If you like Italian food this is the place to go. The restaurant was a bit noisy for our sensibilities but the staff were excellent, efficient and attentive. Delighted with the food but the yellow tuna tartare was stupendous. We will return

We ate late on a Sunday. 9.30 pm. We have always had a great experience at piccolinos heddon street, but on this occasion we found it to be very uninspiring. The staff looked disinterested, scruffy and the service was shabby. We normally get fantastic service with friendly staff and there is usually a great atmosphere. The menu has changed and was very expensive for what we received. My husband had 1 prawn in his seafood pasta and another prawn that had been chopped into pieces. Overall it was very disappointing and expensive. We won’t go back.

Food poor. Everything was dry. Garlic bread had very little oil on it. Lasagne looked like it was leftovers from the weekend. Very little meat in the bolognaise. The service was very slow .

First time eating here and the decor is lovely' the tables are a little close to one another so if wanting privacy maybe not the place. The service was unbelievable from the lovely host who seats you to the lovely waiters. Food was super fresh and super tasty with a nice gap between courses. Would 100% visit again and recommend to family and friends!

Absolutely the best place I’ve ever been! Service was beyond outstanding and they tended to everything we needed and more alongside being the friendliest and most kind people. Food was so delicious and fresh. The interior was stunning and so festive. I will most definitely be going back and I can’t wait to do so. Highly recommend this place.

Meeting up with the girls for a late lunch that flowed into early dinner service. The service, food, cocktails and atmosphere was superb. We did get some "when are you leaving?" glances/stares from one particular member of the staff, but was never asked to leave.

Great service and busy enough for a Monday lunchtime - good atmosphere without being too noisy. Great food - good portions and delicious. Highly recommend the parmigiana and lasagne.

Amazing place to have a Dinner, refurbished, outstanding in the heart of Regent Street. Was my wife's birthday and they gave us an amazing cake and they sang too. I recommend Linguine lobster that is really nice to share. I will be back soon.

I called ahead to let them know it was my partners birthday and they assured me this was not a problem and they would write a message on the plate. This failed to happen when our desserts came out and it was only after I’d paid the bill that someone came up with a slice of tiramisu with a candle in it. However, a lady then came over to say that it had nuts in it (I’d told them I had a nut allergy so they were aware when we first ordered food). So not only did they forget the gesture, they then gave a dessert which was wholly unsuitable for us. Luckily the lady had come over to warn us before we had started eating. Add to this really slow service - over 35 min wait for mains and another long wait for the bill and to pay, the meal was disappointing especially as it was for a special occasion.

Lovely surroundings. Food was not outstanding. Tricolour was all tomato with a slice of avacado and tiny bits of mozerella sprinkled on. A favourite of mine but worst I have ever had Service was extremely poor. I will not be returning

Have visited this establishment, on and off, over the past 15-20 years or so and it has generally always delivered good food with quality service at a reasonable price. The decor is now perhaps beginning to show some need for some refurbishment however, given the quality of everything else, the decor is no big issue. If I have one quibble it is with the somewhat high price of wine by the glass.

Been there for my birthday and it could’ve been more beautiful. The terrace was so beautiful and although the weather wasn’t great there were heaters everywhere. The service was excellent and I even received a cake for my birthday which definitely took me by surprise. Overall I definitely recommend it and I will definitely come back!

Extremely disappointing. Very expensive meal for poor food. Bruschetta was on stale white bread, no oil, not toasted, no taste. Tuna seemed more like a frozen tuna steak and had no taste. Really should have complained. Have just seen that there was a lunch menu for £22.50 (two courses) which we were not offered - and had three of our four food choices on it - which makes the experience even worse to know we've also overpaid. There is absolutely no excuse for not offering this menu, especially in the current environment. Would not recommend. There are much better Italian restaurants.

Piccolos has just launched a new menu, the choices and dishes are superb. Andrea the General manager is an amazing host, you genuinely feel like you are dining in at his home. I would recommend the seabass and also the Truffle pasta.

Very poor service, wait staff were very distracted and rude manager with the bald head. Had to ask for the menu a few times. Staff also looked like they were eating in the restaurant during breaks. Food was sub par. Go somewhere else if you feel like Italian food.

Nice environment, The guy who served us inside Houssem was very helpful and attentive, food was amazing, special mention to Truffle Pasta, Lobster Linguine and Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Definitely I will be back.

I have been here a few times. The service was not as good as in previous visits. I had to call over a waiter several times to either take our orders or bring something that they had forgotten. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. I would still go back as it is a lovely restaurant. Hopefully next time normal service will resume.

Very sumptuous food - beautifully presented and very tasty! Impressive, food and drinks menu selection. Excellent and attentive service. We sat in the outdoor terrace and it was simply lovely, as the weather was glorious! Would certainly recommend and visit again!
