Working in hospitality myself, I always expect to be treated the same way I treat my guests.
My partner and I had a wonderful dinner in Pétrus last Sunday. Wonderful service from Fred, our sommelier, also Henry was professional with the right humour and spirit.
Food was amazing from beginning till end. Delicious crab and the duck was Over the moon!

Few little points: I mentioned it was my partner’s birthday and I had to remind it at the end of the meal and also none fold my napkin when I left the table, which you normally expect in a Michelin star.

Overall, one of the best meal ever with great wine pairing. It was a long lunch. Service was attentive and responsive. Every course was better than the last course. In the future I am going to have to adjust my ratings - a new high bar. I thought CORE great but this is on par or a little better.

It was an amazing experience, only thing that was disappointing was that we ordered the cheese trolley and it never came, and we didn’t want to say anything. Other than that, the food was definitely Michelin worthy and service was fantastic!

Nothing but the absolute best. Not one single iota was out of place. The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful to meet and interact with. This was our 35th Anniversary so the meal needed to be special. My wife said it was the best of her life. Well done.

From the moment we walked in we were well looked after. After advising the waiter that I was coeliac, I was brought the most delicious gluten-free bread I have had in a long time. We had the tasting menu which we paired with one prestige and one standard wine pairing. The sommelier is clearly passionate and took his time to really walk us through the wine. I have to say that all of the staff were amazing, with just the right level of attentiveness. The tables are nicely spaced out and the restaurant decor designed to absorb the noise which is not always the case nowadays. The whole experience was really memorable and truly enjoyable. We eat out in nice restaurants on a frequent basis and Petrus really stands out as a great place to dine!

I enjoyed the full tasting menu with classic wine pairing at Petrus. It was the greatest dining experience I have ever had from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I will never forget it.

The service was top-notch. All of the servers were attentive and knowledgeable, willing to engage in good conversation about the foods and wines. The somme was incredibly knowledgable on all the wines, asking my opinion about each one and giving me a description of what I was drinking.

The tasting menu was exquisite. Everything I ate was better than I thought it would be. I especially loved the beef tartar and the sea scallop. Each menu item was prepared and plated with absolute care with the finest ingredients. I cannot recommend Petrus highly enough, I would've gladly paid more than I did for the same meal. An absolute treat worth a trip to London!

It is always a pleasure to visit Pettrus as a fantastic time is always enjoyed!
We went here for a celebration. We received an extraordinary treatment from the staff and the kitchen. Each individual meal was excellent! The quality of the cooking was beyond imagination: literally a bombardment of flavours, textures and wines of another world. The waiting staff are equal to the wonderful food and that's what makes Petrus so special. Our chap Reid was charming, knowledgeable and made our evening quite special. We just want to thank Gordon Ramsay and the Petrus Team for another memorable occasion.

Delicious food as always but the restaurant had a problem with their dimmer switch on the lighting which as a Michelin Starred restaurant should have had sorted. So our ambiance was non existent an super bright.

The food and experience was excellent, but our tasting menu service was much too long. The time between items was very long. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we walked out of there nearly four hours later. Tables around us with later reservations finished before us. Not sure why this happened. Menu items seemed to be getting out to guests around us at a much quicker pace. Next time, I will order off the regular menu and not opt for the tasting menu. The overall experience and food was fantastic, but I don't want to spend four hours at dinner.

Good food as you would expect. Bread was slightly stale though.

It was my girlfriends birthday and I asked for a happy birthday message, which never came. I asked twice for this before the booking. I also emailed about this to ask why this happened after the booking and did not receive a reply. Good customer service Gordon! This is what I would expect from McDonald’s. Noticed some uncleanliness in the toilets also.

A bit disappointing for a Michelin restaurant hence the two stars. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

For £300 per person, I reasonably expect something out of this world, not be be charged an extra £16 for 2 coffees.

I recently went to Disfrutar in Barcelona and for 1/2 the price of Petrus had a food experience at least 100 times better. More invention. More taste. More imagination. Better service. Better ambience. Better everything.

And they didn’t charge me extra for coffee.

Totally top notch dining experience. Having had chefs tastings at a number of restaurants (I.e., Charlie Trotters), this was one of the finest. Flawlessly prepared, plated, and served, I would highly recommend Petrus. I was skeptical to try a chef Ramsey place, but this one rocked!!!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Belgravia. I’ve been a regular guest for some years, and Petrus doesn’t disappoint. On this occasion the comprehensive Tasting Menu was spectacular. Six wonderful courses of delicious, beautifully presented food, plus all the small surprises from the Chef, served in an elegant dining room. Wine list is impressive. Service is very friendly and professional. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Overall a pleasant evening. Unfortunately the waitress spilled our aperitif, a glass of rose champagne all over my Valentino dress which will now need to go to the dry cleaners . It is one of those things that can happen and I laughed it off without creating a drama. I was very disappointed at the end that these was no acknowledgement in the bill of this inconvenient incident, they could have made the aperitif complementary. Poor form.

A group of friends meets to dine at a two- or three-star Michelin restaurant in London three or four times a year, and for some reason we had not yet visited Petrus. Our loss! The food was superb, the staff very friendly and helpful, the room very attractive. And it is located on a beautiful street. A first-rate experience in every respect.

Average food, clinical service and really lacking atmosphere. If it weren't for the Ramsay name, this would not survive.

Specific areas for improvement:

- bread was cold. Butter was so cold, it sliced.
- Jerusalem artichoke veloute was tepid
- starter of scallops - 1 scallop. Yes a whole scallop.
- clinical service; a waiter actually moved my bread while I had s piece in my hand
- main course of gnocchi was a starter size

I could go on (maybe if I get a TV series pointing out flaws and restaurant disappointments)?

There are much better alternatives in London.

Food was okay but little salty.
It was really crowded and unorganized restaurants. I heard several complains from other table. I thought they were waiting for their desert for more than 30 min. Apparently, their dessert was delivered to my table. ;)
Also, several servers came to us and ask the same questions over and over which was interrupt the conversation with my wife of celebrating our anniversary day.

Took forever to be served , I was waiting for someone to order wine but no one came . They forgot about my birthday , I had to mention when I asked for the bill . Just gave us an excuse . Usually when I go to other Gordon Ramsay ( 3 Michelin ) they would greet me saying happy birthday . My mother also said she’s not keen on coriander but the server has forgot about it . When I told the lady about the experience during the payment she said I can just deduct service charges. It’s not about money .... I felt like they were discriminating us because we are Asian . Such a shame . I will never ever go to Pétrus again . P.s the ribeye was so tough that my mother couldn’t cut with her knife .
