Our second time was as blissful as the first time - both occasions very special with old friends that we had not seen in 20 years visiting from overseas - and both we and our friends were extremely delighted. The food was excellent; a nice 4 course meal with some amuse-bouches in between and a very fitting wine pairing. The courses looked amazing and the taste would then be another delightful surprise. I found the food enormously fragrant but not overwhelmingly and the palettes were ranging subtly in each meal containing a bit of acid, sweetness, sour & salty with good bite and just the right quantities. The only thing I missed a tiny bit was spice / punch. The desert composition bold me over; cheese mouses and ice cream with an amazing texture, just amazing. Even the fresh mint tea seemed to taste better than normal. Service was also top; friendly (but not annoyingly over friendly!) and very competent - and well dressed. The whole meal was pure joy and such a contrast to the sloppy service one gets in most trendy places these days! Definitely amongst my top 5 restaurants in London and top 10 globally!
Absolutely love Pidgin! Anniversary dinners, birthday dinners, father's day... we've done them all and will continue to come back. The menu is always very innovative and exciting, keep it up guys.
uninspiring over-rated restaurant save your money and go anywhere else
Simply one of the best restaurants in London. I would recommend this over most of my Michelin star experiences.
Great menu-wine pairing was perfect. Service amazing. Had such a good time.
Every time I come here I'm so impressed. The food is amazing without fail and the wine flight is excellent. Service great too!
A bit off the beaten track but nonetheless a delightful destination for serious foodies! What a lovely experience!
The food was innovative & delicious, drinks were amazing, service lovely. Certainly not an “everyday” restaurant, but the perfect place for a special occasion!
4th time of visiting, will be going again.
Brilliant, can't be faulted.
We went to Pidgin for a birthday celebration and it didn’t disappoint. The food was well thought out and delicious. Great local restaurant with a good ambiance
Pidgin is one of the best places I have ever eaten. It's so incredibly creative and surprising!
They have a new menu every week; they deliver every single time.
Me and my boyfriend went there 2 days ago to celebrate our anniversary, there were two main ingredients on the menu he's not fond of, but he absolutely loved everything despite not daring getting close to cucumber or bananas usually!
If there's ever place to be open-minded and allow yourself to be served whatever delightful options the chefs recommend, it's here.
Absolutely recommend to everyone!
Food was superb - service was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.
Nothing terribly wrong here - just coming in at a totally unjustifiable price point. Much better value to be had elsewhere for your £49. They have a new menu every week; they need to settle on some core dishes and not experiment with everything - dishes lacked cohesion.
A truly outstanding meal. So much effort, the right amount of food with each course a surprise and so beautifully presented. You have to put your trust in the chef when you can’t pick the food but that trust is well rewarded here.
The best meal I've eaten this year. Great food Adolfo doing a great job can't wait to come back.
ah well, it was my 7th time but unfortunately probably the last.. the food is not up to previous standards, they have raised the price of the menu the 5th time in the past 1.5 years i believe?i started going there when it was £35/menu and the original chef was there... food was incredible and exquisite. The sauces used to be rich, the main course were exciting! the last two times i went the food was just bland, last weeks duck was literally basic. higher prices, lower standards - for £49/person i was disappointed. it was also the 3rd time my pescatarian friend got a veg risotto(!) as a main as a substitute for meat. come on, £49 to have 3 small veg dishes with seeds sprinkled on top?? is this why the star is gone? its a shame as i looooved Pidgin, i have suggested them to all my friends, took many people there over the past years. please Pidgin, stop for a second, breathe, go back to old times, dont be greedy.. </3
The four of us had a flawless beautiful meal. Highly original, with imaginative seasoning and flavours. Always surprising, with great textures, and delicate plating but not over-presented. We opted to choose our own wines which were delicious and fairly priced. Attentive but un-fussy service, relaxed atmosphere . A fun night with very special food.
By far my favourite restaurant in London. Could not recommend it enough.
The food was absolutely delicious and service impeccable.
The waiters had very detailed information about each dish and the wine pairings and were very happy to help.
Each dish was beautifully plated with attention to detail and every mouthful was divine.
The ambience is cosy and relaxed.
