A very delicious and piping hot breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would heartily recommend paying this lovely cafe a visit.

Only thing was the high top table at window is very close to the table behind. Luckily we moved to another table for a 30 minute stint.

Everything was just perfect and it helped to be early in the day as they were not busy

Nice ambience, good food - cheeseburger and enormous chips!

Only one complaint....the breakfast is too big but tastes SOO good I had to keep eating it! Merry Christmas x

Fantastic café in Portobello. Excellent selection of food, we had two gluten free diners and we could eat almost everything on the menu. Great staff who were very attentive. Definitely will be back!

Order was vegetable breakfast and breakfast roll, both hit the mark. Definitely be back, maybe try lunch. Service very good and pleasant. Great addition to Porty!

I have been to Passeys 5 times now and have always found the food to be absolutely delicious and the staff are always lovely. When I was there on Wednesday 16 December for lunch, the parsnip soup and festive turkey sandwich were both very tasty. I will definitely be going back either over the festive season or early in the New Year.

Lovely setting, really nice coffee but I had the vegitarian breakfast which was not cooked great. The potato scone was so hard I couldn't cut it and struggled to bite into it, the bacon snapped it was so dry and I feel it was overpriced for what I had. I would suggest paying cash as if you pay card you can't see on the machine how much you are paying and they do not provide a paper receipt.

Perfect for a quiet chat on a wet Monday at 10.30am so not busy. The staff are excellent and the decor is lovely. Coffee was very nice and the cakes were 'ok' nothing different from most coffee shops these days.

Covid safe, delicious food. The Vegan Xmas lunch was really good. Super helpful staff. Relaxed and stylish environment. Good value. Would recommend.

I’ve had a few lunches and coffees at Passeys over the past few weeks and have always enjoyed my visit as have my friends.

Had a lovely breakfast on Thursday, food was fab, huge portions, service was relaxed, warm and friendly and the shortbread that came with the drinks melted in the mouth!

The mash and vegetables were quite cold which I don’t really mind but the potato wedges were burned. Staff shortage was the only problem and we had a lovely lunch

This is the 4th time I have been to The Passey Coffee Company and I really like it there. I had the turkey festive lunch yesterday and it was absolutely lovely. My first turkey lunch of the festive period. I am going back with a friend for lunch on 16 December and really looking forward to it. The staff are great, always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They make you feel really at ease also, if you are nervous about eating out at all. I think it's excellent value for money too. Can't wait to go back again!

cosy inviting place. Owners are lovely & friendly, recognising all their regular customers. They were having to turn so many by passersby away as it was fully booked. You need to book in advance, especially at weekend. Food delicious and there’s somethings a little different too. Highly recommend the Blondie cake - gluten free. Definitely a must to eat or just relax with a coffee & cake 😋

Fantastic. We had full vegan and vegetarian breakfasts and enjoyed them very much. A friendly, inclusive and very popular cafe - they were turning away customers constantly during our stay. Booking is essential.

We have been on number of occasions and have always found the owners very polite and attentive to our food choices.The breakfasts are of a high quality and service is prompt and like many others we have found the coffee is superb.We booked with the new system and have found it very effective and the staff make you feel as though you belong.Portobello and Passey’s belong together.

Lovely little cafe in Portobello. It's quirk, cosy and comfortable with interesting decor. A good choice of food from coffe and scones to great selection of main meals. Would definitely recommend.
