Not going to go in detail on here however the quality of the food was very disappointing.
Good indian food - neatly balanced spices except for one dish which was a bit too much of potato mush with red chilly powder not properly done.
could do even better with a smaller menu - not sure you needed all that - after all the basics of most are the same building blocks of food - veering too much towards the "star of india" type try and cover all bases menu

I love this place, for a local restaurant the food is top notch. Some of the best vegetarian Indian food I have had. Staff are friendly and attentive without being annoying. Portions are a good size and the flavours in the food is amazing. Great place to go on a Friday or Saturday night with some mates.
Great menu, bursting with flavours
Lovely authentic indian restaurant. Portions are really big so great for sharing. It is on the pricey side, but luckily we had a deal (50% off eat out scheme) so it wasn't too bad in the end, but otherwise would have been £50 for two people for lunch with one soft drink.
Service was very good and tentative. Would love to come back.

We took some friends who hadn't been before - it was as good as we remembered and they loved it.
Lovely atmosphere brilliant service the place is small was quiet on the day we went we had lunch but chose to have a few mains and starters to share the food was absolutely delicious - I have been several Indian restaurant and this was by far one of the best definitely recommend.

We had thali and Railway grill and both were amazing.
We reserve the table but we had to wait a lot and in our table someone else was sitting waiting for their tables ! i had a spinal surgery and could not stand for long and my back was hurting !! finally some other table was empty we moved there ! if you book you must be sitting by the time you arrived not waiting for half hour !

A bit of a longer wait and we had the outside table though the weather was terrible due to the eat out to help out scheme. But the food is great as always and service was friendly.

The service was average, waiter asking us to order everything together! Ordered G&T and was given a glass of Gin and a can of Tonic, for me to open and pour. Food was average, there are better Indian places.

We have artisan gin at less than pub pricing. We are sorry the service and food were not to your expectations. We are usually compared with the best proper Indian restaurant out there and highly rated on our food and are happy to change dishes when suitable. We don't believe in average and truly disappointed.
