Peter Pan Bistro
Peter Pan subscribes to the "nose-to-tail" philosophy, popularly readopted over the past few years. This approach extends beyond simply the consumption of meat, instead embracing the responsible use of all raw ingredients. More than an education through food, what some take as byproducts of cooking, nose-to-tail sees as ingredients in the search for pleasure.
Wonderful staff and great tasting food! Will be back.
The food was amazing. The ingredients were fresh, high quality and cooked to perfection. The menu is contemporary and interesting. The service was perfect: friendly and prompt without being too attentive. I will be eating at Peter Pan again soon
Love this place! Great casual service, impeccable food, reasonable prices, and washrooms that don’t make you feel you’ve gone to a dark cave.... Will go back!
It's is a really nice place but the fried chicken sandwich was tasteless. How do you make fried chicken tasteless?
I tapped “Birthday” in the OpenTable reservation, and without ever mentioning it IRL, they brought complimentary madelines with a candle at the end of the meal. Next level.
Slightly cold coffee otherwise excellent
While my dinner meal (Trout) was very good, my son’s (Pickerel) was bland and a very small portion. For $27 he was disappointed. Our server did not check in to see if we were enjoying our meal. I was not asked if I would like another glass of wine.
Disappointing service so we opted not to stay for coffee or dessert.
Overall, expensive for the quality and device.
Very nice atmosphere and lovely food. Just a little pricey!
Delicious! We loved the Madelaines with lemon curd + the Shakshuka
Good food, nice simple menu, causy and friendly downtown Toronto
Great food. Great service.
Have been visiting this place since I moved around the corner last year and it has never disappointed.
Lovely atmosphere on the upper patio for brunch. Madelines and lemon curd were delicious.
Would not recommend, avoid at all costs for dinner, could be a nice place for a few drinks but nothing more. While the outdoor space is nice the food and service are extremely mediocre. The burger bun was more dense than bread. The seasonal vegetables were a plate of uncut vegetable that looked like garden weeds. On top of that the server asked if I was still eating, I replied yes, and she proceeded to take my plate. Avoid at all costs
Great meal as always.
The staff are so thoughtful and the brunch was amazing. Coffee is flavoured with cinnamon and it's fantastic.
Brilliant brunch! Every detail was spectacular. I plan to return often!!
Food is amazing, service is okay. I found the space a bit tight, but still nice. Pricey.
My boyfriend and I met my uncle here for dinner. Had a very nice time. Very good service and excellent food.
Service was ok, it took a long time for entrees after appetizers but everything was delicious and I would return.
I highly recommend this location, I went this weekend for brunch for my birthday and have never been disappointed with the food, service or atmosphere. I highly suggested it for any event, location or just a night out.
Outstanding bistro - great location, great venue. Always enjoy a great dinner at Peter Pan.
Always love Peter Pan. Good healthy food and friendly staff. Thanks!
Great brunch, great decor, great service, next time will try the patio which looked good.
The wine list is GREAT! Filled with fun nerdy wines to the delicious classics. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is historical and quaint. Also, if you're in the mood for a burger... get it. One of the best in Toronto.
My children and I went there for a special occasion last week. I mentioned the occasion on my OpenTable reservation. Our server was extra kind and very attentive through the entire evening. They even gave us complimentary desserts! Very unexpected but perfect in every way. I would have said this evening was exceptionally perfect had they not run out of our favorite dish - the lamb... that was kind of disappointing but the meals we ordered were fantastic anyway.
I normally write reviews after my 2nd visit to the restaurant to make sure food and services consistent. 100% I love this place a lot!! Sad that I wasn't able to try the Roasted Cornish Hen again I will order next time. We have the steak and trout ... Perfect.
We've been before, both with and without friends. We will continue to go back. The food was excellent as were the service and the patio.
Heavenly foods and beautiful ambiance , I highly recommend Peter pan...
Great service! Great food. Wonderful experience. Will be back for sure!
a great dining experience;
a pleasure to sit in this gorgeous room and actually hear my companion across the table;
a joy from start to finish.
Does it get any better than that ?
I don't think so.
It was a very charming place
A great place to catchup with a friend, especially on half price bottle Wednesdays
Good food as always! Everyone enjoyed their selections - especially the fresh baked scones and madelaines!
Beautiful small corner restaurant with great ambiance, food and pride.
Iconic Peter Pan Bistro has survived through the changes to Queen St. West. They set up in advance for our party of 14, took orders quickly and delivered all the food at once. And the food was great - Eggs in tomato and peppers, giant burgers, Cornish hen. Our group highly recommends this restaurant.
Very reliable with nice bistro atmosphere, fantastic service and yummy well presented food. Had steak frites and the meat was fantastic
Lovely atmosphere. Very chill and relaxing. Food is well presented and delicious. Will come back for sure.
Quiet restaurant with interesting decor and a limited menu. Our meals (special lamb pasta dinner, charcuterie plate, salad) were all excellent. So... perhaps limited selection but good selections.) I would definitely go back.
Brunch was great! Eggs benny was very nice and the Fried Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal!
Restaurant attempted to over charged then came up with bogus reasoning for their actions just because they weren’t busy. Left very angry. its just not acceptable.
