfully attentive!
Exceptional service and food, recommend the chefs menu as plenty of variety.
We came here for a belated (due to covid) Christmas meal and it was so worth the wait! The food was incredible, wine and beers tasty and the service from Carlos was exceptional. He gave us great recommendations, customised the menu for dietary requirements, and was just wonderful! Everything we ordered was perfect we all said the Octopus was the best we'd EVER eaten!
Unique Spanish food served in a special way. Superb wines and Sherry with food cooked to exceptional levels
Excellent Tapas. Possibly best I’ve had outside of Spain. Attentive friendly service. Interesting wine list and some good Sherry. Highly recommended.
Wonderfully presented and very tasty food and excellent friendly service
Overall a great experience
Food was delicious and service was spot on
