The food was tasty but too salty. It was my mistake too. I should have requested low salt. The service was excellent!
My 3rd visit to Peregrine but my first over a weekend. Wonderful, leisurely 2.5 hour brunch. The menu is somewhat limited - but inspired and delicious. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
Absolutely love this underrated restaurant. The food is really exceptional and the menu is always current. We started with cocktails by the fire, then dined on focaccia with anchovies, salt cod brandade, and smoked scallops, all of which went perfectly with the bottle of chardonnay that the bartender helped us select. Peregrine is one of our favorite restaurants for a romantic date.
We were so happy to be a cosy spot for you that chilly night! Thank you so much, and please say hello when you return. Merissa
Love the Charles streetl location and fireplace restaurant next to small hotel lobby. Duck breast delectable as were salads, tomato bread. Small portions-especially cocktails, but great service-will return.
Drinks came after we had finished appetizers. Asked to hold wntrees intil after we had our drinks, waiter agreed and food was aeeved two minutes later!
Server was very nice and trying but clearly the kitchen and bar were not coordinated at all!
Thank you so much for dining with us. We appreciate hearing your feedback. We’re always looking to improve so thank you for taking the time to write. We hope to see you again soon. Let us know if you ever have any questions. - Merissa
Consistently excellent kitchen.
The hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas. What a treat. Great food. Waitress clearly doesn’t like her job
Just perfect. Bar staff and wait staff were super attentive
Went here for Thanksgiving so not their normal menu. A friendly, casual place, in line with prices good expect in the area. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Wine choices good. Cocktails stiff. The meal was uneven, possibly because this was out of their normal line (turkey fine, cranberry good, gravy bland, stuffing was what you might expect from hospital cuisine). The sides (Delicata squash and wax beans) were terrific). Parsnip Dip also good. I might try again on a non-holiday.
Friendly service at our outdoor table on a chilly night. Heater worked perfectly!
Limited menu for lunch. Not very interesting.
Wonderful service, cocktails and great food. We enjoyed our experience a great deal. We look forward to our next visit.
Such a lovely lunch with my friend, seated by the big beautiful window, the waitress was so enthusiastic about the menu and the room is stunning!
Excellent service. Lovely setting. Great food. Definitely recommend!
They ran out of 3 of our food/drink choices. Service was slow/ understaffed? Server slammed down salt/pepper when we asked for it after she asked and we told her the pasta was good, but cold. Overall a negative experience. I live in the neighborhood and don't plan on returning.
Food and service were outstanding. Portions were large enough for 2 to share and all courses including appetizer, salad, pasta and dessert, were delicious. The patio was lovely for a balmy evening dinner. The seating and proximity to a heat source are limited and it's uncovered, book indoors when it's cool or cover is needed.
We appreciate very much you taking the time to leave this feedback. It means a lot to us to hear it, and as a small business it is very helpful to have guests like you spreading the word about their experience! - Merissa
service was good, seating outside was sufficient, nice ambiance.
Delicious food, perfect for a special date night. We will be back.
Very small with limited menu. Not a really good brunch spot, probably better for a snack between meals.
Lunch was fabulous! Interesting menu, well prepared, pleasantly served. I have a new "go to" place on Charles Street!
Superb good and service. Love they pay a fair wage. Fantastic all around!
Where to start? The food was quite delicious but there were no utensils to eat it properly. It took over 45 minutes for an espresso drink to arrive and when it did, it was clearly not skillfully done. Might return for the flavors but only after staffing has been ironed out…good luck
Food was decent. Service was ok. We were there for the brunch. Will get a better review after we have dinner there, which we will.
An oasis in Beacon Hill. Reminds me of great restaurants in Copenhagen. Similar to new Nordic cuisine.
Great service! Love Ariel! Amazing waitress
Waitresses & waiters very professional and friendly. We went for lunch & food was absolutely delish! Very very clean. It was our first time there. Highly recommend. Will go back.
We didn’t eat - 2 rounds of drinks and an appetizer - might be nice to allow rating without food
Great service, beautiful ambience, and amazing food. Chef Bullock is a treasure - highly recommend the octopus and jamón with melon!
I always get the shrimp and potato small dish and salad
Delicious and very good service. Very sweet hotel lobby and good restaurant.
Can’t wait to come back!
Service was so kind and friendly
Food was amazing
Great wine list
Always such a joy to visit Peregrine. Cocktails and all food offerings were on point. Atmosphere is wonderful as is the service.
Peregrine is all that you would want in a restaurant: great food, low key-chic ambiance, and thoughtful waitstaff. Loved everything I ordered: pan fried octopus, caeser salad (with roasted cabbage), sourdough bread made pink by beets and a plum galette. So very good... Looking forward to my next visit!
Steak was the worst we've had in years. The blackened fish was ok but nothing spectacular. The outdoor seating is below standard for the area, cramped, and very noisy. Service was decent but not to the level that is expected with a menu of this price range. First and last visit to what looked like it should have been a stellar experience.
We went to try lathe roast chicken on the current menu. It was outstanding! Also I tried the Amari tasting flight which was spectacular. Service was as exceptional as always.
Great time. Charming location too, loved the patio for after dinner.
Service personable and efficient, food creative and delicious, beverages exceeded expectations. Wonderful experience all around. Lower grades on ambiance and sound not necessarily the fault of the establishment, but rather precautions needed for COVID. When at full strength, and utilizing indoor space appropriately, this place will be a true gem.
Stopped in for breakfast before a kayak ride on the Charles. The service was excellent as well as the food. The server gave us some pointers and even some birthday cookies with a candle!
Drinks came 15min + after we ordered, had to flag a manager to take our drink order. They were busy with a small Mgh party outside, but still
Patrick, Thank you so much for dining with us. We appreciate hearing your feedback, and I'm so sorry about the delay in your drinks. We’re always looking to improve so thank you for taking the time to write. We hope to see you again soon, and please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Inventive menu and preparation. The small plates were delicious.
