The service was very slow. They kept forgetting my order. Then taking another while to retrieve it. Also, the out door patio isn’t all heated. So if you book an appointment be prepared to sit in the cold.

Server was a bit of a dick. He seemed generally annoyed with our presence the entire time. No clue what we did other than order drinks and food. I’m disappointed in my self for tipping him so well considering his attitude.

Good patio for outdoor dining. Booking via OpenTable ensures that you get a table every visit.

Service was great, patio is pretty and well-spaced.

Made a reservation but we had to wait in this huge line full of all other people who also made reservations. They obviously overbooked, which was extremely unprofessional.

I love Paupers Pub.

I've been going to Paupers for years and have always had a great experience. The staff are always friendly and warm, the food is tasty and the drinks are solid. No matter how many times COVID-19 restriction rules have changed, these guys have been able to adapt and offer a safe and welcoming environment for their customers. I plan to come back to this pub for many years to come.

We had to wait in line for our reservation, so were seated 15 minutes late. 45 minutes later, we were given our “half hour warning” that we were only allowed to be there for 90 minutes. I would not have reserved here knowing this. They managed to extend it so we could order food as planned, but it felt rushed and uncomfortable. I ended up making a reservation elsewhere, which I was almost late for, as the server pretty much abandoned us for a while (they apparently were having difficulty with their machines). I had to leave my credit card with my friends so I didn’t miss my other reservation, then sat at a table by myself for 20 minutes elsewhere before they finally settled the bill. An overall annoying experience. It’s too bad, I liked the table, if we had just been able to sit at it and order drinks and food for the evening, this rating would be very different!

Very good! Maybe offer some coolers like Smirnoff Ice but other than that I had a great time! Would definitely come again!

They were great. They seated us at a table under a heater which made dining pleasant.

The food was horrible, clearly it was frozen and just been heated up. The wings, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwich had freezer burn marks on them. The drinks were horrible, the $13 sangria was just juice and ice. Also, they did not have a table reserved and we had to wait.

Booked a table 2 days in advance for dinner, got seated on the upper deck of a cold freezing patio with no heater, called the manager to inquire if there were any tables we could move to in the heated section and his response was, "Get into the spirit and wear a cap these tables were on a first come first serve basis" to which I said I had booked on Wednesday. Drank 2 beers in the freezing cold and left. Horrid customer service and a rude manager.

We were able to have a table yesterday as it was warm-no heating required.

I hope to return many times, and trust you will allow the two of us to be seated at
11:00 am when things are less busy.

Nice old tradition, having snacks and a beer at Pauper's. Many more years of it, I hope!

Don't order the Fish and Chips. The fish was a mushy piece inside a grease soaked thick batter coating. Left me feeling ill the rest of the evening.

Good vibe but drinks were weak the the food lacked flavour

Our local pub which we do not visit often but we had a decent experience. The food is standard and we had no complaints. The other wait staff seemed to be more interested in our table than our actual server. We are not alcohol drinkers and we understand that the large portion of income is through alcohol consumption of patrons so we kind of assumed our waiter was not interested in us for that reason. Other than that, we will keep this pub in mind for the future.

Very cheery greeting, quick run-through on the Vivid rules & off to our table. Yummy food all around, though the boys would have been happier with a little more smoke on their butter chicken, but that's subjective.

Excellent Covid safety standards. Excellent food and lovely service. Have the grilled cheese three ways!

Food was really great. We have the butter chicken and chicken sandwich. Both amazing. Breaded fries not my favourite.

Food is okay. Great venue. Most staff are friendly however watch out for cranky bartender and staff trying to rush you out.

The Cocktails had no liquor, it was just flavoured water hence we switched to beer later. The food was also below average. And lastly they asked us and few more tables to leave at 10:30pm when there were no other people waiting for the table and the place closes at 2am and that was the main reason we opted for this place.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Always a blast! Great food, great staff, great patio

Nice rooftop patio and good atmosphere in the Annex area. Good for casual drinks after work. Food is a little overpriced considering the quality (i.e. not bad, but pretty standard pub fare).

Everything was ok. Nothing was out of the ordinary. They sat us in an ugly corner and the waiter took soooo long to serve us. And food took about 30min. I read so many reviews and wanted to check it out.. since we were passing by from Montreal. Very disappointed.

The food was served hot. Everything was delicious except the dessert was very dry. Service was excellent.

Had a great rooftop drink with friends. Staff were fantastic and deserve raises. Highly recommended.

Their Mojito was was not tasty. The roof top patio was good, but the food and drinks are nothing extraordinary.

The roof patio was a great place to relax with drinks and food. Staff was very polite and our server offered useful recommendations with excellent service.

Excellent experience from the very beginning. Due to COVID-19 concerns, my friend was nervous about being in a restaurant but we felt so comfortable. The gentleman at the front door who greeted us was super respectful and accommodating and our server on the top patio was awesome. Would absolutely recommend for a great patio with good food & drinks.

The food was pretty good but the only thing that I found was that it was really greasy. It took a long time to digest and I felt pretty horrible due to all the grease.

The roof top patio has a really nice ambience and is not noisy at all. Would recommend

I really enjoy the upstairs patio. The service is amazing. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is great. I really enjoy their burgers and salads. Definitely not just regular pub food.

Just annoyed as they seemed to be putting people with reservations in less desirable areas than the walk ins. Sort of ruins the point of making a reservation! Other than that it was good.

Great patio and good social distancing observed. In addition, waitrons were constantly checking whether we are good with food and drinks!

Nice outdoor patio at street level. Perfect for a warm day.

The fries were floppy not crispy ( oil not hot enough, or food sat under the heat lamps for too long ) Had fish and chips and wings, both fries were the same.