We had a lovely Sunday night meal at Pidgin. I found it by accident when I was driving past and looked it up online. The menu was really interesting and changes every week. It is a small restaurant but the ambience was great, with good music and nice surroundings. The staff were very friendly and polite and offered advice with drinks parings. They were also very helpful in offering alternatives for different dietary requirements. Delicious cocktails. Each dish was beautiful with interesting ingredients that I haven't come across before (and of course they were really tasty!)
Highly recommend Pidgin.
Took my boyfriend here for dinner. It was amazing! Couldn't fault a single thing. All four courses (and the extra) were perfect and the wine pairings were spot on! Quite pricey - but worth it!
Great food all evening - the only issue was the portion size. We left feeling a bit hungry (neither of us are big eaters, but the portions were very small, albeit delicious).
High-quality food and wine. Food servings on the small side. Wine servings to accompany on the large side. (Both lovely). Not cheap but a real treat. Very memorable dishes.
Fabulous meal, service faultless.
My only qualm was that we did the wine tasting with it and the glasses of wine were way too big - I was so drunk by the end I could barely see.
The wines were EXCELLENT but a little next time?!
Always a great experience at Pidgin. It was my second time here and it did not disappoint. Service is thoughtful here and I love being able to enjoy and savour my meal. Not being rushed out and the intimate nature of the soft restaurant is great. All the little details are noticed - from the plates used and extra dishes served to the candle and lighting nature sounds in the bathroom. Very pleased and highly recommended to all my friends.
Creative dishes focused on seasonal products, with unusual but very well balanced and thoughtful Anglo/Asian flavours. All beautifully prepared with the exception of my Pomme Anna, which was sadly undercooked yet somehow soggy (somehow, my husband’s serving has fine)! I appreciated fact that so much thought had been given to dietary requirements, that chef had taken the time to find a creative and beautiful alternative rather than simply leaving off the elements I couldn’t eat.
Excellent service, especially from the young waiter. The price does rack up a bit when you add wine, given the relatively small portions (not that we left at all hungry, but those with a larger than average appetite might...)
Lovely relaxed atmosphere - we’ll be back. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening!
Perfect spot for a lazy foodie. The degustation menu is well designed, perfectly executed and paired with intersting and easy wines.
The space is small And at the same time cozy and minimalist... but bathroom nicely done as well... proper handtowels are a nice touch. Staff is super on the ball and works the tight space well.
Catch it if you Can!
Absolutely delicious and full of surprises! A real treat!
Perfect meal. Great service and food. Doesn't get much better
Great food and friendly staff. Wasn’t a fan of all the wines in the pairing but loved the wines I ordered instead
Excellent as always, got to be one of the best restaurants in all of London. The food is stunning! You’ll read the menu and think I may not like that, then you try it and it never fails to disappoint
The food was some of the best that I've had in London. We opted for the beverage pairing and got pictures of 4 out of 5 bottles. The standout for me with was the dessert and beverage pairing. I'm not a huge fan of dessert wines and I ordered a second glass of that wine. We will definitely return to Pidgin.
Booked a table for lunch, cheeky little find. Fantastic place to eat very unassuming location, minimal fuss just some fantastic food, well balanced menu, some great flavour combinations and great service. Strongly recommend!
This place is excellent. Small and lovely with excellent food, drinks and service. We had an amazing time!
Really nice restaurant with great service and interesting, challenging food.
Pidgin is always absolutely excellent. The menu may change every week but the quality never drops.
Beautiful food! Its all done with sum much care and precision. Quite refreshing to just be waiting for the menu to arrive to you. what a great place! The service was lovely. the wine was awesome. Beautiful looking dishes with delicious taste. Small, intimate. 100% recommend
Service impeccable, food inventive and delicious, recommended wine complimented the meal perfectly. Each dish arrived with a full explanation by Georgia who made us feel especially welcome. Stand out dish; beetroot, hotly followed by borage leaf tempora amuse bouche and pre pudding dessert of kiwi tartare. All together a memorable evening.
Pidgin is one of my favourite restaurants and I was visiting with my partner for our anniversary. The food was excellent as usual but the reason for three stars is the size of the portions seems to have reduced considerably from our last visit. Considering the menu is £49 before you add any drinks this seems rather mean. Hopefully it will be rectified for our next visit.
Always a fab meal here
