Consistently one of the best meals in Condado. Menu has the been the same for about a year now and could stand an update or at least some specials.
Great food and great service
About four dishes were not available. Service between courses extremely slow. Removal of plates between courses slow.
One of the best Brunches I've had. The “acerola” mimosa is a must. Will come back!
It was the first day of a new menu for this farm to table gourmet restaurant. The food was worth the wait and required reservation. Their new La Paleo dish had thick pieces of bacon, but the grilled beet appetizer was by far our favorite dish.
As always, this place doesn’t disappoint. We went back for brunch and everything was delicious. The pozole was great. Passion fruit mimosas were amazing. I had the chilaquiles and my companion had the steak baguette, which is a kind of a version of the mexican torta ahogada. Both dishes were really good. We also bought a whole chocolate mini cake. We tried it at home, also really good.
Great place. Went with my husband and he had a great time too. Food was incredible as usual. Always come back!
If you want to be pleasantly surprised with amazing food and friendly service, this is the place to go! Love it!
We have been to Paulina Escanes for brunch. This is the first time we’ve been there for dinner.
As for the food: we had the corn cake with pork as an appetizer. It was delicious. The combination of sweet and salty was out of this world.
As main dish we had the one of each tacos and the amalfi fish.
The tacos: Awesome. Delicious. The torrilla was spot on. The crunchyness of the pork was delicious. And the lentils taco was my favorite!! One of the tacos had a blue corn tortilla, it was a nice touch.
The amalfi fish: was very soft and juicy! Excelent choice if you are looking for seafood.
For dessert we had the basco cheesecake and the lemon pie. They were both spot on! Awesome desserts. They were so good we took one to go.
Cocktails: we had Margaritas and “la reina” -
The margarita waas a bit sour, but the lemon was real lemon, not that sour mix thing that some places use. I drankt it all right but my companion wanted to ask for a bit of sugar or simple sirope.
The La Reina is a spirit forward drink. It packa a whole bucn of mezcal so prepare for that.
Overall a great experience
Will be back!
Awesome food!! Really great prices. The acerola mimosa was delicious.
We ordered the Pozole. As entree It was amazing.
Also had the pancakes - soft fluffy delicious and moist they were perfect I could eat them without maple.
My companions had the tomato quiche they said it was really good.
I’ll be back for this brunch.
I was told that Ofertones would be sending the 15% discount for future visit. Let me know. Everything was great!
Excellent as usual! We go pretty often, this time we brought guest from US and Lebanon and they were amazed by your place! Cheers for Paulina!
The food was very good . The brunch is one of the best I have had anywhere . There is talent in that kitchen . The price was fair . The service was very attentive . I certainly will recomend it to friends an I plan to return .
The best brunch in town and the service was amazing!
I like the place a lot . The food is excellent and the reataurant is a very good value . I specially like the brunch .
Great place, service and food! Always go with my girlfriends for brunch!
My 3rd time at the restaurant, this time for Brunch. Exquisite Lamb Sliders and Salmon.
Amazing place, brunch was absolutely delicious
Everything was perfect!! Highly recommend. Make reservation!
Excellent! I totally recommend this place. The experience is great. This is the second time I visit this restaurant and expect further visits for sure.
One of the best restaurants have eaten at in world. We try to eat at one internationally ranked place when we travel - Bangkok, Brussels, etc. From the caramelized smoky almost candy flavor of the pork and the softest octopus, or the desserts of fresh sweet cheese in homemade baked to order puff pastry well worth the wait, Santaella’s was a jewel. Elegant food, superb service yet not stuffy. It is no wonder this place requires reservations off season on weekdays!
The food was great, the service takes too long, although very attentive. The restaurant was full.
Excellent service, great food, lovely ambiance. Selection of natural juices was a great surprise. The food selection for brunch had a little for everyone. Must try de pancakes.
This place never disappoints. Food itself is OUT of this WORLD. Service AMAZING. And the few times I've seen the chef she has made me feel right at home.
Excellent food and service.
The carnitas tacos and torte are delicious and the lemon pie is delectable.
Regresamos pronto. ¡Enhorabuena!
Excellent food and attention!
I really like Gourmandize because the chef is so talent although the friday night the service was very slow they forgot my apettizer . We wait for the appetizers @40 min . The food menu of the restaurant week was not the best and looks like done in a fast way ....
i hope it will go back to the traditional effort and quality in the food.
Our table wasn’t ready even when we did reservation with Open Table because that was the only option left after calling, we notify in the reservation the Puerto Rico Restaurant Week Event and the waiter didn’t know anything about that menu or event, we spent 15 minutes in a table without service and didn’t know who our server was, just the menu on the table... the table set was for 2 even when we ask for 3 people reservation, we need to ask to be served after been tired and considered to leave the restaurant, the food was good but the Chilaquiles were just scrambled eggs without chorizo and the corn chips... the waiter was confused and asked if we have an Oferton/Gustazo... this wasn’t our first experience at the restaurant but he experience overall drop our expectations... advice treat every customer without considering their appearance or clothes because you never know, and anyway every customer needs to be treated fairly
Great experience in the Condado area. The food is perfect to share with people and get to try different things. Recommended!
The food and the service were sensational.
The pozole was amazing
I love this restaurant, but on this visit the service was terrible. We expected to have to wait for our food because the restaurant was full, but the plates did not arrive at the same time. So, I ordered the Chilaquiles with avocado and the avocados appeared like 30 mins after the chilaquiles with a poor appearance. The mimosas arrived after we ate everything, so yes we had to eat our food without them. The food is really great e, but if the service continues like this, it will not be worthy to visit.
Best brunch in all of San Juan. Get the chilaquiles.
Very unique place with nice alternatives for foodies. Tacos and desserts are amazing!
