Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome. When the opportunity to open there own restaurant arose that jumped at the opportunity and opened the first Piccolo Arancio in Rome Piccolo Arancio became internationally acclaimed within their first year. Now operated by their cousins, Piccolo Arancio remains near the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
Both restaurants produce award-winning cuisine and continue to receive high honors and awards.

We had our Valentines meal after the big days of the weekend and everything was superb.
We always love Peppercorns and this time was no exception. Kudos to the whole staff.
Place was very very crowded due to the holiday but food was amazing as usual.
Very busy night but Peppercorns delivered for our business meeting. Everything was delicious as usual, service impeccable, and a great selection of Italian and California wines on their wine list. My clients loved everything and can’t wait to come back.
Had dinner valentines weekend. Food was awesome as usual, even though very crowded that night. Servers did a great job. Valentine menu selections were on top of the regular menu. We had several different entrees and all were very good .

Absolutely horrible Valentine’s Day experience. Would never ever recommend coming here on a holiday. Food took around 2 hours, for a reservation that was at 8:30 PM when the restaurant was half empty. One of the meals was entirely a pre fixed choice while the other was a pasta dish, no substitutes or changes were made that could have complicated the dish. Patrons nearby who ordered the literal exact same option or similar options were served first, despite being seated after. Waiter was kind and really did try his best to be attentive, but the kitchen was so slow it was actually unbelievable. My girlfriend and I didn’t even feel up to eating by the time the food was delivered, due to how late/long it had been. Food was okay, but definitely not worth the wait on a holiday/special occasion. Also, fairly sure they shut the heat off while we were still there, which shows how backed up they were.
Six of us had gone for Valentine’s Day, the food was amazing with the amount of people there they did a great job spacing out the timing of the food. I’d definitely go back again!
Girls Valentine’s dinner out. Food was amazing but a little pricey and very slow. 7:45 reservation but we did not leave until after 11 due to slow service. We were not in a rush and had a great time but be aware if you’re looking to get in and out

Pleasant atmosphere and our waitress Denise was fantastic. Portions were fair and not overly generous as one would expect of a finer dining establishment. Even so, there leftovers to go home with. The food was fresh, delicious and extremely satisfying from appetizers to salads to main course and dessert. All in all a very pleasant and worthwhile dining experience.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Peppercorn's. We had planned an evening at the Bushnell and then made a reservation but the show ended a good hour before planned. Peppercorns had literally just started serving dinner but they were able to accommodate us. Our server Jose was wonderful- he gave us the right amount of attention while letting us enjoy our meal and was just very pleasant overall to speak with. The atmosphere was simple but elegant and the noise level was just right. The food was much like the atmosphere- simply prepared but fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the gnocchi bolognese while hubby had the ravioli di giorno. We had the zucchini blossoms and artichoke hearts for appetizers and then the molten chocolate cake for dessert. The pistachio martini was perfect and they kept our water refilled without asking while Jose gave us plenty of bread for dipping. Overall, Peppercorns was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.

Went for resturant week . pulpo ceviche appetizer very good, might have benefited from a little pepper. Tiramisu very good. Pasta with truffles excellent. Sole was mediocre.

The food was overall delicious, some people’s food was not warm though when it came out. We would have sent it back to be warmed up, but the service was pathetic. We waiting 40 minutes to order our drinks and then about 20 to order our food. We worried if we sent it back, it would have taken forever to get it back. The restaurant was busy, but there were empty tables around us.

All members of our group of seven people were highly satisfied with our evening at peppercorns. The food was extraordinary and the portions were a good size. Our waiter was professional, attentive, and cordial. The ambiance is a reserved elegance and the quiet atmosphere allowed us to hear one another well. I recommend to the highest level possible a dinner at peppercorns. Their Happy Hour is outstanding also.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent and we were at the restaurant during a restaurant week with a reasonably priced fixed price menu.
The food at the Peppercorn is always great, though the chef needs to work on upping the flavor of the broth in which the mussels are cooked. However, the last few times I have dined at this restaurant, the waitstaff has been a bit disappointing. Sunday was a quiet evening at the restaurant, yet our waitress could have been more attentive.
They did not receive our Open Table reservation but were able to seat us anyway.

We went before a show at the Bushnell. It is a short walk to the theater from the restaurant and the waiter was accommodating to ensure we were out in plenty of time. We had a salad special to start (Holly berry or something holiday-themed). It was delicious! There were pomegranate seeds, meandering oranges, goat cheese, walnuts, etc. It was plated beautifully too. We mentioned we were splitting the salad and the waiter had them split the salad in the kitchen - I love that extra touch.

My husband and I went for dinner prior to The Bushnell. For appetizers we had specials. I had the best pasta fagiole soup I’ve ever had. The broth was thick and creamy. He had a special salad that he enjoyed. I had spinach ricotta ravioli with an orange sauce. It was delicious. Not sweet at all. He had fettuccine Bolognese which he Loved. Both of our pasta were cooked perfectly. Too full for dessert unfortunately. Great meal.
