Pho & Bun
Pho & Bun is located on the popular Shaftesbury Avenue, adjacent to both London China Town and Soho, and minutes away from many West End theatres, including Queen’s theatre – home to the famous Les Misérables. Pho & Bun carries a new, out-of-the-box design that creates a cosy and comfortable dining environment with distinctively Vietnamese features.
Food was variable. Pho broth and confit pork belly bad pretty good.
Crazy great grub. Grandma, Teenage son and Wifey loved it. X
Best burger ever! Great service! I would highly advise this restaurant to friends!
The set menu was good value and every course was delicious, will definitely be back to try some other dishes.
Deliciously made. Suitable for everyday dining. The ambient was nice n cozy. Good place for hanging out with friends or a quick bite.
A lovely little place conveniently located near to Soho and Piccadilly. Service was fast so would suit pre/post theatre dinner and indeed they have an offer/deal which reflects this. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. The only thing I'd say is that it is tiny so if your group is larger than 4 people you would struggle to fit. Make sure you phone ahead and book. The Bao bun with custard dessert is to die for! Likewise my starter of pork spare ribs were the most tender I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.
Amazing food and really great service... fast and efficient, would highly recommend
The buns were delicious. However, the place was much more pricey than I expected.
Food was amazing! Fast service and very friendly staff
Amazing food and a good price. Will go again next time.
Very good food, we thought the 4 star lunch menu was good value for money.
generous portion, great value for the rice bowls, plenty of vegan and vegetarian options
Staffs are lovely and friendly and considerate.
It was a bit cold with the front door swings open when customers enter and leave, but they do have a downstairs sitting area too.
Food was nice enough and good vegetarian options. Restaurant was a bit noisy and cramped. Service was average.
Great set menu. The food was delicious and there was a good amount. We have a nice table in a little archway and the service was good.
Good location in Soho with authentic tasty food. Set menu is good value except for some reason the squid is only four pieces even when paying a supplement. This place is tiny with a busy vibe with tables packed in; recommend sitting downstairs so that you have a slightly greater sense of space. Good for a quick casual lunch but not if you want a date or any private conversation.
I have been to this restaurant three times in this last month! The staff are so friendly and accommodating! One of my favourite restaurants in London!
A friend recommended Pho & Bun and it was perfect for a pre theatre meal. Great selection of dishes and options for vegetarians, vegans and people with gluten intolerances. Portions a good size and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Will try pho next time as my friend wasn't sharing!
Recently visited for the fourth time having bought a Groupon. The food was good, but the server didn't seem to know what she was doing which was rather frustrating.
The vermicelli with pork belly is the best!!
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Will definitely go back again. Me and husband went there for a date night at the weekend. The Groupon voucher was a good deal becaudebyou get to try so much food and the pho was delightful.
No frills rustic setting but fresh delicious food very good value
Been here before, this time it wasn't good as before. Comfy pork burger was way better the time we visited before. Service could be way better, on our entrance waiter was rather rude and looked down on us. We are coming to enjoy the food and we were expecting a welcoming and great atmosphere, but it was far from it.
Great ribs and a fantastic pork belly burger. We’ll be back the food was very tasty and reasonably priced for the West End.
Good as always
Great value set menu. Tasty food and lots of gluten free options - so all round good experience
Food was good, but portions a little on the smaller side. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the place is a little cramped in there.
Execellent food and great value for money. Recommend the coconut ice and coffee pudding!
Lovely staff and great food! Came here for a lone lunch experience and it was awesome. Great portions and brilliant taste. The Bao Burger was definitely an experience - I recommend you try it! The restaurant wasn’t too busy at the time I dined here but giving how great valued the food is, I would not be surprised if its a popular spot in the evenings! I would come here again 100%!
We had the set menu with a group of girls for a night out. We were all so full of beautiful food when left. Amazing night
Great value, friendly service, tasty food. But on the hottest day if the year having no aircon wasn't ideal, but it added to the Vietnam vibe
The food was amazing! The atmosphere was great too -relaxed and chilled. We had the offer of four courses and a drink - such a great deal. Go for the iced coconut desert -lovely.
The place has real feel of Vietnam and the food is fresh and delicious. Waiters are attentive but not pushy. I’ll be back, as will my friend.
Food very delicious - loved it, would deffo go back
Conveniently located little place. Great food and service. Would be good to see them not use plastic straws though.
A very small bit intimate dining experience with really great food. Very friendly attentive staff, food was really good. Would definitely go again!
Nice casual dining, food was fine but I wouldn't say that the food was authentic.
Food was really nice, tasty and huge main portions.
Unfortunately service wasn't attentive at all.
Pretty dissapointing, as place is very small and every table is visible, had feeling of being ignored.
Service charge was included into the bill, which I wasnt over the moon to pay.
There are a lot of average places for pho in London but this place is my favourite (just for the pho) so 5 stars for that! Delicious. Service however was pretty bad this time. I've been here a few times and this time was poor. I mentioned I had a booking on Open Table and the waitress just looked at me blankly (lucky there were spare tables). Had to catch the same waitress' attention just to ask for menus 10 minutes after being seated. Then the starters (spring rolls) came out and it was served in a little wicker basket but the dipping sauce placed inside it had tipped over in the basket so the sauce was dripping through the holes in the weaved basket. The waitress still carried it to our table with her hand under the basket catching the dripping liquid and put it on the table, passing over our drinks with her hand catching the drops. The sauce then made a big mess on the table. What was she thinking?! I'd have gladly waited if she only went and put the food in a new basket or dish and carried the sauce on the side. I noticed there was a sign on the restaurant looking for new staff - yes! Get new staff who know what decent service is!! The stupid thing is, we still paid the 12.5% service charge because I guess "that's what's done in London". If it wasn't for the tasty pho I would have made a fuss and refused to pay it. This restaurant was a favourite of mine but after this experience I'm re-thinking whether I should return.
Great choice on the menu including wonderful Vegetarian options. We went for the set lunch which had brilliant choices. Also sampled a few of their delicious cocktails. Well worth the visit
Lovely food at a good price Pre theatre meal and food arrived quickly but freshly cooked
