Pidgin Ratings and Reviews
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Pidgin last week. The food was delicious and creative. The courses flowed seamlessly from one to the next but we didn’t feel too rushed. The beverage pairings were extremely well matched (and very tasty!).
The restaurant itself was cosy yet very classy, Ana seas the perfect setting for a beautiful evening.
The waiters were friendly and knowledgable.
Definitely one not to miss. We had a really wonderful evening and will hopefully come back again one day!
Pidgin is going from strength to strength. Top food in quality, creativity and presentation. This success means that you have to book well in advance and therefore dont know what you will eat (weekly fixed menu). Not really a problem since I never had a bad meal at Pidgin. As commented earlier, for me, it beats any two star and many three stars any day.
We had a fantastic dinner at Pidgin. The quality of food was superb and the service excellent - attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant feels like a local spot, but the food is some of the best in London. We will definitely be back again to try the ever changing menu and also recommend the wine pairing, which was excellent value.
Visited here last week with a friend as a Christmas treat to ourselves. Food was fantastic and well worth the money. The amuse bouches and homemade limoncello were nice little extras to round out the meal. Space is small and busy but atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable.
Another near perfect dining experience at this local favourite. This restaurant is the perfect size: never too busy that it feels crowded, but yet still a buzz. Delicious dishes with unusual ingredients, each one a marvel. We would like to have been given more than 1 slice of bread per person in the bread basket (as it, and the accompanying 'brown butter' was delicious!). Also, as non-drinkers, we would have liked to be offered an alternative to limoncello to round off the evening. If I was feeling less picky I would say you can't fault the place!
Big fan of this cozy restaurant. Real attention to detail so even though the restaurant is quite small, it still felt cozy and elegant. The restaurant itself was cozy and comfortable, service was good, and the food was very good - real attention to detail and the flavours were so complex. I would highly recommend! As well, I came here for a special occasion and told the staff a few weeks beforehand that I wanted a candle in the dessert. They sent me a text a few days before the booking reassuring me that they were aware of this. I know I'm saying this a lot, but it's because it is hard to find such service in London. Good attention to detail. I would highly recommend!
An incredible gourmet experience! Each course it's a perfect balance of flavour and texture. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and although one of the wines wasn't to our taste, the overall experience is still 5*+.
We (my partner and myself) both agreed that this meal is one of the best we have eaten even on international level. The service was friendly and professional, the ambiance refreshingly informal and relaxed for a top restaurant.
