   Lovely venue. Be careful sat nav took us to the rear of the property so had to walk through a rather dark, slightly scary footpath. Great team, food Good, my starter was luke warm! But the main was perfect and so tasty. Environment beautiful! Worth a visit 100% but a touch pricey for the quality.

   Fantastic lunch. Excellent food, great wine, very good service and an outstanding atmosphere - It all felt very Christmassy (even though it was December 1st!)

   Excellent lunch. Cannot fault the food . If I had one complaint it would be the room temperature ,which from where we sitting ,went quickly from very hot to very cold . Having said that , the restaurant is in a beautifully decorated old Greenhouse so not easy to heat ! Will definitely return.

   It is always a pleasure to attend dinners at Petersham Nurseries. I enjoy the eclectic and locally sourced food options. The decor is also so fun & whimsical.

   I was disappointed by my first experience of Petersham Nurseries. I had heard such good things about the place. However i did not enjoy many aspects of my dinner last night. The hostess at the front desk was rather cold and unwelcoming. The waiting staff were kind and enthusiastic but demonstrated inexperienced and were quite robotic in their pleasantries. The second bottle of wine we ordered didn’t arrive and had to be requested again. The coffee we ordered was delivered before our desserts had arrived. The food was average at best and does not warrant the prices charged. And when we left the restaurant the lady at the front desk who ordered a taxi for us was again very unfriendly. It is such a shame but I could not recommend this place to others.

    The meal was fresh and delicious, eating in the greenhouse was a gorgeous experience, and the staff was phenomenal. The wine list is extensive, focused mainly on Italian wines but representation from around the world. I travel globally for work and this was one of the best meals I’ve had.

    I ate at the restaurant a few months ago and the food was exceptional. Very disappointed this time around when I took 5 friends. My steak, I sadly had to send back and the roast potatoes were over cooked and dry. Service was very good and decorations were lovely. Food definitely not as good as my last visit.

    We are regular guests at this restaurant however I felt obliged to comment to say that our experience yesterday (Nov 2022) was simply outstanding, the food was excellent, service excellent, ambiance is magical, great wine list, and the whole experience is as special as ever.

    Great atmosphere. Lovely people around. A bit disappointed we were obliged to ha w a fixed £90 menu only on the night. Food quality for this price was very average and service very slow. Their reputation is overrated.

    I love Petersham Nurseries. The staff are second to none. The food is almost always superb and the sea bass ceviche that I had was wonderful. Sadly, my sirloin steak was not so much rare - as I had requested - as medium, and the meat itself lacked flavour. No wow factor. The ambience is usually delightful but yesterday we were seated very close to a very noisy large party which was intrusive.

    It's quirky, it's different, it has a short but fixed price menu and the food is great. The Michelin star is entirely deserved. The appetisers were bigger than we expected, treat them as a starter. The pizzetta with 3 cheeses was much too filling, the crab served in little lettuce cups and the ceviche were outstanding. The artichoke starter and the steaks also good and the desserts delicious, especially the raspberry frangipane tart. Very good value and highly recommended.

    Always wanted to eat here, from the csstpark attendant to our lovely helpful waiter; Arthur, we were well looked after. The sommelier was very helpful in choosing a lovely wine. The food was tasty and good size, a bit disappointed with only 2 appetisers received when we thought we would get a taste of all. It was an expensive set menu but nice and easy way of eating.

    Petersham Nurseries Café is delightful at night, gaily decorated with fairy lights and interesting objects d'arts. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The food is all good, some of it very good, and the wine list is extensive. However, almost everything is massively overpriced - approaching twice as much as comparable restaurants in Southwest London and well above many exceptional restaurants in central London. While the service was acceptable, it was nowhere near what you would expect for a meal for more than £150 per head. At times the table service was both intrusive and inattentive - a rare combination.

    Our first time to eat here and it did not disappoint. Wonderful service and delicious food. I only didn’t give the food 5 * as a little more cooked than we hoped- defo not med rare, as advised. Would still return especially as they were so adorable for my daughter’s birthday.

    A lovely memorable lunch. The 13.5% mandatory service charge seemed a bit steep, on top of a high set menu price. (But totally on board with the Cook for Ukraine fund, and we paid it twice)

    Having been at Petersham a few times before, this time we were disappointed with the food. It was the menu rather than the quality of cooking or the service- the latter you can’t fault.
