Food and service were incredible. Highly recommend this place.
the only problem was that my wife is a fish eater I checke dthe day before that there would be fish but they had run out
The veggie dish was quite heavy
wine seemed exoensivw
We went for their Sunday lunch and I must say, I rarely walk out of a restaurant that happy and satisfied. The food was delicious - in fact, it was outstanding, all of it, from the starter to the little side dishes.
I can't wait to go back and try their evening menu!
For a small neighbourhood restaurant, Perilla has excellent food, creative menu, good value pricing and soft, relaxing ambience. Just been for my fourth meal, each time celebrating birthdays, anniversaries or a post-wedding catch up.
Ben and Matt with their team are outstanding. The food is elegant and intelligent and the service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed. A great place.
Incredible food, great service. All round great experience. I will be back
Lovely restaurant, lovely evening. Waiters were all charming, food was exquisite. Not the cheapest but I wasn’t expecting that.
Always excellent food prepared with extreme care: amazing taste, textures and very light to digest. Cocktails are superbly prepared and service is caring, professional, not intrusive (something rather uncommon in London) and smiling (also not very common in London)
Always pushing, and Saturday was on fire. Love it. Even down to the bread... best in town.
Excellent tasting menu beautifully executed. The only thing I thought could have been better was the wine flight - one wine didn't seem to match well with its dish and th.e quantities were on the small side
Really delicious, inspired cooking. Dishes that you wouldn't even think about creating at home (although come to think of it, I might try) - onion soup served in a whole, burnt onion, being a highlight - but which aren't tiresome, fussy "restaurant" fodder. A couple days after eating here and I am still thinking back fondly to a wonderful evening, and looking forward to a return visit. Lovely low key service too.
I’ve eaten at Perilla on a number of occasions and it’s outstanding. The food last night however was not at its usual high standard so I quietly mentioned this to the maitre d’ away from the table. He took it with amazingly good grace and charm. I will of course be going back.
Have had the luxury of enjoying the ever changing menus almost from the beginning and am never disappointed. The food here is unique in preparation and presentation and the bread is the best I’ve had. Living in Canada prohibits more frequent visits but it’s my first go to when I arrive in London. Last experience before this one in August was January and must say was very sorry to see they no longer serve seaweed butter with the bread. I hope it comes back!
Natural informal atmosphere but with a tangible sense of the whole restaurant being geared to giving diners a great experience. We selected the tasting menu that comprised pleasingly offbeat taste combinations per course, each of which was thoughtfully composed to give well juxtaposed taste combinations. Puréed duck liver encircled with nectarine slices was exquisite, crème caramel to finish was among the best I’ve had, but every course was well received.
Stunning food, beautiful decor, wonderful staff and the sun of the parts still manages to be greater than the whole.
Top top quality food in a relaxed, unpretentious local restaurant. A neighbourhood gem.
We had a great night at Perilla. Great for small groups and special nights!
Unusual exquisite food combinations
Food ‘ outside the box’
Would want to return just to keep experiencing what the chefs are making
Amazing creative menu and wonderful service! Perfect dinner with a friend over good food and wine.
Third time to Perilla and still serving tasty food, superb service and nice cosy atmosphere.
We went to Perilla for our anniversary and it was fabulous! We had the tasting menu and we loved every single dish. The service was friendly yet unobtrusive. We will be returning very soon!
One of the best meals ever - thanks to the wonderful cooking of Ben Marks !
Great place for a catch up with friends or something a little bit different. The food is unusual and delicious and the wine options were also great. We had three dishes to share between two (plus the deliciously warm bread), although there’s also a set meal option that looked nice. Delicious.
Sensational food in a beautiful setting. Surprisingly good value on a Sunday.
Perilla was recommended by a friend and definitely worth a visit. We did the set menu, which had most of the interesting dishes, but the a la carter looked great too. The service was a bit sketchy, but friendly staff always makes up for that.
I love tasting menus. No they’re not cheap and they’re often disappointing. However, Perilla’s is outstanding - exciting, clever, delicious - all served in a really friendly relaxed atmosphere with not even a hint of ponce-iness.
Overall, considering the level of the food I’d also say it’s very good value. So yes... brilliant.
I like that the Sunday menu is limited so there’s not too much choice and it is a quirky variation to a Sunday roast. The chicken was delicious and succulent and the salads were nice and fresh, although there was a lot of olive oil in everything which made it all a bit too rich for me. The wine we chose by the glass was expensive but it was absolutely delicious so probably worth it! Good quality food and very friendly service.
Creative and modern use of everyday ingredients - would highly recommend
Very nice evening
Best Value for money in London, knocking off Barrafina from that pedestal.
The place was quite small so not a lot of privacy but the food was gorgeous and well presented.
Exciting blend of innovative dishes and just the right amount of food and service.
Brilliant & tasty mix of food. Delightful service & friendly airy ambience. Not cheap, but not too pricey either!
amazing food and such a great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
The food at Perilla is inventive and superbly cooked. We had the set menu with wine pairing and weren’t disappointed. Well worth the journey.
Had another amazing meal on Sunday. It’s my favourite restaurant in London. Exceptional value for money considering the level of cooking and quality of food.
Great food, good portions, great price!
Will be back!
Imaginative menu. Although small enough options and choice. Nice wine list too. Service friendly and professional. I loved the atmosphere. Laid back and chilled but special will to again
always the best service and food around. never disappoints
