   Perilla was all round an amazing experience. The service and kindness of the staff was without a doubt 5 stars. Every dish on the menu was high standard and unbelievably enjoyable. The atmosphere was very romantic and personable for a two person meal. Perilla is unquestionably worth every pound. Everyone that can afford it should go.

   Hidden cutlery drawers, candle lit tables, hand written wine book full of classics and the quirky, delicious seasonal fare, warm, engaging staff. Just go!

   We had great service, the wine which we had help to choose was very delicious. The cauliflower carbonara and the steak and mussels, followed by the herb sorbet were all outstanding.

    The vegan menu was quite repetitive and the two main courses were made from very heavy mushrooms that are quite difficult to digest. It felt like the chef hasn’t tasted the menu.

    Big fan of perilla! Will definitely will be back! Attention to detail is outstanding! Every piece of food was heavenly, the desert wasn’t as good as the rest of the food on the menu though!

    Poor service...was rushed by our servers several times and they weren't very nice about it. We finished our meal within 2 hours from our booking (which is fairly standard?) but they didn't seem too happy. If you wanted to close early on Sundays perhaps don't take dinner booking then... Food is fine but nothing to write home about, we weren't aware they only serve the reduced menu on Sunday evenings.

    Had the set menu and wine pairing, totally delicious food, excellent service with great descriptions of both food and wine that really enhanced the experience. Also the vibe of the restaurant sealed the deal for this 5/5 review, as a fully packed restaurant but calm and collected staff and great ambiance meant you still felt like you were the only people in the room - superb!

    We went here on our first date night after having a baby. Such a great place to reconnect as a couple after a crazy few weeks raising a newborn! We will be back! It was an amazing dinner.

    I had been to Perilla many times in the past but this was my first visit for a couple of years. I was disappointed to find only a set menu and a boring one at that. The chicken pie was perfectly good but no better than I could get in many other places. Where has all the interest, imagination and skill gone that I remembered from the past? Drinks were still great however

    Wonderful from start to finish! Superstar sommelier Juste was so informative and seriously skilled. The food was exquisite and the chefs deserve huge recognition! All topped off by elegant and charming service from Joe! An incredible way to celebrate our anniversary!

    The food was more than decent but far from exceptional. We had the fixed menu. First course (braised green with poached egg) excellent. Cauliflower Carbonara was lovely to start but I found it less appealing the more I had. Soft herb sorbet was lovely flavours but fr too intense, the chocolate tart too rich. Ambience great. Service great. Wine flight partly just not my style, but I didn't find any to be exceptional
