always the best service and food around. never disappoints
Took our very discerning foodie friends from Australia who were extremely impressed! Perilla is going from strength to strength! Looking forward to our next visit.
The menu on the face of it can look a bit challenging but its inventiveness is kept within bounds and subject to the demands of taste rather than fashion - small plates with intense and well-balanced flavours. Both food and wine were memorably good, and the service perfect. Our vegetarian guest was very happy. Go!
Great atmosphere and exceptional food !
Fantastic food- mussel bread one of the best things I’ve eaten in a couple of years. Lovely service. Good drinks. Jealous I don’t like closer!
Excellent food and wine. Always a great experience. Service superb.
We found the whole experience at Perilla fantastic, the menu, service, environment and wine list were all great. The food is so different and unique in both flavours and preparation. The meal we had was truly delicious and we enjoyed sharing everything so we could taste it all instead of doing the tasting menu. Felt the evening was also good value for money.
Perilla are the masters of delicious sauces!
Best restaurant in town.
Great food, very imaginative and attentive staff.
Really interesting and very tasty food. Service was attentive, friendly and well informed. Decor fantastic. The only downside was the smell of the drains but I don't think it was the restaurant's fault!
Really excellent and imaginative food in a lovely dining space. The only thing I didn't like was the wine was served in tumblers! A silly affectation. You can request a proper wine glass (and given they are serious about their wines you should). Apart from that - faultless. Highly recommended.
One of the best spots in London at the moment.
Really friendly staff, creative yet comforting food. They tweak their menu constantly but classics such as the burnt onion soup is there. Their buttermilk pudding is to die for!
The only thing that could potentially be improved is when it gets a little bit busy, it could be a little bit difficult to get hold of a staff. But they are all lovely and helpful!
We were very pleasantly surprised by the inventive and extremely tasty dishes! Nice cocktails too :-)
We sat 30 minutes before anyone approached us to even ask what we want to drink!! It felt absolutely terrible. The food was very good but the service did ruin our outing.
We’ve gone out first runs since having a baby and 30 minutes is a lot for us. Too bad.
Outstanding food and service in a beautiful restaurant.
Exceptional culinary experience with a low key atmosphere. Easily going to become one of my favourite restaurants. Discovered new flavours and loved the presentation of the dishes.
The Sunday menu was excellent. Looking forward to trying the full menu. Lovely fresh, seasonal ingredients.
This is a great restaurant. The food was the best I've had for some time. Delicious and imaginative. It's a light, airy dining area in a great part of Stoke Newington. We'll be returning.
Quite expansive for the food, but the food is good!
It was an excellent experience with a varied and creative menu, well serviced and the staff were very helpful in explaining the menu and wine.
Couldn't fault it.
Had such a special dining experience here. The food is just on point, supported overall by great wine/drinks selection and intuitive/well-informed staff. This is just the beginning of Perilla I suspect.
An excellent restaurant. We had the set menu which consisted of a number of courses, all of which were delicious. The service was excellent too. This restaurant is highly recommended
The culinary standard and style is on a par with some of the best modern British restaurants in the UK. A lovely venue to escape to from the crowded and noisy city center. A young and energetic team that works hard to deliver great service and tasty ingredient-centric dishes.
Delicious flavours and beautifully presented. The Sunday lunch fixed menu did not disappoint, we enjoyed three very tasty courses in the relaxed and cosy setting.
Really unusual, novel food - and top-notch. The service was excellent too even though it was humming, late on a Saturday eve.
It's rare to find much if any culinary innovation outside central but this is a genuine gem just on the edges of Town. Definitely more for the adventurous foodies - what arrives on the plate is nothing like what you expected but so much more interesting!
We absolutely loved it.
Fantastic food and wine in a beautiful ambient setting with friendly and attentive service. We opted for the a la carte and were able to order most items from the set menu, however the set menu is also a great option. The food can easily be shared amongst a group. Overall an excellent experience, 10/10
Fantastic restaurant well worth a trip, wonderfully inventive food. Great service and very relaxed atmosphere.
Eversince my fist visit here about a year ago, I have visited these guys once every month or so and highly recommend them. These guys get better with each visit. Hardworking, passionate team, the hospitality is warm and giving, and above all the food is unique and tastes fantastic. I can certainly see Perilla growing into one of London's very best restaurants.
fantastic food by a great chef and very personable service ....
Lovely food, excellent service. A real joy.
just became my favourite restaurant!
Really good food thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Give it a try
