My wife, two children, and I recently dined at Piccolino Collingham , and it was an experience that truly stood out. As a gluten-free family, we’re often cautious when dining out, but the exceptional care and service we received here made it a worry-free and delightful evening. From the moment we arrived, the staff were not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They took great care to ensure that every dish was safe for our dietary needs without sacrificing taste or quality. For our main course, my wife and I shared a beautifully prepared chateaubriand. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, it was a meal to remember. For our children, the restaurant offered fantastic options. One of them enjoyed a gluten-free pizza topped with pepperoni, ham, and vegan cheese. The crust was crispy and light, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. Our other child chose the grilled chicken and fries, which were seasoned perfectly and served piping hot. Both dishes were a hit, leaving no room for complaints from our little ones! We rounded off the meal with a dairy-free ice cream for the children, which they loved, and finished the evening with delicious, rich coffee for the adults. The coffee was strong, aromatic, and the perfect way to end a fantastic meal. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for families. The staff’s attention to detail and genuine care made us feel incredibly well looked after. In summary, Piccolino’s is a must-visit for anyone looking for a gluten-free dining experience without compromise. The food was exceptional, the service impeccable, and the overall experience left us eager to return. Highly recommended!

Staff were friendly and helpful- one of our guests was in a wheelchair. We had a lovely Sunday Roast with all the trimmings. Would definitely go again.

We book at this restaurant regularly, on this occasion the service wasn’t great and the restaurant was not very busy. One of the regular starters we have had completely changed and the bread was soggy. We want to continue coming to this restaurant but the standards need to be there all the time.
