Founder, Puneet Wadhwani, has created a never-before-seen menu bringing to life the snacks and dishes he once ate as a child growing up within a bicycle ride of New Delhi train station
From rail side snacks, such as ‘girlfriend chaat,’ cooked on the platform and handed to travellers through the windows of passing trains, to the fragrant curries, such as, ‘rare ghost,’ cooked on board.

Great evening enjoyed by all. The main courses were great . The starters were good but I think that street food traditionally is made to your taste . The mixed grill was nice and good portion .
Pity no fish on the menu
It was noisy so if you are larger group difficult to hear conversation .
Slightly uncomfortable sitting on hard wooden benches - maybe a cushion would be good.
Overall - good food and will be going back
The food was interesting and excellent - like a good combination of Dishoom and Masala Zone. Friendly, fast service too.
We'll be back!
Very helpful staff. Food fantastic. Noise level very loud. Not somewhere to linger after a leisurely meal. Dinner is great but expect the whole experience to take 75 minutes max even with a couple of rounds of drinks,
Love the place and food was not bad but a bit on the expensive side.
This was the first time we had been to Patri. It was such a refreshing change from other Indian restaurants. The decor was extremely warm and attractive. The staff were most attentive and the chef came out to greet us - a first for us from an Indian restaurant. He told us that the menu will change over the months and showcase dishes from different parts of India. The dishes were delicious and not too sweet, as can be the case with Indian cuisine. There was an amazing selection of GF dishes, and, being GF, it meant I could order from almost all the menu. There was also a great selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The wine list was good and served in attractive glasses. The chilli heat of the dishes was well balanced. All in all, an extremely innovative and interesting addition to Northfield Avenue.
Fantastic food and interesting decor makes this something a bit different, however seating was very tight and unfortunately the service was very slow. No-one asked if we woudl like more drinks so they definitely missed out on drink sales.
Love this place which is local to us and great take on tradional indian
Great food and great service! The ambiance is great and the owner/ staff very attentive!
Lovely staff and interesting menu - delicious food
Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had in London! The paneer was delicious.
Loving the street food vibe, sharing plates but most of all the quality of the food here. Not great ambience, but outstanding food and unique style for the area
We absolutely loved this place. I tried booking several times before and finally we got a booking. The only gripe we had was we arrived at 6.55 for a 7pm booking and had to wait for a table ( although there were empty tables around) the booking system isn't ideal.
But they made up for ths, by offering two large glasses of vino of o9ur choice on the house.
Now the food, wow, it was amazing and so worth the wait. I look forward to our next visit
Food was delicious and original, service was great, lovely ambience and I can't wait to go back
Excellent food, service was great. They reccomnwded a excellent drink to go with the food choice we made. Also child friendly. The sweet potato chips were a good healthy option for kids. My daughter loved them.
Outstanding restaurant. Great food. Great Service.
Great service, amazing tasting food, lots of variety and a lovely decor, will definitely be coming back!
Fab food, fab drinks, fab ambiance. We're so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant on our doorstep!
All was great. Nice to have a change from the usual and this was certainly very different in a good way. Very friendly service. Lots of choice. Would definitely recommend
Good experience and nostalgic ambience. Please bring daal bati back to the menu.
New concept of Indian food in Ealing. This is a must try for the Street food. BUT you must ask for help with the menu to get the best out of your visit.
Will certainly go back ..remember to book..it is very busy and deserves to be
Great food, great atmosphere. Indian food with a modern twist.ovely!
Great place. Food absolutely met expectations. Lovely menu and helpful staff. Restaurant is small so booking is essential and have timed sittings. Will be back!
Terrific menu, great service. Very busy and crowded, hardly any space between tables.
Excellent food great atmosphere and service. Great choice of food and drinks felt very welcoming
A gorgeous addition to Ealing. I took my 12 yr old son out for dinner and we had the meat thali as a main and some puri balls to start and a couple of Karma Colas. The decor was fabulous, the staff friendly and efficient and the food was more than enough for the two of us. Will definitely go back and try the cocktails with the girls
Delicious, innovative food. Staff attentive and knowledgeable. Great food at reasonable prices.
Second time here as good as the first, tried a load of other dishes and all very good - particularly the banjara chicken and daal makhani. New kids menu was a hit with our 3 year old and the staff handled my wife’s nut allergy impeccably. Great food and a really friendly atmosphere, will definitely be back again soon.
SO lucky to have this new neighbourhood restaurant on our doorstep - amazing food, really friendly service.
Amazing ... one of the best in London
Table mix up so had to wait half and hour for a free table, but well with it, will definitely be coming back soon
Great experience, food was delicious. Menu is completely different to any other Indian restaurant in the area, but all the better for it!! Great concept, great service and great restaurant overall
A lovely meal from start to finish. Staff friendly and welcoming. The menu is very different to the usual Indian fare, not knowing the dishes we decided to take the scatter gun approach and order randomly. Not one dish disappointed. Will definitely be returning. It’s quite a small restaurant though so definitely recommend reserving a table.
First of all- the food was amazing!! I have eaten a fair number of Indian dinners (including in India) and I thought everything we ordered was beautifully flavoured and very well prepared. The overall experience is a little unique in that it is a small restaurant and can feel a little busy but to be fair Patri doesn't pretend otherwise and it's busy because the food is soooo good!! The staff were all very helpful, particularly useful as the menu isn't as clear as it could be on the size of each choice and I think we would've over ordered without the help. There was a little sense of newness in terms of some of the background organising but in all honesty I think that will settle down and I'll be back and give them 5 stars no doubt.
Great friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of vegan meals. Very tasty
Went for a birthday for a friend and found the food to be really good. Not a typical Indian restaurant with usual food choices, there were dishes we never had and cooked really well, right amount of spice, highly recommend this place.
Really interesting food selection. Not your average ‘pick you meat and choice of sauce’ curry house, excellent selection of interesting foods. Good choice of craft beers too.
Really innovative restaurant with great dishes to try. It's a relaxed setting with neat interiors. Well worth visiting - we certainly plan to go back
An amazing find. my second trip to Patri Artisan and I intend to make it my only Indian spot in London (I drive 55 minutes to get there), so you can imagine the burst of flavours that would make me do this drive. The chef has got it spot on, and with a quirky and rustic Soho style atmosphere, this gem should give the top indian restaurants in central London a run for its money. The chef knows how to put authentic Indian flavours (NOT usual greasy spice served up in mny joints) and specialises in Rajasthani and North Indian cuisine. A definitive go to and should get some awards pretty quickly at this rate!
Unusual Indian cuisine, generally spicy, very delicious. Extensive choice of good beers, decent wine list.
Very busy quite soon after opening, but service handled very efficiently. The only negative feedback I have is that the music was too loud. The restaurant was full and noisy - it really didn't need the music to make it even more difficult to have a conversation. Turn the music down a bit, guys, when it starts getting busy.
Loved the amazing food for both its quality and variety. We couldn’t decide do the waiter just brought our party of five a selection. Lovely Chaat and railway and platform mixed grills, beautiful butter chicken and monkfish, aromatic lamb ghost. We booked for 6pm- restaurant was absolutely full by 7pm. Lively, friendly casual atmosphere.
Food arrived swiftly once ordered but sometimes waiting staff were a bit slow to take orders and clear away table- on a couple of occasions I resorted to waving my arm in the air to attract attention.
Overall very happy with the dining experience though and definitely intend to visit again.
