Wonderful thanks so much! The food was fab and didn’t have to wait long for it. Especially loved my Green curry!
Really superior food, complex flavours, well presented and charming attentive service. A little on the pricy side for a midweek dinner, £113 for two with two glasses of wine each but worth it.
Menu reduced and quality has dropped a lot from previous meals there
This is amazing Thai food.
The food is served hot.
It is obviously freshly made and fragrant.
An absolute brilliant place to eat.
My boyfriend is very picky regarding Thai food as he lived most of his life there. But the food was so authentic and delicious. I will definitely come back again. The service was amazing too, everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable.
Our go-to Thai restaurant: we are never disappointed and always leave feeling full but healthy.
First time at this branch what excellent and friendly service every but as good as the other branch. Very happy they may become my local sorry Soho lol
I had not been to Patara for a number of years. I live close by and it was a regular haunt for many years. I returned this evening and I was very disappointed. The food was very average. It is all other cooked and not at all like I remembered this favourite local gem. The green chicken curry at £14 had about 5 small pieces of chicken. The crab pad Thai was dry and the crab had been cooked for hours. It is not cheap. They need to improve as it has lot its ratings. Difficult times for restaurants an I hesitate to review this but honestly Patara improve. I won’t be back.
It was excellent dining. One of my favourite places. Food is delicious and staff is friendly and always makes me and my guests feel special.
Fine Thai dining - I was quite disappointed with the dishes - they are average in comparison to other Thai restaurants but at nearly double the price! The ambience is good, staff are very friendly and helpful.
Lovely lovely restaurant and service, best green chicken curry and Tom Yum in town
Poor quality food - felt like it was fried more than 2x. No flavour just oil.
Very disappointing food. Not worth the price tag at all.
Small, cramped and they delayed our booking with no explanation. I had to enquire why we were made to wait and standing.
Very pleasant staff. Varied menu and did a great job during pandemic.
Good authentic Thai foods and polite staff. Well organized for social distancing too. 100% satisfied!
Amazing service, amazing food and nice setting!
Wonderful food and friendly staff. Clean restaurant.
As an original Thai native person. I would say Patara is doing very good job on Thai dishes.
The taste was originally thai taste and value for the price as well. They also offer a Lunch menu which contain a starter and main dish.
The staff also friendly and polite, very helpful.
The place environment was nice, not so far from the tube station. Would love to go there again :)
We came for an anniversary meal as we have visited the Greek Street branch many times and always love the food and ambience. We were very disappointed with the ambience at South Kensington as this restaurant felt more like a cafe and the food was not of the same standard as the other branch at all!
Delicious food and He eat service. The cocktails were amazing too!
The food was delicious, however it was overpriced. The rice cost over £4 and there was not even enough for 1 curry. I felt this was disappointing as we all
Know the cost of rice.
The service was good, however, the food was disappointing; definitely didn’t get our money’s worth.
Excellent Thai flavours. Attentive service.
Would definitely recommend Patara 1 of my favourite restaurants food is very good , service is also good
Enjoyed our family dinner, food was tasty, portions were good. Overall cost worked out a £50 per head
Had a lovely dinner at patara. The food was delicious! It is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. I am looking forward to returning in the near future.
First visit to Patara (Fulham Road) after searching for a good Thai restaurant in West London. The service and food were excellent and this will now be our 'go to' Thai restaurant. We chose a main course prawn and a chicken dish (both excellent) but the manager suggested that next time she will choose for us - we accepted and will be back soon! RECOMMENDED!
Very good food, service was excellent but prices are too expensive spécially for wine
Me and my daughter visited the restaurant while stopping over in London for 2 nights and after reading the good reviews on the internet and we were not disappointed. My daughter loves Asian food which is why we visited and it was all amazing. We had the banquet for 2 people and all the flavours were excellent and you could taste all the fresh ingredients. The staff were all very attentive and friendly also - could not fault it. The only reason for the value for money score being lower is that I didn’t think the portion sizes were very big for the starters but maybe that’s just from being from Yorkshire 😂 Would recommend highly!!!
Away from all the noise and crowds of the museums, a lovely, light, authentic lunch. Good value for money.
Food portions too less for the price paid.Specially the starter platter.Secondly the meat was just added to the gravies and did not intigrate into the dish for the main course.Meat was bland.
Good set menu but slow to offer it - had to ask staff three times before it was given to us. Overall a slow working lunch
Consistently good food reasonably priced in Chelsea. Service is always good to excellent with attentive and friendly staff without the intrusiveness found in some establishments. One of my favourite Thai restaurants when back in London. Can become a little noisy when the restaurant is full but usually eay to have a conversation without straining to hear mid-week and at lunch-times. Often see Asian customers dining there which must be a positive sign.
Overall a very worthwhile evening. The highlight for me was the chicken pad thai. Top quality ingredients
which were plentiful and very well prepared. Also really good value at only GBP 13.50.
The prawn rice rolls which I had as a starter were also very fresh and well prepared-good texture although perhaps a little lacking in flavour.
I would also question the mark up on the wine. GBP 8.95 for a 250ml glass of Italian white seems a lot. Normally I would not expect to pay more than GBP 6.50 for the same quality and amount. Next time I will probably opt for the jasmine tea like my companion had.
But all in all a good find. We are sure to return.
We decided to go to that place regarding all good review. The food was ok but nice starters. It is expensive and not good value for money. Inside it was cold and we asked to basically close where the cold comes up but the waiter said I don’t know if we can close. Anyway so we felt cold all lunch and service too slow for even 2 tables. I won’t recommend it
As usual.....wonderful food! It is always so consistent.
I really loved the food. The only problem i had was that there was no cocktails as there was no ice. I felt like this was something they could of easily dealt with.
My meal was lovely but the rice that came with it was so small i had to order a second bowl. It was like they used an ice cream scoop to dis it out so i was very disappointed in that.
Overall i had a very nice meal.
Very good and high quality food, but *very* expensive given how small the portions are. Particularly the main curry dishes.
