This was our first visit and were drawn in by the menu. I was disappointed to be seated in the casual area adjacent to the bar instead of a proper table cloth service. It was still early and they could have easily accommodated us. There was some sporting event being followed by many people in the bar who were quite vocal, and this spoiled the ambience we had hoped for. But the service was prompt and attentive and our drinks were kept fresh without asking. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and we were pleased with our selections from the daily specials, Swordfish, which the waiter suggested we order blackened, and Maryland crab cakes with a choice of sauce. We split a simple green salad that had a very tasty vinaigrette dressing and green beans almomdine and asparagus as accompaniments. The food was good and everything was fresh and served without undue delay. Overall a good experience. Next time we’ll insist on a table in the regular dining room.

USED to be good, but not so much anymore. Food is not on par with where it was the years following its opening. Fish not as fresh and meaty, preparation sloppy. Service not good at all. Passion Fish I loved you, but everything seems to have suffered in the last year. Disapponting.

I would say our server made us feel at home. From then on food and service was excellent. We were celebrating our 21st Anniversary and I’m glad we decided to have it at PassionFish. Our server’s name was Matt. Great guy!!! Thank you and will be back. Hopefully you guys are still at RTC since a lot of restaurants are closing. Plus using the open table made it easy for me to reserve a table, unlike the last time we came, i was turned away cause we didn’t have a reservation. Thank you.

The entire experience was exquisite. Happy Hour at the bar was a nice transition from work. Plenty of seating and very friendly patron, hey Cassandra. The food was well seasoned, appropriately prepared, and delivered with precision and timing.

Thanks for a great experience.

This was a totally fantastic experience. Matt was spot on with suggestions and assisting with the wine selection (1/2 Price Sundays - splurge!) - what we love is the prep on the fish. Both had Turkish Sea Bass and it was cooked perfectly. No bread offered - nor needed. The meal was all of 5 stars - and in RESTON!

Our food was good, but I felt that it was overpriced. The whitefish spread was exceptional as were the little rolls. The sushi was good, but not amazing and very expensive. I did enjoy the oysters, but again, they were pricey. I had a gift card. I don't think I'd go back if I had to pay full price.

We enjoyed Easter dinner for our first experience here. The crab cakes were delicious and the Nantucket scallops with pork belly were outstanding. Dessert was artfully presented and tasty. We would
Ike to return to sample more seafood and bring friends who haven’t yet been to Passion Fish.
Our only request, however, is that carpet sweepers be left in the closet until diners are gone. It spoils the atmosphere a bit when the crumbs are being collected around you.

This is our go-to special occasion restaurant. The food is consistently good. The service is professional, although it can be a little slow if you are not a fan of dining for a couple of hours. I don't mind that because you never feel like they are trying to get you in and out quickly to maximize their profit. Also, this restaurant is generally on the quieter side, which is important to me and because we sometimes have elderly with us. The tables are not squished together, so you have quiet and privacy. I am feeling like they should invest in some redecoration having been at this location a number of years, the decor is ok, but would like to see it elevated.

Passion fish lives up to its name, it is a place for people who are passionate about great seafood. Three of us went to celebrate a birthday and we had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the service absolutely impeccable, the wait staff personable and fun and it was just a great experience. Now this place is not for the faint of pocketbook. You can quickly drop $100 or more per person especially if you love sushi which was the favorite of 2 out of the 3 of us. Wife and daughter ordered the Dragon tower sushi and raved about how good it was. We also ordered the appetizer that was a tower or clams, oysters, lobster and crab that was also fantastic. None of us actually ordered a full dinner, because the different appetizers we ordered and shared were all amazing and very filling. I tried the cervice which was also good and I finished with the Lobster bisque and their take on oysters rockafeller which was also good. This is one of those special occasion restaurants for us, but we will be back again because it was so good. Keep up the great work Passion Fish.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Good Friday tradition of having lunch at Passion Fish. The food was excellent! And our waiter was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive. We were also able to sit outside, which was an added benefit. Such a fun lunch!

Family of 5 had a seafood dinner. Everyone ordered different plates and no one dish was that great. The best tasting thing on the menu was the bread basket served with a fish cream cheese flavored butter and dessert which was a chocolate molten dish thingy.
The fried oyster and calamari had too much bread batter coating it to taste the seafood. The charred grilled octopus did NOT go well the hummus. Who thought of putting that together?! Sometimes, simplicity is best instead of trying to be so creative and just fails.
