Incredible food and friendly service. Special thanks to the manager, Napoleon!
I would reccomend but we have been there before and this time we were really disapointed of food. Main course was nice but startes were nothing good liked we remembered.
Excelente comida y atención
Fantastic food, thankyou
We love the place, but the lady servers could be more friendly. We ordered our favorite green curry and it was watery so we complained, and my iced coffee was more ice than coffee .Well the Man who seems to be in charge, immediately changed the curry and it was delicious. Moreover, he gave us a full order to take home instead of the 1/2 I was planning to take, and did not charge me for my coffee. I love this man. He really wants to succeed and have happy customers.
Made a reservation through the app for 10:00PM after the musical “Big”. We arrived at 10:14PM as it was a longer walk, and my wife and I were excited to eat there as we really wanted Thai and the reviews were so good. Was told by the hostess that they had no reservation for us, and that the restaurant was closed. When I asked if the hours were really until 11:00PM as it said on the door, she brushed us away with her hand saying “we’re closed, you must leave”. We were obviously very disappointed!
So OpenTable, we didn’t get a chance to dine there! Would’ve liked to, but with that experience doubt we’d ever go back.
starters were cold and the squid turned rubbery. Waiter forgot to bring me my drink and left without a drink for most of my meal.
Happy with h the booking food service ambiance presentation and taste. Will recommend and visit again.
It was an overall pleasant experience, the food was okay, I ordered a chicken Thai green and the flavours were very nice but the chicken was dry. The other items ordered were very good. Average price for where it was situated. Also I did request them to wish my girlfriend happy birthday but they forgot and gave us the bill, she was left feeling a little sad but I took her for dessert elsewhere.
Good food, Good service and not too expensive. We were there for business lunch and it was perfect.
Very well executed Thai food. Service was very good. Interior atmosphere ok
The quality of the cooking has declined steadily over the last year....
Food was exemplary, but when I thought nothing could top it, the friendly and prompt service did just that. Great evening out. Will come back again for sure.
For Thai food in an upmarket restaurant, I expected better. The flavours were flat, not enough salt, sugar lime juice and chilli. Nam prik pla was not offered to enhance the dishes. The portion sizes were on the small size, even though the ingredients (noodles) are cheap.
The food was good and service was quick. However we had issues with manager regarding the time for which we could occupy the table. I also saw 2 other parties having similar problems with the manager.
Really disappointing as we usually go to our local branch in Hampstead - decided to try the Oxford Circus branch on this occasion. The egg fried rice literally had one piece of egg and two small pieces of spring onion. We were given no choice but to accept the waitress's explanation when we queried it. Apparently, that's how they make it! The remaining food was not great and some dishes were cold. Dark and noisy ambiance.
Overall, a very unpleasant experience and very poor value! Definitely will not visit again nor recommend.
Worst experience in a long time. I arrived right at the time for which I booked the table (7pm). There was barely anyone in the restaurant but the manager refused to let me sit insisting that could only sit when my date arrived. Notice that no one greeted me let aside offered to put my jacket in the cloak room. When my date arrived around 15 minutes later, again we were left waiting at the entrance. We subsequently opted to leave and will definitely black list this restaurant!
Fantastic food, impeccable services.
Excellent, authentic cuisine!
Lovely meal, food was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again.
Great service, delicious food and brilliant staff.
We went for my sisters birthday and they did everything possible to make it extra special....even bringing out a cake with a candle, which we didn't even request.
I love Patara, no matter which restaurant I have been to, the food has always been amazing. Even in Bangkok! Definitely recommend it a restaurant to visit at least once
Food was decent, though a little pricey. Service was horrendous, making the whole experience extremely unpleasant
Service was slow. Mango sticky rice dessert was tasteless and overpriced, and the soup was a small portion for the price.
Amazing food, soft shell crab, Tom yum soup and green curry were superb. Pricey but good.
Excellent thai food. We appreciated everything we tried from starters to dessert. Waiting staff was excellent. The room a bit loud but overall a very good experience.
Would really recommend to any thai food lover!
We have been to Patara in Soho many times, but chose to go to Oxford Circus due to convenience of meeting. The food was as good as the other branch with a great combination of flavour and a freshness to the food. The ambience of this restaurant isn't as good as the other restaurant in Soho. It felt like we were slightly packed into a side room, but that's the space that the restaurant is working with. Patara remains our favourite Thai restaurant in London.
Like being in a Slug and Lettuce.
Avoid. Go to the Soho branch.
I was disappointed with Patara this time , it’s a couple of years since I dined there and it wasn’t what I experienced in the past , the prawn crackers were stale , our mixed starter was cold and not freshly made , Mains were ok , we did enjoy a lovely bottle of Puilly fume and the service was very good , pity about the food and the restaurant could do with a make over.
Great service and great food. Only downside for us was being sat next to a very noisy table of 7, we literally couldn’t hear each other.
The staff were extremely welcoming and the food was very tasty. The Soya Noodle Chicken was a hit for my party and I, we loved it, along with the Pad Thai 👍
Friendly service and freshly cooked food. One guest had to wait rather a long time for her main course to arrive but couldn't fault the quality when it did.
A lot of hype which the price doesn't meet. Service was good but the food was just decent. Great atmosphere and ambience.
We have been to this restaurant on many occasions at lunchtime and the food as ever was faultless. Very central and lunchtime specials extremely well priced. Service impeccable.
Amazing food, green Thai curry was delicious would definitely recommend
Great food, great service I would definately go back and recomend to others
Perfect for London Palladium and swiftly served and good Thai Green curries
Very good Thai restaurant with friendly staff and perfect proximity for Oxford Street shops or the Palladium.
Awesome food. Especially loved the pineapple seafood fried rice and the iced milk tea is a must have!!!! Also, finally found a Thai place that serves mango sticky rice which is my favorite thing !!!!
Excellent food at this delightful Thai restaurant. We went for the sharing Banquet Menu which provides 4 starters, 3 mains with rice and broccoli and a dessert. We pointed out that there was not enough of two of the main courses to share properly between 4 people and more of each of the dishes arrived without question - and delicious it all was.
I was disappointed that Patara's sister restaurant Suda Thai had closed, however, the Patara Oxford Circus more than made up for the disappointment . We ordered off the set menu, food was extremely good and portions were generous. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. I will going back in July!
