Was rather disappointed by menu selection and availability of certain dishes.
Service was ok but could of been better.
Food available was very nice though.
This was our third visit and it was quite underwhelming. The waitress was not great. She would walk near our table when we were trying to make eye contact because there was no salt, the wine hadn't arrived, then there were no wine glasses and walk straight past. If she had been at all busy we would've understood, but it was a very quiet Sunday night.
Our scampi entrees sat on the pass for more than five minutes while the waitress chatted to the bartender, even though they were not busy. She didn't even wish me a happy birthday.
The food was okay, but not great. We ordered bread, oysters, scampi, granita refreshments, a seafood platter, cocktails, a bottle of wine and desserts (with a dessert wine) and nothing was great. We didn't even get the bottle of wine until the seafood platter arrived. The sides came out a long time after the seafood platter and even though the potatoes were great we really wanted salt and had to wait again. There was no dressing at all on the pear salad.
Each time the waitress brought something to our table she would suddenly realise she hadn't cleared dishes which had been left sitting for 10-20 minutes. She also dropped cutlery and then took it away, forgetting to replace it. There was no finger bowl and only two prawns on the whole platter.
We would much rather eat here and get an uber home than go into the city but spending over $400 for a not that great evening means we prefer going into the city and paying for a hotel room in future. So disappointing!
Quite an amazing night very happy with the food and service will come again thank you very much for the lovely night
Went to Peca for my wifes birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended
My second time there and loved it. nice and quiet, great food. brilliant experience
High quality food, great wine, excellent service and beautiful decor
Disappointing - three entrees of five/six options were not available reportedly due to them being seasonal.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Good location with convenient parking. Will definitely return for another visit.
Fabulous food and dining experience. Love everything about Peca
Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, little pricey, my dessert wasn’t great I spoke to the waiter, the manager came straight over and offered me s new dessert and a complimentary drink from the bar.
Took a while for dessert to come out and the dessert was dry and didn’t taste very good.
Peca was a lovely place. Enjoyed my Bday dinner with family and friends. The service was excellent! And the food was delicious. A bit pricey but worth it.
Great atmosphere, fantastic food, great wine selection. Service was good and it is great for a quite indulgent meal.
Decor is really nice but the food was outstanding. I had the lamb shoulder with mushroom risotto & my wife had the seafood pasta. All food we ate exceeded expectation and couldn't fault a thing.
Exceptional food, matched with exceptional service. Very reasonably priced when taking into account the overall experience.
The service was average right from the start. Sat in the bar area while they got our table ready for a 7.30 sitting. 25 mins later, finally seated. No offer of drinks, and barely acknowledged. Felt we had to wave staff if we needed anything, drinks etc. Entree not cleared and about a 45 min wait for mains, then when they came out, they were taken away as the table hadn't been cleared. They were then near cold when they were returned.
We didn't bother with dessert.
I wont be rushing back.
Travelled from the eastern suburbs to visit and would make the trip anytime.
It is amazing!!! The staff are as good as the food. I cannot fault
Began the meal with the Aranchini starters - these were beautiful. Then had the seafood platter - one of the worst I have ever eaten. The scampi and snapper were over cooked, the prawns were not de-vained, the blue swimmer crab was inedible - it must have been sitting in ice for ages because the meat was the consistency of paste and water poured out of it when we picked it up. There were no clams (just shells) in the bowl - they must have still been in the pot in the kitchen. We were not even offered a finger bowl or hand towel, to clean our hands. It was an expensive, and very underwhelming platter.
The chocolate fondant was nice - could have done with a bit more ice cream.
The Aperol Spritz was the palest I have ever seen - another splash of Aperol please.
Little disappointed that majority of the menu was unavailable. Ordered the pasta and it was majority of fat rather than meat.
Have been to Peca before and it was great, but this was quite disappointing.
Took a long time for dinks to come out. An hour from when we arrived. Given what we thought was complimentary bread and olives for the slow service but were on our bill even though we didn’t ask for them. Food was lovely and venue looks great so real shame about the service
The atmosphere was great, very nice and relaxing for a night out without the kids but the food did not meet our expectations at all . We ordered the seafood platter for 2 and for $180 it was very poorly presented , hardly anything on it with no flavour or anything special about it at all.
Would never order this again or recommend it . Side fries were cheap $2 fries I get from Maccas with a whole lot of salt, it was not editable and side salad was a bowl of rocket with no flavour.
Entree zucchini flowers were great though.
For a dinner of 2 cost over $300 and very disappointing .
