Food and service was absolutely outstanding. We requested Rudy again. He’s top-notch. What a special meal.
Service for dinner was a little disappointing very slow and lacking as I had visited the Austin TX Perry's and it was excellent. This establishment fell short except for Maria the bartender was extremely friendly and cordial and made an excellent Cosmopolitan.
It was a bit annoying also to get a text that the valet was closing and you need to come to pay and get your keys. We did not get to enjoy our coffee or dessert because of this. I for one will not revisit Perry's in Oakbrook.
Would have given a 0 rating if I could. Hostess was rude from the start. We were late getting seated for our reservation. Waiter did not understand how food was prepared. Bar was very slow. When my drink came out, my pour looked like it was half of a pour. We were there for 45 minutes and just bailed because everything was just so poor. I will never know if their pork chop is the greatest because this place was just horrible.
Very disappointing experience. Food was flavorless in some cases, and over seasoned in others. Way overpriced for the quality of food.

Great food . Great service. Reem the server was excellent she explained everything very knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely be back and hopefully have Reem as a server again.

Wonderful, amazing food but much too loud both inside and out. In the future we will try to go on less busy nights. But the food and service were exceptional.
First time will return for lunch on Fridays! Olivia was our server and was fantastic! The steaks were perfect and the pork chop omg was amazing! Treated me and my guests to dessert for our combined birthday celebration! Will for sure come back!
Beautiful atmosphere. Our server was attentive. The pork chop which is their signature dish is excellent because it is meaty and very tender. However, the filet mignon dish is not as good compared to other steakhouses in the area (i.e. Ditka's, Gibson's)
The seasoning on the ahi tuna was too salty..That Mai Tai was more like water down tequila. I give them 3 stars..

Wonderful meal! Everything from the appetizers to the main entree to dessert was perfect!! Server was excellent
We enjoyed the outdoor seating, however, we were also the only table our server had outside, so we didn't get the level of attention we are used to at Perry's. The new salad and cauliflower au gratin are delicious and we are looking forward to our next time there.

It was me and my husband first time at perry’s statehouse ! The food was very good , But the service was very bad we got their at 8:30 we set down at 8:39 we ordered at 8:50 He bright our win out at 9:00 he never gave us win glasses until 9:50 he told us he was soooooooooo sorry he had a lot going on and that y’all was low on staff ! !
Very slow service...took forever in between drinks, apps and dinner.
First visit here to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. Rose petals adorned our table when we arrived. Food was delicious. We split a salad of field greens, pears and candied pecans. Husband had the signature “Filet Perry” which comes wrapped in bacon and topped with a lump of crabmeat and steamed asparagus on the side. I had an 8 oz filet mignon topped with Perry’s signature butter and a small side of roasted root vegetables. Steaks were cooked perfectly to our request and arrived piping hot and sizzling on cast iron plates.
We received a lovely dessert trio of creme brûlée and bites of an orange cheesecake and chocolate mousse. Delicious. Wines were excellent as well.
Waiter was pleasant, polite and timed service appropriately, although we had to ask for steak knives after kitchen staff served our food. Our initial cocktails took some time to arrive but waiter checked in to let us know they were on their way.
Very nice, upscale ambiance, although music was a bit too loud. Overall, a lovely experience.
My waiter was so attentive and helpful. My friend and I’s food was immaculate. Definitely got our money’s worth!

Pork chop Friday lunch is excellent
Chopped salad, no description, it turns out nothing more than chopped iceberg lettuce, few cherry tomatoes and lots of cheap quality shredded cheese. No creativity what so ever, it’s essentially same or worse salad that one would be served if you visit Pandarosa, Denny’s or Cracker Barrel’s. Why would I come to Perry’s and pay $25 for my salad if its as basic as an ordinary restaurant. I like going to good places pay the price because they use better quality and few more not run of the mill ingredients to make your food interesting and creative.
To make the matters worse they loaded it up with too much dressing to hide the ordinary crap.
And even worse was I asked for steak to be added to my salad, along came two strips of bacon. There was no mention of bacon anywhere on the menu. I don’t eat bacon, but serving an item which is not allowed by two major religions is rather offensive without checking or information.
The steak was decent and thats all i ate. And the most diluted cocktail for $15 is another ripoff. Obviously i ordered it knowing the price, but then you need to add some decent amount of alcohol, it tasted like flavored water with a slight hint of rum.
I used to love this place, they never served bacon before on my steak salad, and salad used to be better. The cocktails were always great, lunch or dinner.
I paid $ 75 just for lunch and came back with terrible experience. Restaurants are all about experience, so this was my last visit.
Perhaps my expectations changed or the chef and the bartender, something is way off.
It was an alright experience. Not terrible but not the best. We ordered a few steaks, the surf and turf pasta, the pork chop, and a few appetizers. Everything was quite tasty except for the signature fried asparagus. For a signature dish, I had high expectations but the asparagus itself was very bland and the crab topping was way too salty. The steaks and pork chop were the highlights and I definitely recommend them.
As far as service goes, that left a lot to be desired. Our waiter was not horrible but he was also not very attentive and seemed to be in such a rush the entire time. He only stopped by to check on us once throughout the entire meal and we were asked if we wanted boxes to go before we even finished eating. Then after the plates were cleared, we were never offered a dessert menu. The check just came immediately. After paying, we had to ask multiple times for a bag to put the boxes of leftovers in before the waiter finally brought it (which I felt should have been provided when we were given the boxes initially). That being said, I wouldn’t say the service was a deal breaker. It just felt like we were being rushed out even though it didn’t seem like it was all that busy.

The drinks were excellent. The bread and lobster bisque were very very good. However the lobster steak pasta wasn’t as good as I expected. My friend had the spinach bacon salad and usually it is served warm. Hers was cold but it was okay. The most disappointing thing was the Irish coffee. Usually you get the coffee with the Jamsesons irish whiskey topped with whipped cream drizzled with green cream d ment. This came with coffee and Jameson’s! Tasted nothing like it should. However our server was excellent!
This was our first time trying Perry's and I wish i would of known sooner about this restaurant.

Perry’s steaks were divine. The filet served on a cast iron skillet was perfect. The meat melted in your mouth. Their signal drinks were also a nice touch for a hot summer evening. Service was superb. We will definitely be back!!
Our server, Kyle was excellent. My friend who I was taking out because she just recently moved to the Oak Brook area, had the Chilean Sea Bass and she said it was great. I had a chicken dish with a semi glaze sauce and it was outstanding.

Our server was great, the raw oysters, pear salad and bone-in ribeye were fantastic, wine list and filet were just OK. I've had more tender, flavorful filets elsewhere. And to only have one brand of Merlot to choose from (and not a good one) is crazy. My problem affecting this review was fruit flies. We were bothered by little gnats or fruit flies while eating. There were even a few sitting on the wall next to us as we ate. That was definitely a turn off.
Our service and the food were phenomenal. The drinks were outstanding. Thank you so much for a great service food and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be dining there again
