Wonderful night. The food, ambience and service was excellent. Our server Colm was very attentive, friendly but unobtrusive. Most enjoyable and would highly recommend the whole experience. A great night
A rich and wonderful combination of excellent friendly service, good quality food and healthy portions, great ambience delivering a near perfect evening for us (couple looking for casual but special eating out experience). Have eaten at Pichet a number of times before and each time I return the experience reminds me why I come back each time. Highly recommend.
Went for cocktails and an appetizer. The staff was wonderful and the ambience was causal and trendy. Would definitely go back!!!
We had a lovely lunch and everything was very nice, however we had a voucher that was a gift to us. We tried to pay and they said that they could no longer take this voucher as they had changed their machines and the new machine was not reading our gift card. We were supposed to be contacted by someone regarding this and we are still waiting for that follow up call. It took the shine off what would have been a lovely afternoon.
We had dinner in Pichet the previous weekend and found it excellent so I felt very sure about booking it for lunch yesterday as we were hosting an American friend . But, while the service was very good we were all disappointed with the main course, especially. The guinea fowl was overpowered by the almost indigestable barley and my husband was not impressed with the organic salmon and felt it was overcooked . Soup and terrine were very good but I felt the sauce was too sharp with the mussels. Ils Flottante was excellent. While we chose the cheapest white wine, we expect a reasonable taste but this fell far short.
I was particularly disappointed because I had insisted on going to Pichet with my previous experiences . the other times had been for dinner but I did not expect such a deviation on standard for lunch .
Great food and drinks - delicious mussels and tartare! Loved it
Outstanding cuisine with great company. Staff were friendly.
Excellent Food, Attentive Service, Lovely atmosphere
I have been to Pichet many times over the years and it never fails to surprise me with consistently excellent food.
We went here for dinner our final night in Dublin. The food was incredible - especially the lamb - and we had a great experience.
Very friendly staff and great food. Lots of buzz on a rainy Saturday night. We very much enjoyed our dinner in Pichet and we will be back.
We were at Pichet with our children for my husband's 60th birthday and having eaten there before, I knew that it was ideal for this celebration. The food was outstanding and the service we received was very professional and courteous. The restaurant was fully booked as it was Saturday night and there was a lovely atmosphere in the room. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pichet for any special occasion.
Our meal was absolutely amazing.. would highly recommend dining here..
Amazing rustic restaurant. The service made me feel like royalty. The waiters had learnt off specials and had an amazing knowledge about the wine we were drinking. One of the best places to eat in Dublin.
Excellent food in a lovely ambiance with friendly service
Excellent restaurant - staff and food both outstanding. Great central location too.
Great experience overall, the food, wine, cocktails, atmosphere and service were excellent. The service in particular was impeccable, our waiter was friendly, attentive (but not overly so) and very knowledgeable/helpful regarding the menu and specials. I really couldn't fault the experience.
Had a lovely pre theatre meal here. Astonishing standard and value for money.
Lovely seasoned, tasty +++++ food cooked to perfection. Early bird fantastic value. Lovely ambiance.
Both the food and service was excellent, I would recommend this restaurant.
Food is excellent. All side orders cost extra which I think should be included. Wine is a bit on the pricey side.
Great venue. Great food. Lovely relaxed environment. Love it and can't wait to go again soon.
The steak was great, but the starters not as good. It was noisy in there og little bit overpriced.
A really pleasant meal with very friendly staff, but a large group arrived and I was glad we were about to leave(noisewise)..
We went to pichet for the pre theatre menu, which is good value. The service was very good and the food was great - despite a limited menu choice, all of our starters and mains were delicious and portion sizes were perfect. Will definitely return.
Cozy restaurant with great service and good selection of wines. We went for an anniversary dinner and I would definitely recommend for a date or celebratory dinner.
excellent service and food.
really good value for quality of food and service.
Nice bistro atmosphere.
Had a nice duck for dinner.
Peanut butter parfait for dessert was a great choice.
Reservation is advised.
Menu is comprehensive and easily adapted for any food allergies. Staff on the floor are very helpful.
Tables are quite close to each other, so you have to raise your voice to be heard.
First time to Pichet and it didn’t disappoint. The food and wine were excellent and the staff and atmosphere just as pleasant. Will be back again
The night overall was wonderful. The early bird is fantastic value and will definitely be returning for it again! The ambiance was lovely and relaxed and the staff were more than helpful. The only comment that I would make was myself and my partner both had the mussels and were slightly disappointed. Everything else was excellent and we will definitely recommend to others!
Great meal, our server from Croatia looked after us perfectly
friendly & courteous
very enjoyable lunch
Went here for Valentine’s Day for the first time. The set menu was fantastic. Portion size was generous and everything was equally delicious. The manager (I think) served some of our dishes and he was excellent and very knowledgeable about the ingredients used.
Very good will definitely be back, we were really looked after by the host/server, was so accommodating.
Had the Valentine’s Day set menu. Cocktails were tasty however food was nothing special and definitely not worth €118 which automatically included a 12% service charge. We witnessed 3 incidents of staff having “talks” with other which seemed like discussions which should not have been on the restaurant floor. Soup was ok but not served very hot, gnocchi was tasty and so was the peanut parfait. Service otherwise was good with attentive waiters.
Service was slowish but adequate.
The pork belly had quite a lot of cartilage which made it uncomfortably crunchy
Have had good meals here before, this wasn't one of them
The service was superb and the food was excellent! Staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be back in the future!
We arrived and felt as though our booking had been forgotten. We had to wait for our table and were sat between two very large, loud groups of people. The food was lovely but the ambience was awful. I'm sure that this was a departure from the restaurant's usual high standards but we were so disappointed.
Beautiful food, served promptly and with care, with very good Early Bird options which we appreciated. We'll be back.
