Fabulous as always! Love the feeling of being welcomed and the food is always excellent.
Ordered Spaghetti Carbonara, but was served Penne. Was not offered crack black pepper or Parmesan cheese, which is always offered at any other Italian.
Food, atmosphere and staff were all amazing. Genuinely can’t fault a thing.
Lovely lovely outdoor setting and we were so lucky with the weather. Great food, lovely attentive staff. Will definitely come again.
I have been to ingliston many times over the years. I look forward to our date nights there as the food, cocktails and service are always good.
However, on this occasion this was not the case. On arrival we were seated, waitress took our order and we ordered drinks, although they had ran out of strawberry’s for the strawberry daiquiri I was happy to have the raspberry versions.on the drinks arriving a rude waitress then said these cocktails aren’t on the menu anymore we have a shortened list, as a customer who wasn’t given a cocktail menu and had to look up their internet menu I felt this was slightly rude. She did offer to bring the cocktail menu to table, however she never came back and I seen her on opposite side of restaurant chatting.
No one checked on us throughout the meal even though our glasses were empty. The pizzas that we both ordered were also bland and did not taste the same as previous visits. We were so appalled by the service and the lack of service. what should have been a date night turned into one drink a meal and then the bill.
Sadly I won’t be returning to ingliston in the near future.
Beautiful evening for dining al fresco. Could do with someone at front of house to meet/greet people. Food was delicious, although a bit slow, however as we were not in any hurry, it did not take the shine off of our evening.
Unfortunately service was very poor, we had to wait in excess of 20 minutes for a drink. This is the second time that i have sat outdoors and i must say that the service outside is not as good as indoor service.
Food good but expensive compared to similar restaurants
Excellent food , staff very friendly, had to wait for a while for food but think this was due to a wedding party. Good value for money.
The restaurant itself and surrounding area was lovely. The food was pleasing. Service appalling. We ordered the three course meal from the Horses for Courses menu when we did finally get served. When our starters arrived we were not given any cutlery and had to wait for same. We were in the restaurant for nearly two hours when we eventually managed to track down a waitress to find out what was happening with our desert which we had ordered at the same time as starters and main meals. Our desserts were obviously forgotten about so we requested that they were taken off our bill as we had waited so long.
Don’t know what the problems seem to be as there looked as if there were enough waiters/waitresses on site but as has previously been mentioned in someone else’s review they were all standing about at the till chatting.
Would like to bring to the manager’s attention that two tables next to us were never cleared the whole of our visit which resulted in seagulls coming to these tables and eating the leftover food which was very unhygienic and off putting.
Very nice food, although we felt we had to wait awhile for our drinks. Starters were out before our drinks
amazing meal great location and brilliant service.
Staff were lovely and very friendly and attentive. Made the whole afternoon enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back
A little expensive but worth it for the quality.
Haven't been in a while and it was too hot to sit out but cool and quiet indoors
Nor the staffs fault but service was really slow, (drinks took atleast 15 mins to make it to the table) lunch menu food wasn't great, not worth the price. but the outside area is a lovely sunny place to sit and nice music playing etc, would only recommend for sitting for drinks
We had a lovely meal in the sunshine. The service was very good and the food lovely.
We took our wee puppy who got a very warm welcome and even a bowl of water.
Would highly recommend a visit.
Fabulous food very good value, beautiful place, highly recommend😍
Loved eating here. Brilliant food, atmosphere and service.
Fish dry ,goats cheese foccacia bland ,garlic potatoes inedible .
Food not what it used to be . Invited family visiting from London, disappointed.
Very pleasant staff, however had to queue to enter, waited 50 minutes for meal and another 20 minutes for the bill.
My husband enjoyed his steak immensely, I was a little disappointed with the pasta.
Our favourite restarting that never disappoints. Will be back again.
Excellent food but service all over the place. Waited 25 minutes for starter then another 40 minutes for main course. Decided then to skip sweet and just have cake and coffee but even that took over 25 minutes even after we had alerted staff to the fact they we were still waiting! Actual restaurant was fairly quiet but there was a wedding on when we were there so had our suspicions that that was taking priority. It’s a pity because this is a lovely venue with great food.
Service was really good. Atmosphere was lovely outside on a sunny afternoon. Unfortunately the main I wanted wasn’t available and I chose the other special which was the crab and lemon spaghetti. It was nice but I didn’t feel it was worth the £17 price tag so wouldn’t have it again. Overall a lovely lunch and will be back.
Lovely meal and great service.COVID safe and comfortable dining.
Outdoor eating area with music in the background was brilliant.
Felt safe and very comfortable. Staff were great and food was delicious. Will definitely be returning, thanks to all.
Table of 8 people, most of the food was excellent but a couple of dishes could have been better.. The king prawn dish didn't have many prawns and the banana split was served in a really small bowl making it difficult to enjoy.. Overall it was enjoyable
Kept having to ask for service, didn’t seem too busy outside but could have been inside and there was a wedding on so maybe just more staff required. Otherwise food was nice and venue is beautiful.
We waited 1hour 40 mins for our mains and drinks ordered never turned up. No one apologised for our wait and no one asked how the meal was at the end. Very poor service, this is the second time it has been very lax
Been to the restaurant lot’s of times with family and with kids. Also as a couple and love the place, the food is amazing but this time the service was really poor and spoiled the evening on a special birthday . Don’t know if I will be returning
Really nice it was a Family Celebration lovely table and surroundings amazing service
Food was perfect will definitely go back.
Seems to be very popular which resulted in a long wait for our order but food was lovely when it did come.
The food was amazing, staff were very polite and didn’t wait long for food which was always a bonus
A last minute booking which did not disappoint!! Food and service were both excellent, will definitely return.
Food tasty and great portion size however spoiled by the poor service. Waitress very polite but just not enough staff on the floor to deal with a busy lunch service. Waited 25 minutes to get the attention of one of the staff for more drinks just not acceptable. Very loud diners close by that had no respect for others. Given wrong bill charged for items that were from the diners at the next table (the loud ones)
Great welcome and great food!
2nd visit in 4 months , staff that were there very helpful. Very short staffed though and had to wait ages for drinks, almost finished food by the time they came. Tables not cleared so seagulls where helping themselves to food outside that was left on plates. Furs visit waited 50 minutes for cocktails that were ordered then gave up. Staff did apologise but very disappointing. First visit was end of April after restrictions lifted then went yesterday 13Th July. Beautiful setting but will not go back for a while due to poor service, shame as we live locally and used to go a lot and had recommended to others . Not so now :(
The service team are excellent, unfortunately the speed of food delivery is very slow. Kitchen staff need to be quicker on food delivery. The restaurant was not particularly busy.
Food is very good and big portions.
Food was excellent, when it arrived!! Waited 40 mins for our drinks to arrive & 1 hr for food, apparently some issue with the computer even though the waitress said she realised everyone around us had their order???? Table next to us had food, dessert and 2 rounds of drinks in the time we waited…not the best experience!!
Amazing food and beautiful setting. Disappointed to no longer see the Prawn linguine on the menu, always a favourite of mine.
We had never visited Palomino's before having just moved to the area but we had to wait almost an hour for a relatively simple main course. The starters came after 40 minutes which again was disappointing. They served us our starters without any cutlery and then disappeared saying they would get us some. After 10 minutes we had to ask someone else. I also ordered a cocktail from the cocktail menu and was told after 15 minutes they did not have the ingredients! Fortunately I ordered something else I liked. I am so disappointed after having heard great things from my neighbours. The food was okay but again nothing amazing.
