Situated on Wheeler Street in the centre of Cambridge, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too.     normally have a really good time at pho cambridge but this time there was one staff member in particular who was quite rude to us i understand they were probably stressed as it was quite busy but we’d come for a special occasion and this kind of ruined the meal for us.

    Amongst other great things on the menu, superb Summer rolls and curries at very reasonable prices. Service excellent. Hard to beat the Pho formula!

    The hot and spicy soup was rather bland. I have had the same in a Pho elsewhere, and it was much tastier there. Here it felt like water with just a bit of spices thrown into it. Probably just a bad day, but still I was less than happy with the meal. I will give another chance at some point though.

    Food is average but expensive. It can get busy during lunch hours so book in advance. Tables are very close to each other and you will be stinking of Vietnamese food after you leave.

    Good service, very attentive young waiter. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it, so glad we didn't order everything we intended to. The price was reasonable, including the wine, was happy to pay the service charge (which is optional)

    Great value and a great meal. Food was very tasty and our friends, who were new to Pho, were very impressed. Note had been taken of our request for a quiet table which we appreciated, given how busy the restaurant was.

    Our complaint about Cambridge Pho is the volume level of Muzak. My wife is hard of hearing and wears two hearing aids. We were seated initially at a table between two ceiling mounted, loudspeakers, blaring, initially rap music, although later a more eclectic mix of pop. On requesting that the volume be reduced, preferably turned off, the supervisor claimed that she did not have authority to do anything. I stress she was the supervisor😁. In fairness, we were found an alternative table that was slightly removed from the noisiest parts of the restaurant, but the volume was still intrusive and we were unable to communicate easily between ourselves. I’m convinced none of the other diners would have noticed a 50% reduction in volume and our own lunch was somewhat spoilt as a result. I could also add my personal opinion that the choice of music was totally inappropriate to a Vietnamese restaurant. A pity as we have eaten at Pho a couple of times in the past, and think the food and service is normally very good but we would think twice before eating there again.

    Very flexible with allergens, waiter was attentive, polite and helpful. Food was incredible, portions are humongous and flavoursome. Toilets are up a few flights of stairs but I would definitely come back here again.

    We loved the food, its presentation and flavour. Helpful and polite staff. Some delay in being served and for our main course no chopsticks provided so we had to take some from an empty table.

    In total it was a good customer experience! The manager was genuinely friendly and wanted to offer a good experience (compared to the previous times we have been to Pho). Although the mains were delivered at the same time as the started - we did not not mind.

    The food and drinks were delicious at Pho and the restaurant has an excellent atmosphere. As someone with a gluten-free diet, it is really reassuring to know that the vast majority of the menu is gluten-free with the restaurant processes being certified by Coeliac UK. We would definitely come here again!

    Although due to traffic I was 40 minutes late for my booking, I phone and advised and they kept a great table open for me. Due to my lateness, my meal needed to be a little more hurried. It was but it didn’t affect the great quality food this place puts out. Thank you Pho Cambridge

    The fact that you make us write a minimum of 50 characters is annoying in itself, please stop telling us how much we should say. I love eating at Pho but the music spoils the experience. The staff apparently have no control over the type and volume and it most certainly doesn't suit us. Way too loud, type of music was OK ish but not suitable to the surroundings.

    Love this place. Fresh, tasty and amazing food that leaves you feeling full of goodness. Great service, very attentive and professional without being over the top. Good value for money and large portions which is always a bonus! Will definitely return.
