Closed. No notice from opentable. Bad deal. At least the app should have a way to NOT make a reservation in an establishment which is onlonger in business. Bad form.
Fantastic restaurant, fantastic food.
Food is fresh and delicious.
Food arrived in dribs and drabs. Overall not satisfactory. We complained and an amount was taken off the bill but it is an expensive restaurant and we feel the complaint was met with too defensive a response
Slow service, warm wine. Dirty paper menus (not pricey to reprint surely) and my sword fish was dry with random vegetables (raisons really?)
Bill came to the table before we had even requested it!
Was a go to for business lunches, but no longer. Sort it out guys...
Amazing staff! Amazing food! Amazing place! Extremly kind member of staff with excellent customer service! We need more people and place like this in crazy London!
Amazing service. We loved our food. Would defo recommend
The restaurant had not received their bread delivery so no bread available - why they could not think of alternative suppliers I don’t know.
Oysters were good but 2 mains; halibut and lobster linguine were bland and tasteless - not worth the money.
Quality of service poor - tried to put large tray of oysters in middle of table rather than on a raiser. Only provided a spoon with dessert and no fork.
No point in complaining as the staff were not interested in those dining that evening. Not once were we asked how everything was.
All in all a disappointment - Zizzi’s restaurant nearby may have been a better experience at less expense.
This was my first time eating here and it was a bit of a disappointing experience. The food was quite bland and I would’ve expected a little better for the pricing.
Very nice Italian restaurant with attentive service and a varied menu. Good preparation of the selections.
Didn’t start well when the waiter gave the food order to the kitchen in Italian....not realising perhaps that my girlfriend speaks Italian, and referred to her as “the girl” will have x, rather than “the lady”. Restaurant was empty, bar one other table. Booked by mistake....over £100 for 2 for a very average lunch. Won’t be returning.
One of my favourite restaurants. Great value, with some great deals. This week's visit was fun and enjoyable. Lovely food and great service. The staff go out of their way to assist.
Really nice food here, will defo come here more often. The seafood risotto is really amazing. Solid seafood with every spoon.
We arrived very early after we had been to a matinee show but they were more than happy to accommodate us. Service was attentive not pushy.
Food was very good, the octopus & potato salad and the swordfish carpaccio were especially good starters.
Really enjoyed the food and the ambience, will certainly visit them again.
We went to Pescatori for a business lunch and it was amazing! The food, the service and the place in general blew our minds!
staff friendly but needs updating and refurbishment
didn't know how to make a G&T, no cucumbers!!!!
Desert was terrible, basically fruit with sugar on top
If you serve salmon tartare with avocado please ensure that the avocado is ripe
Mine was so hard it would have been evident to the person who prepared this that it was inedible yet it was still served
Lovely family run fish restaurant. Excellent food and service and a wonderful place for a three hour lunch. I would recommend it to everyone.
Waited a long time for food. Maybe an hour for starters
Staff were polite
food was excellent. staff were patient and attentive.
We were entertaining guests from New York who wanted to go to a good fish restaurant in the Fitzrovia area.
We were welcomed warmly into the restaurant by the hostess and our drinks orders were taken quickly by a very friendly waitress.
We shared 4 starters amongst five of us - all of which were nice and well presented.
The mains were, however, very disappointing. Our guest ordered a tuna steak, and specified he liked it served rare. He received a tiny piece of fish which was served well done and very bland - he didn’t want to complain and ate half of it.
My wife ordered the grilled seafood platter which comprised 1 prawn, an inedible piece of what was supposed to be grilled squid ( it was absolutely tasteless and looked as if it was put on the plate as an after-thought ) and 2 razor clams which were also very average
I had a grilled sea bream which was perfectly grilled and very nice - I ended up giving half to my guest as he had given up with his tuna steak.
My other guest had fried fish and chunky chips which he said was very nice.
The bill, with a bottle of wine (£40) came to £260 which was very expensive for the quality of the food.
I didn’t realise that you had to book the bottomless Prosecco menu, and was rather stunned at the brusque and abrupt manner of the receptionist showing me that I had not booked that menu and there was nothing I could do about it before spinning on her heels marching off! She started off my evening on a bad note! The other staff were lovely.
Third time going to this restaurant and this time we brought friends from Paris. Brilliant seafood restaurant with a good variety. 2 bottles of wine, starter, main and dessert for 4 people came to circa £65 pp with the 20% off food from Opentable. Still a tad on the pricey side and though it was lovely food not sure it that outstanding that I’d pay full price for it. Neverthless, very good service and nice ambiance even on Monday night !
Went to Pescatori restaurant to sample their Mediterranean seafood platter for two. The dish came out piled high with shellfish, jumbo prawns, prawns, oysters all on a bed of crushed ice complete with glass of wine. Delicious food and excellent service. Almost too much for two people!
Enjoyable as ever. Greeted nicely on arrival and felt very welcome. Seated at a good table and service was efficient.
Starters were both excellent and my main course was really good and my husbands was ok.
I started with the tuna and it was completely tasteless. To be fair they offered an alternative. Mussels were also quite dull. My son had fish soup and he loved it. Mains were ok. Personally I feel is very overpriced and qe refused 12.5% tip and gave our own. Will not return.
First time visit to Pescatori, recommended by Charlotte Hotel. Dinner, Mussels, Seabass, Grilled Asparagus and Salads, with Frascati White wine - very nice meal.
Server - Valentine from Sardinia was excellent!
Business meeting for 5 - great menu options so everyone could get what they wanted - great service -
only thing I miss is the fixed price lunch from last year - bring it back and we'll be back much more
Ingredients largely good, but food flavour was a disappointment at the price.
This was my first visit so didnt know what to expect.
I found the restuarant very good as i had arrived earlier than my booking which wasnt a problem.
The food was very good a great menu lots to choose from.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would definately recommend this restuarant to my friends.
Hopefully go back soon
I have been going to the Pescatori for more than 40 years and it has always been absolutely excellent. The food is delicious and brilliantly cooked and served. There is no better fish restaurant in London. The staff and great and the ambience perfect
Excellent service, delicious food, lovely setting. Would recommend.
Food was great but quite expensive and what really upset me was the £40 service charge!
When booking i mentioned it was for a birthday. Also mentioned this on arrival. Nothing special was ever said or done by staff. Food poor value and disappointing. Would not recommend.
We've had dinner here for several times since a few years ago and we kept going back for their quality seafood. However, this visit was so disappointing. The food was mediocre, service was no longer as nice as before. Some of their seafood did not taste fresh at all. Given the rather costly price there, we won't go back anymore.
Have been here several times usually for business lunches and always enjoy
the food, the ambience and service. Highly recommended
It was fabulous. Friendly service, lovely food, a table outside in the evening sunshine and an aperol spritz to start. Grazie !
good restaurant, well cooked fish, accurate and friendly Italian staff
Was brilliant all round. Would be even better if there was a 'free from' option for pasta and bread
