Overpriced, food not too bad
Their ambience is excellent. Service is great. Waiters were very helpful. Charged my iPhone when battery was low.
Great for vegetarians - only thing was dessert was a bit disappointing ( apple crumble). Starters and mains were awesome especially the glass noodles! Highly recommend
Very fun night out here.
Jazz quartet was playing and very good ( surprise £10 cover pp though )
Food exotic enough and fresh
Would go back
A 'grand' Chinese.. Not just in ambience and food.. But the price too! It is a lovely place to go for a special night, however is really over priced, extortionate really. I get the Mayfair 😞, town up market vibe but really there is no need to push up the prices just 'because'. Food tasted good but I have had excellent Chinese food elsewhere and wouldn't say it was worth going back in a hurry. Friends even said the same thing over priced but would definitely visit once. Nevertheless they don't need to change anything as they are always fully booked so they must be getting something right!
Very dynamic and fun restaurant. Definitely not your regular everyday restaurant. You visit Park Chinois for the unique experience. I would definitely recommend. Please note that the restaurant is "quite pricey"
Special occasion family Birthday. Dining room very grand and food overall was okay, nothing more. Kai does it better.
One complaint only; Singularly the worst waiting staff treatment from a male waiter ever experienced. Certainly did not understand the concept of hospitality nor principle of a restaurant being there for its patrons convenience and pleasure, rather than the other way around.
First up was his comment about daughters (Birthday girl) allergies (fish and nut) and could we have a simple chicken fried rice or noodles? The answer a flat "no". On the menu is egg fried rice, noodle dishes and chicken dishes. That conversation was finished with a "we're here to run a business". Not a good start. Next was how he would "have a special word with the chef to see if there's a peking duck available". The menu suggests 24-hours notice required which isn't very helpful if you haven't browsed the menu online before arriving. Novikov across the road have hundreds of ducks hanging up and really do understand world-class customer service. From there it was just pushy. Plates/dishes being cleared away while still dining, zero time to pause between courses and then asked to depart the table after the agreed two hours when the restaurant was still empty.
We asked for the £90 service charged to be removed before settling the bill, which they did.
Overall, a pompous restaurant completely flattered by itself with far too many first time, super-wealthy or tourist'y customers.
From the many amazing online reviews my own account appears a rare departure. To be clear, the only thing that skewed our experience was the attitude of a solitary waiter. Everyone else was super-friendly and completely professional.
Sensational food. Worth the money - the ambiance, service and food are all very special. I enjoyed discovering new luxurious dishes. The Spanish carabineros with sea urchin was truelly delicious!
I cannot fault the service nor food - my dig isn’t to this particular establishment but generally these Mayfair restaurants are now catering now for clients with deep pockets and small IQs - there are many restaurants in the capital where you can have great food, service and ambiance and not pay £400 for two people... it’s just a tourist trap
Everything was good- the only reason I would not go back again was the live singing, which was too loud!
High end Chinese restaurant. Top of the pack. Excellent experience.
Fantastic food and service. The vegetarian dish could have had more flavour, it was ok. Overall, great for a speacial ocassion.
Very happy to found this place. Excellent food and awesome service.
Worth any amount of money to have the Duck de Chine...
The best of the evening was the music show. Great sound, the singer splendid anthe the music choice the best.
The food was very spicy, even hot.
La coctelería nos sorprendió, el lugar tiene muy buen ambiente, la música en vivo te hace vivir una experiencia muy completa, el servicio espectacular y la comida muy rica. Definitivamente una experiencia para recordar.
Good ambiance e good menu.
Excellent Service, elegant environment, romantic ambience and great live Jazz. Unparalleled in London. ,
Food not as good as it once was go for the atmosphere and entertainment only
Great entertainment programme and good food. The staff seemed partially lost and the Peking duck was a bit oily.
Had my 1st wedding anniversary dinner there and it was amazing. The service was fantastic I felt the staff made me comfortable and had a good knowledge of the food and drinks menu.
Gorgeous space and impeccable service. The prix fixe lunch menu is a great value!
Enjoyed the meal but ran out of time to have dessert as our table was needed back. Woild have been better to have been able to stay longer!
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish, the show was great, the service excellent, fantastic atmosphere, can’t wait to go back again
Total Ripp Off! The place has seen its best times and is going down the drain!
The staff were amazing, great service
Need to work on your Food. We ordered the crispy chicken and wagyu beef with tofu. Had a very strong taste of some sauce yet was bland. Wasabi prawns and spring rolls were good.
The food and service was great and we have been able to sit longer than our seating. The ambiance was okay. Too many women dining alone with each other as opposed a glamorous mixed couples and groups
Definitely will return
Lovely atmosphere, good friendly staff. Starter portions could be bigger. Overall good tasty food.
Fantastic as usual
Food was alright but way too expensive for a Chinese restaurant. Could get far better value in many other places.
Very expensive and not good value. Charge for entertainment ridiculous as we didn't see the band as they were just setting up an we left. Would not recommend.
Absolutely amazing dining experience and entertainment . We went there on Good Friday with a party of five and were lucky enough to have Table in the middle of the show floor. That’s right there’s a dinner show which is way too funny. Great little short acts while your enjoying an amazing Chinese fusion meal. Our service staff was fantastic but that also has to do with the level of spend and we were allowed to keep the table until 1030 pm which isn’t normal for London at all. All the food was over the top in terms of taste and presentation. If your looking for a good special occasion diner do try it out, but make you book at club chinois, not upstairs.
Excellent resturant great atmosphere and food was delicious
a beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating and an excellent menu. Food is pricey and one of our dishes (truffle rice hot pot) was burnt but the service was very good indeed. Also one not ordered item came to the table, we were told it will be taken off the bill but this did not happen. But it was a tasty dish (not as good as the ones we ordered).
In short, excellent service, beautiful decadent ambience and some great food; pricey.
Customer service and atmosphere was so good but food I felt didn’t taste like before especially spring rolls and lobster noodles but overall I enjoyed it
Lively atmosphere, food was not extremely good but nice.
Service was ok and didn’t know they have a two hours rule for the table so I took time to enjoy the food and then have just 15 minuets to taste the dessert.
Our table was next to the loud speakers, it’s really bothersome, also they have 3 Chairs for a table that should only take 2 chairs.
Great food, atmosphere and service. Perfect for a date night or any special occasion. The staff was very kind to let us order the Park Carbonara which was part of the menu from Salon de Chine as our table was downstairs at Club chinois. The apple cheesecake and coconut dessert was top notch! The only thing I would say is if you want to enjoy a conversation over food, then I would recommend getting there early maybe 6:30pm as it tends to start getting busier and the music becomes louder at around 8pm.
Excellent food I always enjoyed 😉 it’s one of best restaurants in London and it’s my favourite special black truffle dumpling 😋