Enjoy the vibe though
Great food and service, we always enjoy dining at Peca
Friendly professional staff. Beautiful presentation and vibe of all details in the restaurant. Wine menu is good. Food was lovely. Will be back.
Certain dishes were very average with not much flavour. Great interior design but we went for the food which didn’t live up to expectation.
Great food, great atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic and very attentive. Such a lovely venue. Thank you
Amazing food, great service and a stunning display of Interior Design.
Excellent. Love the fine dining experience. Looking forward to many more experiences
Always good, Anthony and his team always go above and beyond for there clients!
The seafood platter at$180 was discraceful no shell bowl no nut cracker was provided had to use my teeth to break crab legs ,lucky we got a bowl of chips ,had to top up with a sandwich when we got home ,not sure what the company is trying to achieve but the dinner cost me $216 does not even come close to other resturants offering a seafood platter ,lucky we had a voucher, will not be back
Limited entree’s limited mains as they had ran out, noisy as some function was going on, our table was too dark.Oysters were nice though.
I believe this is a fairly new restaurant so there were some teething issues we experienced, for example very very very slow table service we waited about 15mins for some water they messed up our drink order a couple of times and forgot to bring us the menu we had asked for, I don’t believe there were enough staff on. There was a function on with a DJ so it was so loud in the restaurant, therefore staff had mixed up drinks.
The positives for us were the staff were very friendly, and the food was AMAZING !!! We would definitely go back but maybe not on a busy night!
Good food, slow, poor customer service and overall bad experience which took away from the good food of what should have been an enjoyable night of celebration.
Rang to make a reservation - said none available.
Went online, said heaps available. There was at least 2 tables empty while we were there the entire time.
Please check your bill, we were overcharged $25.00.
My husbands henessey and lemonade was charge at $40!
Got charged for still water which never even arrived.
Had to follow up twice over 3 days to get an answer as to why the bill was wrong. Rang the first time, was brushed off the phone. Staff said bill was right, and computer totalled the price. After we both added it together the staff member couldn't understand why the bill was out, even though the computer said it was $25.00 more than it should have been.
Rang the second time to find out what was going on and to complain, mid complaint was put on hold for 5 minutes before the person returning to the phone and greeting me as if I was a new customer ringing up. Poor excuse was made.
2 of the mains were unavailable when we went, only option was seafood or spatchcock which was disappointing.
Reservation online said reservation is only for 1.5 hours. We were there 2 hours and only got entree and main, didn't end up getting time for dessert or coffee as we waited so long for our mains and had to get to our movie. Asked staff if we would be able to get a dessert in the next 15-20 mins or so and couldn't get a definite answer.
Overall, dinner was nice and food was yum. Service was slow and poor. We have dined at a lot of high end restaurants but given the location and for the price of the meals I would expect much better service. We usually go into the city but went local today and honestly it would have been better value to drive into the city. Much better service and experience. I wouldn't feel comfortable to dine again given the experience. Poor experience for a Birthday Celebration.
I would recommend this fantastic restaurant to anybody that wants the best quality food and service in the greater Campbelltown Narellan area try and you will be wrapped
Will be back to try the full menu. Great first experience.
I've been there on multiple occasions. It's always been a very enjoyable experience. Great food, great service. Antonio is a great host too.
My husband and I were completely impressed ! We will be back soon
The food and service at Peca was amazing. Wait staff were very attentive but not intrusive. The extensive wine list explained the underlying notes and flavours of reds and whites and also suggested pairings with different food items on the menu.
Unfortunately our experience was unpleasant due to be charged for items we did not order. Service was rushed and the restaurant appeared to be understaffed.
We booked for a Christmas lunch last Sunday. When booking we had the option of sitting inside or outside and we chose inside. When we arrived we were advised that there was a function on inside and we had to eat outside. We weren't happy about this as it was a really hot day and there was a fair bit of smoke from the bushfires. Having no option we sat outside. There was no fans so the air under the veranda was very hot and still, making it uncomfortable. Several other groups arrived to also find they had no choice to sit outside, however their complaints must have been more valid than ours as two of these groups were allowed to sit inside, something we weren't offered. Once the food came out we were inundated with flies. All of our meals had flies landing in them so we spent our meal trying to swat them out of the way. It was so annoying that we left half of our meal and didn't stay for dessert. It was a real shame because the food was delicious. We had the seafood platter for two and the scampi, none of which we could fault. I would happily recommend this place for the food but maybe not so much for the seating arrangements/booking system.
-bad experience for seafoodlover.
-ordered lemon limebitter. they were mixed with soda water. tastless. charged $7.
-seafood platter was dried. tastless. no dressing . crab was so stink. should have done alot better for price they charged.
