Palace Spice Battersea
Gorgeous food and great service
The most delicious food at the best prices served with great care and consideration of the customer. Staff always friendly and helpful. Definitely the best food at a most reasonable cost. I am a regular and I often take friends who return time and time again.
Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The service is always friendly, efficient and prompt.
Excellent food, good price and friendly, helpful service.
This was our second visit to Palace Spice Battersea and, while we had enjoyable evening, felt the meal wasn't quite as good this time around. The chicken tikka massala was a disappointment. However, other items form the menu were very good.
Another fine meal at Palace Spice, with the food discount making everything very affordable.
Good service, friendly staff and value for money menu.
Excellent food, great ambience, fantastic service and more than reasonable prices. Enjoyable always.
The service is really good the food is fantastic
We travel from SE London
To eat there we don’t get there that often as it’s a bit of a trek
But we are always recognised and given a great welcome when we do
Lovely little eatary
Well recommended
Nothing is ever to much trouble and very reasonably priced
And really good sized portions
We always end up with a doggy bag
Excellent greetings, customer service ,very delicious food, very neat and clean, recommended
Great restaurant, gingerwala,Nan bread very tasty see you very soon
I am astonished that this restaurant has so many good reviews on Open Table. I cannot believe that in a city where good Indian food is abundant, this restaurant is so spectacularly bad. The staff are excellent, the service good and the ambiance fine, but the food is some of the blandest and poorly prepared Indian I have had in a long time. The tandoori mixed grill was bland and barely warm, let lone sizzling. The vegetables were much the same. The naan had been sitting around under a warming light and we had to send it back and ask for some that had been made fresh. The papadums were also tasteless. So - until they fire the chef and kick the culinary standard up by several large notches, don't believe what you read about this place and avoid it. It is an annoying waste of money.
One of my favourite curry house, friendly staff very clean restaurant top quality
Our favourite local curry house - tasty food, great service and good value!
A local staple for us - friendly staff, excellent food and reasonable prices!
Fantastic! Food was awesome and price was great.
have nothing bad to say about the experience. nothing but love
Great value and good food! Monday to Thursday 50% off deal is amazing
Great dinner as always, back again soon!! Thank you
Top quality restaurant , best in Battersea me and my loved Shapla lamb
Great prices and great waiters. Ask for their recommendations from the menu.
Nice small restaurant. Tasty Bangladeshi dishes. Good value.
Oily smell of restaurant, left me smelling like the restaurant.
Tasty, friendly service and very good value. Naga chicken was hotter than I remembered from previously!
Great food with a 'small' but nice view.
Very friendly staff and reasonably priced food.
Would recommend and go again!
Food was fantastic, unusual dishes and very friendly staff. We had a discount but would have been worth full price without it.
Would happily go back / order as a takeaway
Disappointed by the service which was indifferent to say the least. The owner was far more engaged with the various regulars coming in for take away. Food was mediocre. Wouldn't return.
Always a relaxed atmosphere, but the food, drink and service are top quality. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, excellent food, small place but I recommend
Small place, average ambience, sat next to the door so cold air kept drafting in. Food was very poor. Can't understand all the excellent reviews but maybe because we only ate vegetarian. Aloo chat was more like masala potatoes, the saag paneer was full of sugar and cream. It was white and yellow, not green. When questioned was told that's how they make it unless ordering spicy. Offered to remake but we ordered Kadai Paneer instead which was better but full of oil. Service was good but I ouldn't go back again because of the food.
An excellent restaurant with the best of food and service. I would recommend it to Queen and country.
As always, our recent visit to Palace Spice was excellent in every aspect - a friendly welcome, top-notch food, clean, modern surroundings, and great service. Once more, highly recommended!
One of the best value Indian restaurants in London. I've never had a bad or even average meal.
We visited Palace Spice after finding it on Opentable. The food is excellent and so reasonably priced, especially with the Opentable offer. House white is only £12.50p a bottle and is very drinkable. Service was also very good from a friendly young waiter and we couldn't believe the bill at the end. It was so good we went back a few nights after and would certainly revisit and strongly recommend. A great find in Clapham Junction!
Great food and great value for money, would definitely go back again
Amazing value with the Open table offer. Great food, all cooked fresh, just ask if you want a dish a little cooler (wish we had with the chicken pepper!)
Great local food. Great flavor and many menu choices
Great food as always been going palace spice a few years now outstanding
Always excellent food! We used to live near here but now we have moved still travel back to Palace Spice because it is the best indian food in the area!
Favourite Indian in London. Have moved out of the area but we will still trek into Clapham to enjoy this little gem. The staff are super friendly and the food AMAZING.
