Very simple menu of pizzas, deliciously prepared in a wood burning oven. Delicious!

Excellent pizza and salad. Very pleasant cool surroundings on a hot day. The service was excellent: there when needed and quietly in the background at other times

2nd time I've been to Pi shop, and at least the 5th time my partner has been. Every time is just as Good as the last (if not better), and I couldn't recommend it enough! Perfection 👌

We'd heard good things about Pi so we were keen to try it. The location is very nice, overlooking Bathurst Basin. It was pretty empty when we arrived, but the bustling bar next door made it feel continental and lively.

The service was professional, but also kinda indifferent.

The food was pretty good. We're spoiled for choice for decent pizza joints in Bristol, and this was definitely at the higher end, with a nice doughy base, and decent tomato sauce and cheese.

Where it fell apart for us was the bill at the end - £60! The pizza was good, but not good enough to be 50% more expensive than other restaurants. The stinger was that my son had the kids meal, with a drink, pizza and ice cream, for £5, and I couldn't see any difference between his pizza and mine, other than the toppings. This made it feel like I basically spent £13 on a bit of deli meat.

We really wanted to like this place, and while the food was good the price left a bitter taste. We'll be going elsewhere in future because we want to be able to afford our mortgage repayments.

We went for my sons 7th birthday. A very nice evening with great food and service. The children's menu is excellent value and was thoroughly enjoyed by all three of our children. We were early so enjoyed a table outside. The service was quick and attentive which with three hungry children was great.

Very disappointed unfortunately. We were booked in advance for a special retirement party for a colleague who had worked at the Bristol General Hospital for 30+ years. We made a request if the evening was nice we would like to sit outside. We were greeted with "its first come first served for outside seating". An email to this effect would have been appreciated, and not even a 'so sorry!' Instead we were tucked in a corner. We found the pizza's to be standard.

This was the fifth time I went to the Pi shop and it was brilliant like all the other 4 times :) The service is always excellent and the food is gorgeous. By far the best pizza in Bristol. Nice cocktails too :)

We really enjoyed it the first time we went here and thought it was great. However think the prices have gone up and didn't think the pizza was as nice as it was the first time (and compared to other Bristol Pizza places). There's a good drinks menu and a great venue but if you're picking a restaurant solely for the pizza I think there's better options.

Average tasting overpriced food in a nice environment. Pizza is better elsewhere in the city, at almost half the price.

Four of us dined at the PI Restaurant, which is basically a pizza restaurant with various accompaniments. Beautifully converted premises, attentive staff, fabulous location. The pizzas were okay, just not value for money. The wine was also too expensive for what it was. We are older ladies who are relatively easy to please, not picky or fussy, however we did feel a little short changed.

Always tasty but, sadly, no longer value for money. The prices have gone up considerably- £50 for 2 pizzas and 2 drinks is unreasonable. We won’t be rushing back, especially with so many other pizza options nearby.

Love it here. If you can get a seat outside on a sunny day there's nothing better than enjoying delicious pizza and a bottle of wine in the sunshine. I came here for a date night with my boyfriend and we decided to try out the pizza tasting menu. Shared starters, then 3 mini pizza of your choice to share, topped off with a little pudding. Was wonderful to sample small bits of all the yummy flavours and having some time in between each pizza and course was lovely - changed our evening from an hour or so to several hours enjoying each others company and the warm weather. It's not cheap, but the quality, service and ambience make this a great place to go with friends, colleagues or on a date.

Not our 1st visit, and as good as ever, We had the new dough base and it was just as good just slightly lighter. I note they are about to introduce more starters and revisit the pizza offering. Got to go back.

We were place next to fire extinguishers. PI needs to rethink such an area for its customers. Other than the seating place, PI is outstanding!

Overall, a disappointing experience.
Having had a lovely time at Casamia last year we really wanted to like the Pi Shop.
The pizza was soggy and impossible to keep on your fork. When we mentioned this to the staff we were told that they had a new mozerella supplier just that day and they knew that was causing it and they were still trying to get it right. It begs the question that if they knew this how come they were still prepared to offer a sub standard product to customers? They didn't charge us for our £3 salad, the least expensive item on our bill.
The young staff were somewhere on the scale between over confident and arrogant,
sincerity is not yet part of their vocabulary.
Maybe our expectations were raised to an unreasonable level at Casamia.
I'm happy to give them another chance to see if they have remedied the sogginess another day but my wife may take some persuading.

Two very good pizzas and some soft scoop ice cream (showing Pizza Hut how it should be done) to follow. Well-trained staff and a pleasant environment to soak up all the beer we'd been slowly sinking throughout the afternoon.
While Franco Manca is a great baseline for a city to have when it comes to pizza, this was a cut above. I look forward to returning.

We came here for my mother's birthday and there was no acknowledgement of this by our waiter. After our food arrived very quickly we asked for another bottle of wine and was told by our waiter "you won't have time to finish another bottle of wine before the next table arrives but you can sit at the bar". No apology or even a warning when we first sat down or made the booking that we only had just over an hour to eat and drink. The atmosphere was nice, cocktails and pizza, though an extremely limited menu and ice cream as the only option for dessert. The overall attitude and the rush to get us out was really disappointing. Especially after paying £28 a bottle of wine £16 a pizza you would expect a higher level of customer service.

Cracking Thursday night cocktail and the best pizza outside of Naples. The team are top notch and prices depend on how much you want to indulge. The ice cream this time had moved onto Black Forest, excellent.

We were really excited to try this place, but honestly, the starter was a warning sign. The garlic bread was almost tasteless; the garlic lacking a punch and there appeared to be a lack of salt in the dough. The pizzas when they arrived were just sloppy and the tomato sauce used was disappointingly bland.

The sole good bit was the G&T using a favourite local gin, but even that wasn't served as specified on the menu. Given the relationship of this place to Casamia (which had a good reputation, but now we are unlikely to visit), we were very disappointed... especially for a cost of £48.

We didn't like the atmosphere either, really. We felt it to be quite sterile and bland, but that's more a personal preference.

Pizza was overloaded with olive oil,
My partner wanted to show the Waiter how the pizza had olive oil dripping on to the plate and his response was that’s the pizza you ordered / the way they are served in Napoli.
Really disappointed with the service and attitude against “Italian” pizza
Will not be returning

Great Pizza, good selection and all beautifully prepared. Good dough, thin base but good sour dough crust. Opted for a starter but it was a bit too big. Leftovers boxed for us which was helpful and offered without asking. Pleasant staff. Lovely area, lots of development looks as if it will become a vibrant area. Would be great to visit on a warm day as outside eating overlooking water would be lovely.
