Piccola Cucina Osteria - Spring St.
Friendly service with a buzzy atmosphere, all in a typical Italian restaurant setting. It is matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy which is one of the keys to the success of the restaurant.
Great care is taken by the chef in choosing the freshest ingredients according to season.
Join us for our lunch special Monday-Friday, $11.

Most authentic Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food tasted homemade and delicious, I even started to crave it again the next day. Service was great, everyone was welcoming and kind. Ambiance was lively, the place reminded me a lot of the restaurants in Europe. Overall AMAZING.
Great experience - pasta was amazing. Bronzino was not as good, stick to pasta.
Great price for lunch special!
Fantastic! Like being in the Italian countryside!!!!!
Amazing pasta and experience. Would go back over and over again!
The food was okay but the service was rushed and not very friendly. The restaurant was so small it was uncomfortable to be in there long which was fine because the staff was rushing you out anyway. They also couldn’t find my reservation and kept saying it might have been at the other place before finally finding it.
My go to spot for fresh pasta! Amazing dishes and seafood as well. Roberto is awesome!
Delicious food and sincere service. Pasta was fresh and fast.
Very small restaurant, not comfortable but good food and good price.
Excellent food and service. Place is very small. We will definitely go again.
Fast service, food is so delicious and comes out quick. Very small, packed space and noisy but worth it for the tasty food and value. I plan to dine here often.
Delicious food! Definitely will visit again!
Great dinner, our server was fantastic! Small restaurant but very good.
Seating is a bit tight, but the food and services were amazing. I’d go back. Better make reservation.
Very small dining room service was excellent food was excellent waiting area nonexistent
Wonderful and relaxing time with the best Italian food- the sauce the bread the oils and the fresh pasta which is a big enough portion for two on a romantic date. Save so much room for the best Cannoli outside of Sicily. Would for sure return to this treasure chest of delightful cuisine and wonderful hosts in service.
The food was outstanding!! The portion sizes were large, too. I am definitely going back.
Great little place! The food and service were fantastic. We liked the fact that it’s very small but may not be for everyone but for us it is always about the food and service. Both were exceptional!
the food is some of the most delicious, authentic Sicilian food you will find anywhere - outside and INSIDE of Sicily.
Always the best
Was expecting more given the ratings and reviews I read on Open Table. We started with the eggplant parm, which was served close to room temperature and was still pretty good. We had the lobster pasta and the ravioli - again, both were good, but not great. Best part of the meal were the gratis canolis. Overall, food was disappointing and while we were more than willing to sacrifice dining comfort and the incredibly “cozy” dining accommodations, we didn’t feel that the food was worth the experience.
good morning my love you have been doing good things are going to be done by the end
This was highly recommended by an Italian friend and it did not disappoint. Exceptional service and food. When we come back to the city we will definitely dine here again!
One of the best pasta in Nyc and for sure the best in SoHo.
The restaurant is marvelous.
Highly recomended!!!
Incredible food! My only complaint (and it is NOT a big one) is that we were seated at a very small table, squished against a wall on one side and very close to the table beside ours (like barely enough room to get between them and I am not a large person). But that is not that big a deal, considering how wonderful the food and service was.
Absolutely wonderful!! Food was great, as was the service!!I see they are moving to larger quarters and I’m so happy for me!!
My favorite new restaurant. New to me that is. The best Sicilian food I've found outside of Sicily!
Food was excellent service was top notch and price for the quality of the food was phenomenal totally recommend it..
Tiny spot but amazing lunch deal and incredible Tuscan fare! I don’t know how the kitchen does it! Incredible lively environment with music and a friendly hands on owner.
Too much hype about this place....not all that. Very small too...sea bass too salty and risotto too dry...
I have been to NYC many times, just found this hidden gem, most amazing Italian in the City.
It is very very small restaurant that you have to silde your table to sit. But it is really worth it to try.
The squid ink pasta was amazing!
Overall it was great experience, except packed table and chair.
All of the food was amazing, the atmosphere was cozy and lively, and the service was impeccable.
Positives: quaint/small environment (if you like that and we did), pasta was excellent, wine was good.
Negatives: risotto was abit expensive and not very good (just rice and a few mussels) without that much taste. Service could have been more attentive and welcoming.
We loved everything about this place, the food, the staff, the other qs
Best real Italian food in New York! Cozy, small place, amazing service.
I love this place
We loved the restaurant with its tiny space, nice food and great ambiance. Noise levels can be high though due to the amount of people crammed up in such a small room. Still would recommend strongly
