   Poor service it was quiet and we waited almost 30 minutes for food order. My chicken gnocchi dish had a very small piece of chicken. Disappointed

   The Friday set menu at a discounted price is very good value. We do not eat meat and there was a good choice of dishes on the set menu. 3 courses and a drink for £30 per head is fantastic for a place like Piccolinos. Service was friendly and efficient and together with well executed dishes using quality ingredients. We will be returning soon.

   My cod dish was very oily and tasteless as discussed with staff. Dish was taken off the bill.

   We went to Piccolino for my wife's birthday. The food and service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and made sure it was a special occasion.

   I arrived on time for my booking . I stood waiting for front of house to be acknowledged for 10 minutes. I was completely ignored. Then I was told a table needed to be cleared which Took several more minutes.. the food was good. The waitress was very good. But the front of house service was poor. I was also reported as a no-show. A member of staff said they were busy and had tried to cancel my booking but they couldn’t override the computer system.

    Our server was so nice she was super friendly and made the experience much better. The man who greeted us at the desk was a little cold and didn’t offer to take our coats as we saw other servers doing for different tables.
