Great place, food and service needs work. My wife ordered a Caesars Salad and the dressing was horrible, I ordered a skirt steak and the Chimichurri wasn’t made at the restaurant. Very informal service for such an expensive restaurant. Two people dinner no appetizers, on moderate bottle of wine, the tab was $180. Outrageous for that amount you can get a better restaurant. Sorry guys I don’t see a future in this place.
Located at the top of Popular Center in the financial district, it has the best city view in all of San Juan! Food is excellent. Prices are reasonable. Can you ask for more?
We couldn’t find our waiter half the time. The food took forever. Over 30 mins. We had to be somewhere so we had to take it home. The mofongo was dry. And they forgot my husband’s 2 sides. Very disappointed.
Great place to eat! Highly recommended! Thank you for your attention!
This place serves the best ropa vieja I have ever tasted! We had attentive service and everyone enjoyed their dishes while overlooking the city of San Juan.
The food was delicious, outstanding service.
My only complaint is the music was too loud.
Luis, the waiter was very profesional and knowledgeable of all related to making an enjoyable dining experience. All recommendations hit the spot, excellent ambiance and food.
My first time at Pa’rtiba. Decided to go there because of other reviews (THANK
YOU!! ). Took
My sister who came to visit the island and she loved the Mogongo w/Shrimp. I had the Conch filled Avocado. Yum!!! Good ambiance, great happy hour and excellent food and service.
Everything was so perfect! The food, the sangria, the view, the service... everything
very good octopus
Amazing time and amazing view. Our busperson did amazing with the recommendations. We were a party of 13 people .
Nice Ambiance awesome service. My BIrthday
This place is great. Awesome service, great food and great wine. And the view....
The mashed potatoes were cold, sliders were overcooked and the bacon was burnt. It was loud. The food wasn’t conmensurate with the price. The assistant to the waiter was nice but the waitress lacked strong customer service skills.
Great lunch! Halibut with tostones and everything else just excellent!!
It was very nice. Had an hard time finding the restaurant but overall it’s was great.
Great food, drinks and views!
The food was outstanding puertorrican with an international touch. All 6 dishes where excellent. Everyone was pleased. Perhaps the music was slightly loud. The view, drinks, and appetizers are unforgettable!
The food was amazing! Everyone loved it. The portions were huge. The shrimp mofongo with garlic butter sauce was the best meal I’ve had so far in Puerto Rico. Highly recommend.
Spectacular view. Excellent service. Great location. Amazing food. All in all, it has everything to be a great restaurant. However, I'd like it if they could isolate the sounds from the bar area more, using curtains, etc. Not a huge amount of noise, but it can get on the nerves. But it will still garner 5 stars from me.
Twice in two weeks, the meat was rare when I asked well done the first time (it was pork), and rare and bloody when I asked medium well/slightly pink in the center the second time.
Why is it that this restaurant doesn't serve bread and butter???
Word is spreading out among friends and coworkers about poor service, poor attention to details, and high prices for what you get...
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! Definitely a upper class restaurant that is very relaxing. Ill be coming back again!
Servicio lento y casi inexistente.
We had a reservation for 7:15 we got seated at 8:30, they were clearly overbooked and had multiple events occurring at the same time. The food was sub par, lacking in flavor and presentation and the ambience was lacking. It was marketed as a hip trendy spot, but it was overrun with young families with lots of children. Overall it felt cheap and overhyped.
It felt like any stereotypical chain restaurant with a Puerto Rican name and dim lighting.
Angel, the waiter who served us didn’t met our expectation. The approaching and professionalism were poor. The food was very good, but when we visit a restaurant like this, we always value the level of service and in this case it was very bad ... sadly.
Great food and attentive service. We will definitively go back.
The shrimp and garlic sauce mofongo was amazing! !
Service was excellent...this being the first time I was impressed with the ambiance. Good for gathering and pre concerts at Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. Will return soon!
Best city view of any restaurant in San Juan. Sitting atop Banco Popular Center in downtown it has views from its main dining room overlooking east and north. From other rooms, for private activities, it has views overlooking west and south. Beautiful views day and night. Food is good too. The owner is Puerto Rico's most successful restaurateur, a mild-mannered, low-key gentleman with plenty of experience in giving patrons what they pay for. You can go all-out—they have one of the most impressive wine lists of any restaurant in Puerto Rico—or dine on a budget. You will be satisfied regardless. Go to Pa'rriba. You will not regret it.
The food was very good
And the view is one of the best in Hato Rey.
The day I went there was a DJ Playing music and the noice level was too high for me. But maybe for other they like that.
It was a special evening and the staff and food made it possible spectacular view and ambiance. Thanks Pàrriba for a wonderful night.
Music on the bat was so loud from the music at the bar.
Food was good, but was not warm enough.
Luis, very good waiter
