Pi Shop Ratings and Reviews
Great Pizza, good selection and all beautifully prepared. Good dough, thin base but good sour dough crust. Opted for a starter but it was a bit too big. Leftovers boxed for us which was helpful and offered without asking. Pleasant staff. Lovely area, lots of development looks as if it will become a vibrant area. Would be great to visit on a warm day as outside eating overlooking water would be lovely.
We were made to feel very welcome. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the food was excellent. This is the first time I have been to this building since it was renovated and thought it had been very tastefully done and a lovely atmosphere to dine.
I loved the atmosphere of this place. The pizza really was cut above what I've had elsewhere but he starters were the real stars of the show. The service was attentive without being in any sense overpowering. We ended up sitting with a bottle of wine long after it was reasonable for us still to be there and the staff couldn't have been more friendly about it!
We visited after the theatre on Saturday afternoon - 2 families, 4 kids in total. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was chilled and friendly and the staff we're fantastic with the kids. The service was exceptional - I can't fault it at all. Thank you for making dining with children enjoyable x
Went here for post theatre Birthday cocktails and meal on Wednesday. It was early evening and unfortunately we had a screaming child on the table next to us which somewhat spoiled the ambience. We started with cocktails which were good but not remarkable and the choice was limited and without description on the menu. The pizzas were outstanding and good value for money. The service was excellent and we will definitely go back. Not cheap but very good.
The food was great, the waiter was very attentive and friendly, and the outdoor seating area complete with patio heaters was a nice setting for an evening meal. The pizza at £16 was slightly on the expensive side but it was very filling. Would definitely return.
Good, classic restaurant in a secluded part of the city centre. Likely to get a table in the winter due to less passing trade so keep it in mind for Xmas bookings!
I tried the Carbonara pizza as the reviews for it were great, and I can now recommend it too! Salads and sides could be more charismatic. House wine tasted better than most and the overall bill for three people was reasonable considering we managed to squeeze in a pudding too. Must try the ice-cream!
I booked a table of 10 (and squeezed in another 2) for my birthday on a wednesday evening.
Second visit to pi shop and the pizza was just as good as I remembered! Best pizza in Bristol - I have no idea how they get the crust to taste so good. The menu seems limited, however it's all so tasty so it doesn't matter what you pick.
Food is reasonably priced - drinks more expensive. I got the speciality cocktail for £8.50 and was disappointed that I couldnt taste if there was any alcohol in it...
Only slight cripe was the below average service. The waiter (maybe manager) was clearly stressed and abrupt almost to the point of being rude. It was busy but not that busy so don't have much sympathy. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, which was absolutely fine, but if he had taken the time to talk to me, explain, and offer the drinks menu, he would have realised that we were a very relaxed bunch, didn't mind waiting (as long as we were offered a drink), and that I was the birthday girl (bit awkward when he didn't know who to bring the cake to). I hope most of the tip we left went to the kitchen because they're the stars of the show at pi shop!
Disappointing ... had expected more from the Sanchez franchise. Pizza and garlic bread pleasant but not wow ! Very overpriced .. 2 pizzas, some garlic bread , 275ml beer and a Diet Coke was £44. Definitely not value for money or a great enough ambiance to recommend or return ... sorry !
The food and wine was brilliant, as was our lovely waitress who was really friendly and attentative. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the manager who was rude and abrasive. The way he spoke to us really put a dampener on our evening. He would do well to realise that we are perfectly capable of hearing how he speaks to his employees and we heard everything he said about us while we were stood 2 metres away.
