We went for my partner’s birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and service staff lovely. One had the regular menu and one did the vegan menu. The veg options often feel like scraps or after thoughts and not a real meal when doing set menus at other restaurants but not here. This was a proper delicious meal for both of us. We each did the weekly wine pairing which was lovely. This was our first time but we will definitely be back.
Fabulous food & wine
Service is relaxed and friendly. Food is immaculate in both taste and presentation. Fantastic.
Took my parents here for my mum’s 75th Birthday. She loved the experience. The menu was interesting/tasty, wine delicious, presentation thoughtful and the service friendly/diligent. Highly recommended!
Typical east London, £50-fixed-menu + wine with no particular outstanding characteristics.
We had high expectations given a number of the reviews and understood that it was a tasting menu. Significant gaps between each course in over 2+ hours spent there and the staff whilst pleasant were not particularly attentive. We thought that when we were asked if there was a special occasion that there may have been some recognition of our anniversary. Nothing at all. Overall, we felt it was very much style over substance. Alas we won’t be returning.
The second time visiting, it was excellent and amazing service!
Food was interesting and tasted good and the place is cute and intimate, didn’t think it was nearly worth the cost and the service was a bit awkward, but probably difficult due to masks
Incredible food, wonderful service, laid back atmosphere.
Such a lovely meal and so nice not to feel rushed.
Wonderful service. incredible umeboshi ice cream!! Great for veggies too.
Amazing! Great food and drink at a great price! Highly recommend.
Been wanting to dine here for awhile, so glad we did. Absolutely amazing, great food, great service and great value
A fantastic meal with a delicious and clever menu.
Beautiful menu that was made even more enjoyable by the wonderfully friendly and informative staff. Thank you for a memorable evening!
Pidgin is generally an excellent restaurant with clever and often unconventional flavour combinations
Great food, great service - it’s a very nice little tucked away restaurant. One of my favourites
Amazing evening, 100% recommend. We loved the food.
Delightful. Amazing seasonal food, I believe the menu changes every week. Lovely service. They put a little discrete candle on my dad's dessert plate after I told them it was his birthday. Would definitely go back!
Everything perfect for a birthday date lunch, I’m very happy with everything
Enjoyed the food, service was excellent and good value - will definitely recommend
absolutely amazing experience - food was innovative and tasty, and the staff were so knowledgeable
The food was delicious, lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff . Great selection of drinks.
Fantastic food in a small, intimate and friendly restaurant. Overall an experience that bears comparison with fine dining restaurants at twice the price. Highly recommended.
Amazing food and ambience, great service as always
Really interesting tasting menu and brilliant service. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful innovative food served graciously in friendly surroundings … we live quite away from this restaurant but it’s definitely worth making the journey.
Good to be back!
Some incredible dishes, the most memorable of which was the delicious sweetcorn parfait!
The most Incredible food wonderful service and amazing music!!
Wine pairing excellent. Food a little overpriced.
Overall good. Some dishes were great others seemed a bit disconnected.
Delicious food - definitely go if you are thinking about it
Pidgin is truly one of the finest restaurants in London
The food was good but very small portions and a bit overpriced for what it was. We liked the duck with cherries dish. We felt three sweet dishes is a bit much though, would have preferred one extra savoury dish instead. Service was okay but the bottle of wine we ordered arrived at the table already open and it looked like there was a little missing. We then got overcharged for a glass of sweet wine which was £6.50 on the menu and appeared as £8 on the bill. Also, the vintage on the wine changed from the one that appeared on the wine list but we were not told about it. When we mentioned all of this to the waiter, he did not apologize or seem surprised, he purely amended the bill.
Simply incredible amazing taste combinations... I even ate the pea sorbet and I usually detest peas!! Everything is faultless and beautiful
Spectacular meal as ever at this knockout neighbourhood spot.
Amazing from start to finish.
First time Pigeons (?) for Saturday lunch! Outstanding. Service and ambiance were excellent. The menu was very well explained and we felt in safe hands. The food was just excellent. Full of serious fun and surprise- we like a bit of magic! Thanks again, and look forward to dropping in again in the near future.
