A lovely new discovery
Great casual place with delicious food. Great parking as well.
Our favorite place...hands down!!! We love Lex and Willem and your new hostess. Bravo!
Although we were the first table to be seated that evening it took 40 minutes to get our dinners. When they arrived the chicken piccata was in an oily overseasoned sauce, the chicken was dry and the linguine was almost non-existant. It was definitely not what I had read in previous reviews. My granddaughters fettucine alredo was good though. Maybe in non covid times it was good but I certainly wouldn't recommend it now nor would I go back.
We ate outside this past Saturday evening. Even on a hot day, the dining area was perfectly comfortable. The bread served hot with garlic butter on the side was amazing! We had a pasta dish and a cauliflower crust pizza. We finished the evening with a great cup of cappucino. I recommend that you give this place a try!
Excellent food and service. Only thing I can complain about was the sauce for the short rib ravioli was too salty.
Pretty regular food, the service took forever and there were three tables with people.
Food was innovative and not the usual Italian Will return.
We are regulars here and like it a lot. Very family friendly and always a nice experience.
Love this new restaurant
Great attentive service
Lots of choices for everyone
Great food and service
Veal was dried out. Never received my side dish. One dish did not come out hot and had to be sent back.
To loud inside , poor service, and very salty !!
Try sitting outside so you can converse.
Great service and food
We had a fun evening Restaurant has a huge menu very reasonably priced lots of choices for everyone
Lovely space we will definitely be back
Good food and great service
Birthday for father in law. Good food and value
Bartenders and wait staff need better training. Everyone is very nice but doesn’t always run smoothly.
While looking for a new restaurant, we opened Open Table and found Piatto Bravo. Our entire dining experience was exceptional! Everything thing from our Caesar Salad, appetizer, Parmigiana Di Melanzane, to our entrees, Pappardelle Short Rib and Gamberoni Risotto, was so delicious! The service was very helpful and efficient! We will be back and hopefully will have enough room for the homemade desserts!
It was my first time at Piatto Bravo and probably my last. The food was sub par and we asked the waiter for assistance. The barrata appetizer was wonderful but the main dish was really poor. We ordered Linguine and clams. The linguine was ok, the sauce a bit creamy the clams inedible - salty and bitter. Frozen maybe? Not sure. The price is super reasonable and the portions very small, so fitting for the price - more like tapas then dinner portions. Not impressed at all. We went for happy hour and the wine prices were great. Maybe a place for a pizza and not dishes. Disappointed :(
2nd time here..... both times were great. Some of the local have been bashing the place about service and that it is not 'Authentic' enough for them... Both times I had great service and yummy food... our only comment was that the Mozz sticks could be hotter / gooeyer
Great food and prices. The food took along time, but had a great dinner regardless.
Assuming this is a new restaurant.
Food was meh, my pasta was gummy and bland.
Friend had a dish with chicken she said was rubbery.
Service was disorganized.
The manager came around at the end of the meal , when we informed her of the issues she was very apologetic and comped the offending meals.
So, I might just wait a bit and try again as they seemed to really care.
Our server had a big party, but he still tried hard.
My husband's chicken was chewy. I had salad which is hard to mess up, but we try it again.
Food was ok nothing great but nothing bad, for the value it was ok.
Service was bad, it got so bad I had to call restaurant from my cell phone to have waitress come back to the table to refill drinks and to bring more napkins and utensils.
DO NOT sit in outside terrace.
You will be left for dead.
Food was average & service was terrible. Server barely checked on us & he was rude.
Server ruined our experience. Will not be returning.
Great food with a big menu. Pizzas looked great and regret not trying one.
We went here for Christmas Eve and were very happy with our choice. I ordered the gnocchi but asked them to do a mushroom version and it was absolutely delicious. My husband got a calzone and also was very pleased. The menu is innovative and added some interest beyond just the "traditional" Italian you find a lot in our area.
The new decor in the space looks great. It's hip but not pretentious. The bar isn't too big but I did see a nice happy hour special so I would like to give it a try.
The service was good - no complaints there. The prices were very reasonable especially when I'm used to paying overblown South Florida prices.
Welcome to the neighborhood Piatto Bravo. We are happy to have you here and looking forward to many more meals and good times at your restaurant.
