Staff were rude, I requested a cake and the manager said they can’t do special requests which is fair enough but she was really rude about it.
Then when the staff asked whether we wanted desserts and we declined, she snatched the menu from the table.
Food overpriced and the staff were rude. Really disappointed.
Beautiful food! Great service
Really lovely, helpful staff. We arrived early and they were happy to seat us straightaway. Nothing was any trouble, we had such a lovely time.
Such a lovely pretty place to eat. Everything looks delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food is slightly over priced for what it is but the whole experience is lovely and I will definitely be going back
Lovely food. Staff very helpful but problems with ordering system meant service was very slow. As we had another event to go on to we couldn’t stay to sample everything we wanted to.
The Land of Sweets afternoon tea exceeded expectations. The sandwiches were all very fresh and the cakes and scones were delicious. The service was great. A very memorable way to spend my 30th birthday!
This was my first time visiting Peggy Porschen - and it was worth the wait. The food was divine and the interior decorations were amazing. Such a lovely experience to visit
We had a wonderful family brunch at Peggy Porschen. Customer service and food was wonderful. We will be back on our next vacation to the UK.
A lovely place with great service. However found the menu over priced!
Unfortunately more hype than it is actually worth. The tea was nice but unfortunately we received 2 very dry slices of cake that were overwhelmingly sweet (supposed to be rose, lemon and raspberry flavour but could only taste overly sweet lemon) and we had 2 macaroons that again lacked any flavour. Our bill for this was £27- honestly felt like a waste of money, the staff were lovely but it seems there is too much emphasis on decor and not very much attention going into the food being produced. Will not be returning. A few hundred metres down the road there is a smaller cafe called Maitre Choux- the most exquisite pastry you can consume (it is also a lot more challenging to make than sponge cake) we went there a few hours later and spent only £18 and the standard was a whole other level and yet the decor was still beautiful so they demonstrated that aesthetics can be balanced with the quality and taste of the baked-good.
Tables very close together and asked to move but wasn’t possible. So felt uncomfortable and on hindsight should have left.
Underwhelmed by very expensive experience. Expected more.
The food is delicious but the service is more then bad , no smile , no manners very very bad I will not visit them again because of the service
Gorgeous breakfast with my daughters. Why would anyone eat a hotel breakfast when they can eat hear, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and delicious food. We will be back.
Lovely place. Food and drinks were delicious. Great service.
Very disappointed: when Instagram overrates a place just because of how it looks. Besides the decoration, everything else needs a lot of improvement.
Treated ourselves (3 ladies) to a Xmas treat of festive afternoon tea at the Chelsea parlour. Couldn’t fault it - service was very professional, attentive and friendly, really lovely xmas atmosphere in the parlour and delicious sandwiches and sweet treats, such good value for money. I had been in the summer so this was a second visit and it lived up to my first visit. My friends loved it too and we will definitely return again.
My friend and I had a lovely time. The food was really good and the cakes lived up to every expectation. It was the prettiest place and we both enjoyed every second. The takeaway cake service was also incredibly good. I will definitely be visiting again
Good but not exactly service with a smile
We had bruch to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were super impressed with the quality of service and food. The cafe is decorated beautifully. Overall it was a 5 star experience. Thank you very much.
Amazing place to visit, afternoon tea was amazing. Great value for money and the cakes tasting delicious
After following Peggy Porschen on Instagram for a couple of years, my daughter and I finally fulfilled our dream of sitting down in the gorgeously pink Chelsea location. The experience was beyond all expectations. From the whip cream-topped chai latte to the "living on the veg" sandwich to the "speculoos" cake (one of four desserts we ordered--all delicious), it was a taste explosion. I can't wait to take my new granddaughter in years to come to Peggy Porschen for all our special occasions.
We had the light brunch although tasty was such small portions and the service was terrible. Took 15 mins to even get menu. All our hot drinks were cold and we had to ask twice to get a replacement.
Cakes are ok. Not worth the visit and probably won’t be going again!
Your place is so popular and my Turkish guests been so happy with your food and place , BUT your staff was little bit mess not so bad but would be better .
Good food and nice atmosphere, but the service was not good. Had to go and ask for menus ourselves.
I will have to say that I was disappointed of this place. I was really looking forward to this place specially because it was my daughter birthday. Yet from the moment I walk in the staff seem fluster and not an ease. Instead they looked stress because they had a big party downstairs (which was their priority). Manager seem also lack of control since she was yelling in front of us to her staff ( in special to her one Asian staff). Regarless of what was going with them or her restaurant - we as the PAYING customers shouldn't have to ear about it or see it. Specially when you are telling them right in front of the customers. We ask for another table ( there were two tables available, yet she said that it was not available bc they had party of 9 people, which later then only show up 5 people. The table could have giving to us and we probably could have finish by the time those people show up. The server came with the order and she forgot silverware and napkins. Honestly, IS NOT What I expected for the price and location. My daughter 7 birthday was ruined. I would consider another place or take the cakes to GO!!!
Great time, however you have the table for two hours which is fine, but we were asked to vacate the table just after an hour and a half and felt rushed out by the staff.
The food is just as gorgeous as the place itself and the staff are lovely! Will definitely come again.
Lovley decor and atmosphere, great staff. Breakfast was very tasty.
This was our first visit to Peggy Porschen, and we absolutely loved it! The Christmas decor was stunning, and the food was fabulous! The service was very good, and we can’t wait to go again!
This place is beautiful. The food, service and atmosphere were all perfect. We will definitely return the next time we are in London! Well worth a visit!!
Really amazing place! Amazing food! Lovely atmosphere! Gorgeous cake and great prosecco too! Thank you to all the staff who did an amazing job on sorting my birthday plans to a T! I had a great time with my 7 friends and everything was on time and It was so chilled and relaxed there.
Thank you so much!!!
Staff are very attentive. Food was very nicely presented. Glad I chose this venue.
The ambiance is was good...It's not that busy. Service is good
Vanila rooibos tea was just amazing and Christmas cake fab but small size.
All food looks outstanding, very nice warm place with beautiful decorations. Definitely will come again ❤️
What can I say. From the moment we walked in, we were very impressed with the whole experience. They moved us to a table of our choice, the service was outstanding nothing seemed like too much trouble and the food was just amazing. The venue was very clean and was decorated with a lovely Christmas theme. We will definitely go again.
We had finished our main course and they asked us to clear the table when we wanted dessert. It is not professional at all! And food not the best one! You pay the place but not the service and the food quality.
Eating at Peggy’s is always a wonderful experience. Their cakes are outstanding, flavourful and beautifully decorated. Even their savoury menu is incredible. Yes, they are on the pricey side, but it is totally worth it in my opinion. The service is often very good. And let’s not forget how gorgeous both the exterior and interior of this place is!
4:30 and there was nothing to choose from the menu as all the delicious were over :( . Sure not come back !
The food was so yummy! I wish we could afford to come more often!
