Beautiful place but the food for me was over priced for what it was, the kids menu was very small not alot of choice at all! Overall a shame as it was a lovely restraunt.

Have been to Parsonage a few times before but given the restrictions in place now they have done a great job to make the necessary changes without losing the really friendly ambience. The service was first class and food was really great, particular praise for the belly of pork and the cod with mussels.
We even got a parking space which was a bonus!

Best creme brûlée I’ve had in a while, and the scallops were amazing but my pork belly was a little dry but other than that wonderful evening out. Lovely atmosphere and style

Overall a wonderful restaurant, and a hidden gem of Oxford. Service not quite there with expected attention to detail for the money but will certainly try again.

A visit to the Old Parsonage makes you feel life really could return to normal. Comfortable, careful and lovely food. What’s not to like. Relax in comfort and forget the world out there.

The service was excellent. It’s a really beautiful space they have created. I did however not find the standard of the food up to the prices charge.

The service was faultless, the food delicious and when we had a small problem it was dealt with immediately and very professionally. The lunch, dinner and breakfast were all just right.

Perfect for an early weekday breakfast before a day of online meetings. Two boiled eggs, bowl of porridge, generous toast, and coffee was good value for two.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch there, with an interesting menu, a sensible house red to drink, and attentive service.

Great family Sunday lunch. The old P has managed to retain a warm and friendly ambiance whilst still keeping sufficient space for diners to move about and not worry about distancing. Food was fantastic, venison was cooked to perfection, the portions were well sized so you felt you were getting good value for the price tag.

A beautiful restaurant. The food, service and ambience was absolutely impeccable. The creme brulee is to die for! We will definitely be returning when we can.

Although we have dined several times at The Old Parsonage, this was our first time to try the Afternoon Tea, which turned out to be truly scrumptious. Champagne was the perfect accompaniment for finger sandwiches, and the lapsong souchang tea was a perfect complement.

We were seated near the fire which was lovely but also by the external door so there was a very cold draft most of the time as there was a lot of coming and going.
The high tea was good but the vegan options were apparently not great and would not be chosen again.
Staff were very pleasant but could have been more attentive.

Perfect place for breakfast at 0730 on a Saturday. Excellent service, quiet and safe, together with good cooked breakfast, ample toast, and a large silver jug of coffee.

Could not recommend more. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and staff you cannot fault. Recommend the champagne 1660 cocktail and the scallops, wonderful.

Sadly, some of the food not up to the usual high standard. One dish was dried out and burnt.

I just love this place. I was there on the first night you re-opened and the last night before you closed again. Cant wait till you re-open again.

We had a wonderful time. The staff, the food and the warm cosy fireplace was amazing. We were with my 5year old daughter and she almost licked her plate at the end.

We had a gorgeous afternoon tea here. Elegant yet cosy surroundings, excellent service and delicious food. We’ve had Afternoon Tea at some of the big London hotels and this one was on a par. Excellent value for money by comparison too

Early morning breakfast in a warm, cosy, and Covid-safe restaurant. Staff are lovely and food is excellent. A citadel of civilisation amongst the plagues of 2020.

Food was, as per its usual Standard, outstanding. The welcome and attentiveness of staff was also outstanding. The warm atmosphere is always so conducive to a special occasion or treat. The setting is simply unique, lavish and memorable.