Found our food to be very bland. Service was good and portions were decent but our main courses were tasteless.
The restaurant is located in a very busy shopping center in Wellington. Lots of traffic and shoppers for stores like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.
The restaurant appears bright, but cavernous when you walk in. There are many tables scattered about. It would be a more intimate space if they had the addition of booths to break up this the dining space.
There is a full bar and appears to have happy hour nightly.
The staff was very friendly. It was slow, so we picked a table on the perimeter of the room. The bartender came over...he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the happy hour drinks and daily specials.
We had upgraded happy hour cosmos and a martini....they had very little taste except for vodka. We ordered an appetizer from a picture on the menu...what we received did not look anything like that picture. Again it was okay, nothing special. Breadsticks warm, soft, no character.....it was accompanied by a flavored butter that was tasty.
Our entrees were not complicated.....however they were delivered about 5 mins after we ordered, but prior to our appetizer arriving. They rectified that....but I wonder how much fresh prep is done to get the food out that fast! I believe it arrived before our drinks!
My husband had zoodles with the special fra Diavolo sauce...he enjoyed it. I had bucatini cecci do pepe. It was prepared well. They portions were just right for people who don’t want to box up leftovers!
All and all, we wanted to try new restaurants in the area. It was okay...not sure we will be back.
Really enjoyed our repeat experience at Piatto. Suggest including a small side of pasta as an option.
Server was polite but very forgetful. Food was definitely sub par to be polite and nice. Even the cocktails came out wrong. For their sake, I hope they get their act together soon. Season is here. Food and service like this not gonna work. Price is a little above moderate, definitely not outrageous but definitely not worth what we got and how we got it.
I love the convenience and the outdoor seating but not the food or service.
Great food and drinks
Great food, friendly staff.
I've had lunch at Piatto Bravo before, but this was our first time in for dinner. They have a very large menu, but it is well-designed and easy to follow, with lots of choices, including some health-conscious items such as the option of cauliflower crust for pizza. We all enjoyed what we ordered, as well as some selections from the well-chosen wine list. Our server was extremely good. Impressive attention to detail. Piatto Bravo has a casual dining feel, but the service (at least this evening) was what you would expect in a white table cloth, fine dining restaurant. Fresh silverware at each course, for example. A simple thing, but not often encountered in casual dining restaurants. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. I look forward to my next visit.
We went here for a weekend night dinner with the family. We started off with the Arancini, which was a crowd pleaser, but was unimpressed with the sauce that it came with. Continued with a salad, zucchini pasta dish and an order of spaghetti. The food was ok -- our favorite was the zucchini pasta dish -- but nothing that I'd come back special for. I think it's a good place to go for a family, if everyone has different taste preferences -- but, I wouldn't make a special trip to go back.
Food and service outstanding. Atmosphere was too “cafeteria-ish”
A new favorite! We had Friday 5:30 reservations and were surprised to find few tables occupied while we were there - after dining, I'm baffled as to why this place isn't slammed noon til night! Great menu with your typical Italian dishes, but also some unexpected finds, like 4 varieties of aranchini, several options of house-made pasta, gourmet mac-n-cheese combos, and made-to-order pizza. We started with coconut crusted calamari (delicious!), and ordered short rib ravioli (that I didn't get to taste before my husband ate them all), fettuchine alfredo, mac n cheese, and spaghetti with meatballs. All were excellent - only complaint was heavy seasoning in the meatballs. Dessert didn't disappoint either - the warm cookie was a peanut butter/chocolate chip, which I found heavy (but kids/hubs inhaled), and nutella mousse - both were large portions. Reasonable prices. Server was attentive, especially with allergies at our table, which unfortunately, doesn't happen consistently at other places. What topped off the service for us was personal attention by the owner/chef - welcoming, making sure we were happy, even showing us how they make the ravioli (the kitchen can be viewed from the tables through a window) - really put the overall experience over the top! We will be back - and highly recommend it!
We ordered salads and entrees. Unfortunately they tried to serve the entrees with the salad. We had them redo the entrees and serve them later.
I asked for anchovies with my salad and they brought me two (2) for which I was charged
$2.00. Most restaurants would not have charged me. My pasta Putanesca, which is supposed to be spicy, was bland.
All in all not a very good experience and we will probably not be returning.
