   Sat outside in beautiful surroundings and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea. Our server Holly was amazing, she was friendly, attentive and polite. The finger sandwiches, scones and cakes were delicious and we will definitely return.

   We ordered both the vegetarian and standard afternoon tea, both of which were delicious. The bread used for the sandwiches was particularly good and there was ample fillings in all the sandwiches. The cake selection was a good variety Victoria Sandwich, Chocolate Brownie and Lemon Cake, all of which were freshly made. There was also a scone accompanied by jam and cream. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and we sat outside under the large patio umbrellas which offered some shade from the sun. We were very impressed by our afternoon tea experience at Palm Court. Will definitely return again.

   Excellent lunch for 6, outdoors even moved table and parasols to ensure misty rain did not dampen our get together. ✅

   The family's new favourite place; when warm and sunny, it's like being on the continent. Wins on all counts other than the small range of gluten free food, though the waitress did let me know that the burger patty contained gluten.

   Had a lovely meal, huge umbrella's for sitting outside, waitress was superb. Can highly recommend. Have to mention the warmed salted caramel brownie with clotted cream....yum!! Also great for disabled access & have a disabled toilet downstairs.

   Went for afternoon tea for a 90th Birthday treat. Really good selection of sandwiches and cakes, including very well thought out options for the 2 vegans present. Can't fault anything on the food front. The service was nice and friendly although perhaps slightly the wrong side of slow, especially when it came to clearing plates when it was clear that everyone had finished eating. Appreciate it sounds over-critical especially when feeling rushed in a venue is much worse, but just a bit more wandering around from the guys serving the tables would not have gone amiss. Other than that I would highly recommend

   A place I have used a number of times but not during the pandemic as they were only offering a limited service. Our visit on Friday was back 'to normal' I'm pleased to say with full choice of menu and the food quality was excellent. Very friendly and pleasant staff too.

   Roast dinner was amazing - would definitely come back. Nice under the marquee while it was raining outside, warm with the heaters and lots of people. Busy but service still good. Thank you!

    Despite booking they refused to sit us, however there were many empty tables and then said they had a function later and didn't want us there!

    Palm Court PavilionResponded on 17 May 2022Hi Sally, to put the record straight you booked on opentable after you came to the Palm Court and was informed we were fully booked...so a bit naughty and poor review not needed. The availability had not been updated, we have just joined Opentable and still awaiting support to correct our afternoon tea availability which we have been waiting for since joining.
