The best fancy restaurant in manchester! the tuna flatbread with truffle mayo is the most delicious thing i’ve ever had! the japanese is generally better than the mexican but don’t order the calamari. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great location
This was our second visit. When you look at the menu you think that it won’t work (Japanese / Mexican ) however - it is fabulous. Our favourite dishes are the homemade guacamole, matchstick chicken, squid & seabass. Truly some of the best food we have ever eaten.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.
Fantastic food, venue & staff
The food lets this place down. Food itself is average and I came away hungry as portions were so small.
Decentish service, however food was average to say the least. Dont really get the japanese/mexican fusion and I would have expected there to be some sushi on the menu
Venue and atmosphere amazing however feel so let down by the food. Understand that it is fine dining but portions were ridiculous, spend £120 and was left starving.
Amazing food, excellent service! The crab tempura is a must try.
The food was delicious! We had a variety of items of the menu and were impressed by every item we ate. It was all mouthwatering and Devine!
The experience was made by the way the table was brought to life. We never had to pour ourselves a drink or ask anyone to clear the table.
The waiters recommended the food order from our choices as well as the amount of time to break in between!
My partner loved the birthday surprise at the end and I will definitely be returning! I already recommended this place to everyone I know! Exceeded expectations!
Excellent food, the wasabi salmon was like poison though way too much wasabi when a pinch would have done, couldn't even taste the salmon. The rest of the dishes were wonderful. It was quite noisy though and dark, not great for conversation.
Attentive service, great food and reasonably priced. Warm Sake at the bar afterwards was great, certainly recommend
Gorgeous food, ambience and service. Certainly has the wow factor and the tastes to match.
The Valentine's day food was amazing. My boyfriend & I were treated well by all staff. I would definetly like to come again and try something off their menu!!
Great service, great food
Great food, service and music. Definitely be back soon.
Been here for by birthday meal with the girls back in December and really enjoyed the food. We didn't cut my cake there, as they wanted to charge £5pp 'cakeage'.... I looked past that, as I enjoyed the food, so decided to take the hubby for Valentine's lunch... And it was the total opposite of my last visit... Service was super slow, only 4 tables at 12noon, food came out even slower.... And to be charged £8 for a Virgin Mojito!! When we questioned it, we was told the non alcoholic mocktail is the same price as an alcoholic cocktail... Not sure if I would visit again...even though I enjoyed the food... Service and extra charges have put me off
Great service and food, will definitely 're visit.
Excellent service from our waiter Venus plus other staff were extremely helpful. We went for a meal for two and the food was excellent, my partner had Tempura and I had wagu beef flatbread , we followed with mini dishes which included ribs and chicken. I would recommend for a special meal
Downstairs toilets were broken so I had to go in a lift walking through the hotel to go to the toilet in louboutins .. the staff were ok but could tell panicked all the time
The food was way way way to spicy even the hoummous I had to ask for instant water my partner loves spice and chilli but was even too much for him
We did send a few things back
Beautiful restaurant and our waiter was lovely and he really knew the menu, but the food was distinctly average, wasn’t impressed at all and was disappointing as it looks so nice in pictures. Portions were too small as well. Tried to order more food and the kitchen had already closed, (we were not told this in advance).
I would recommend PSK, but I would also mention that it is not for an 'eased' evening. The food is delicious, but it comes up a bit rushed, even 5 minutes after ordering. Probably because there are 2 shifts per table, but it makes the experience a bit less. Also, the music of the dj was great, but a bit too loud to have normal conversations at the table. The interior is beautiful.
Portions are tiny. Not worth the money spent. Food was tasty but just not enough. Left hungry! Service was good.
We had a fabulous meal our waiter Mark was amazing he could not do enough for us , all the staff were excellent but I didn’t catch all their names which is a shame as I think they all deserve the credit , we will definitely come back, the atmosphere was good a real buzz to the place the bar staff were also very tentative
Having eaten at most of Manchester’s best restaurants, I felt it’s value for money was really poor. The place is stunning, the food is good (if not a little confused due to the two cuisines) but the cost for what you get seems unreasonably high.
although the setting was nice the staff do appear to have an agenda they wanted to put us on a table squeezed next to a couple that were already eating although the restaurant was barely half full (it was still not full when we left) and there were plenty of other tables with space.
the chef had gone a bit mad with the pepper / chilli powder it was on everything
we have had far better japanese food elsewhere
A fabulous restaurant, great decor and ambience. The food was outstanding and some of the best food I’ve tasted. Amazing
Best experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The place looks great, friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff, food was amazing. Would recommend the Wagyu Beef flatbread, the Snow Crab and the cheesecake to anybody! Thanks
Confused menu, flavours and presentations were either very average or bizarre and at times the service felt intrusive. Excellent cocktails. Overall a disappointment.
Amazing service and food to match. Very trendy restaurant - perfect spot for a Saturday night dinner.
Extraordinary food and great wines. At first sight an odd combo - Japanese & Mexican - but it works! A very "hip" place - a DJ "DJ's" whilst you're eating and there's a fantastic buzz. Tables are VERY close together but that was fine as we got chatting to our dining neighbours both sides, shared food & drink recommendations and had a fabulously sociable night!
Quality of food and service very good but too noisy to have a good conversation on our table even though the table also was too small for a table of four.
Having booked online for the Saturday Brunch, a present for my hubby as it included unlimited champagne, we were very disappointed to arrive to find that this only occurs on occasional Saturdays and all the info on booking had been incorrect, including the confirmation email detailing all the lovely things we would get on the brunch menu. Despite a very empty restaurant we decided to stay just to try a normal lunch and to save the present for another time. The food was OK, perfectly fine, but was skimpy for the price point, it would have been about right if priced at 33% less. With few customers on a Saturday lunchtime, more could have been done to create a warmer more inviting atmosphere. The repetitive dance track which would have been OK on a busy evening seemed out of place. Any apologies for the misinformation were perfunctory, and there seemed no recognition of our disappointment. There was a sense that care and attention was lacking. We shall still try the brunch offering which sounds good, but there is nothing to lure us back to have another go at the a la carte.
Difficult to appreciate „creative cuisine” when the noise level is that of a nightclub!
More like a cocktail bar with creative bites!
The service however- and Mark in particular - was excellent!
Got the vegetarian taster menu, very small portions but from what I got the food was incredible as well as the service.
service was good
enjoyed the food although i wouldn't say amazing, also i know its tapas style dishes but the portions of some items were very small
didn't quite get the 'flatbread wagyu beef dish' as it was served on a 'dorito'
drinks were good
also quite pricey for
Superb in every way an experience of excellence
service was exceptional and represents the best of Manchester, warm and friendly ... loved the music, atsmosphere as did my family ...
Honestly the best restaurant in town. Drinks at the bar followed by lunch with my fiancé. Met every expectation. The service however was faultless. Very knowledgeable staff backed up a brilliant menu. Cocktails were a winner as well. Will definitely be back soon!
Good atmosphere, excellent service, great cocktails and saki and lovely food.
We chose Peter Steet Kitchen for a birthday celebration and it worth it! Very pleasant experience. The food was very tasty and the service just perfect.
A superior restaurant serving amazing food, fine dining at its best. Will certainly be booking again.
