Excellent as always, got to be one of the best restaurants in all of London. The food is stunning! You’ll read the menu and think I may not like that, then you try it and it never fails to disappoint
The food was some of the best that I've had in London. We opted for the beverage pairing and got pictures of 4 out of 5 bottles. The standout for me with was the dessert and beverage pairing. I'm not a huge fan of dessert wines and I ordered a second glass of that wine. We will definitely return to Pidgin.
Booked a table for lunch, cheeky little find. Fantastic place to eat very unassuming location, minimal fuss just some fantastic food, well balanced menu, some great flavour combinations and great service. Strongly recommend!
This place is excellent. Small and lovely with excellent food, drinks and service. We had an amazing time!
Really nice restaurant with great service and interesting, challenging food.
Pidgin is always absolutely excellent. The menu may change every week but the quality never drops.
Beautiful food! Its all done with sum much care and precision. Quite refreshing to just be waiting for the menu to arrive to you. what a great place! The service was lovely. the wine was awesome. Beautiful looking dishes with delicious taste. Small, intimate. 100% recommend
Service impeccable, food inventive and delicious, recommended wine complimented the meal perfectly. Each dish arrived with a full explanation by Georgia who made us feel especially welcome. Stand out dish; beetroot, hotly followed by borage leaf tempora amuse bouche and pre pudding dessert of kiwi tartare. All together a memorable evening.
Pidgin is one of my favourite restaurants and I was visiting with my partner for our anniversary. The food was excellent as usual but the reason for three stars is the size of the portions seems to have reduced considerably from our last visit. Considering the menu is £49 before you add any drinks this seems rather mean. Hopefully it will be rectified for our next visit.
Always a fab meal here
Bit overhyped. Food was ok but nothing special, especially for the price. Wine list was good. Overall, wouldn't bother going back and would not recommend.
The service and food at Pidgin are excellent. The space is cozy and romantic. The prices are what I'd expect for the same food at a more central location.
Maybe the best meal I've had in London.
Took my parents, and they were blown away.
The service was outstanding - highly knowledgeable, always there, never in the way.
The food was exciting and interesting. Although be warned this is a fixed menu that challenges the norm... if you don't like exploring food it may not be for you.
An incredible meal yet again. The charming Pidgin never disappoints. Amazing and knowledgable service. The food was a sensual treat. One of our guests was both gluten and dairy free and they accommodated impressively well considering. Looking forward to returning again soon.
Beautiful food, unpretentious and relaxed setting. Efficient and attentive staff. Loved it!
My husband and I had a lovely dinner with beverage pairing to celebrate his birthday . The restaurant were able to accommodate my dietary requirements without compromising my experience of the whole evening. I will definitely recommend to friends and colleagues and look forward to revisiting the restaurant myself in a different season!
Hard to justify expensive price given the tiny portions and only 4 courses including dessert. Tasty elements but overall was disappointing. Main course of pigeon not particularly enjoyable. Been to better restaurants for this kind of gourmet attempt at high-end inventive food. Seemed to be more about style, buzz of its changing menu that actually serving up good, tasty, hearty food that leaves you feeling like you've eaten a full meal.
The atmosphere was cosy and the staff helpful. Unfortunately we did not really like the food. Portions were very small (of course we know that a tasting menu does not have large portions, yet we were still hungry after 4 courses). We expected more of the menu after reading the reviews. However, the menu did not met our expectations. Dishes to simple, not worth the money in our opinion.
Wine painting was not at the same level of the food (which was excellent!!).
The restaurant is quite noisy; anything you could do about the acoustics?
An amazing meal with great wine. All the little touches (e.g. an amuse bouche to start) make it special
Food and service were excelent.
We all liked it very much.
This was our first visit to this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Every dish, every cocktail, was an exquisite balance of flavours, beautifully presented. The paired wine was excellent. It is extraordinary that there is a restaurant this good in Hackney. Go!!
An absolute gem in Hackney, food and service outstanding. We loved it and it was worth every penny! We would definitely come back and recommend everyone to go and try it!
Just simply an excellent meal, service, food and drink quality, price point and everything else was perfect. Will be sure to recommend to others. Thank you for making our evening so memorable!
Everything was excellent save for the ambience. We had a few power outages during our meal and were sat next to the window where it was cold (the portable heaters went off when the power went off)
Pidgin was a glorious experience. We came here for lunch and it was great. The restaurant has a great vibe and the serving staff were very friendly and knowledgable. The food was presented beautifully and every dish was enjoyable. I love the ever-changing menu, so I will be sure to be back!
A lovely neighborhood gem with great food. Creative and genuinely tasty.
We had an amazing lunch. The environment was very relaxing and the staff super attentive without being annoying. The food was excellent and in my opinion good value. Love the idea of the set menu. The wine list and drinks drink were super. We would definitely return.
Amazing place with delicious food and lots of unexpected delights.
Fantastic food and a great service. Intimate and warm atmosphere, great for a date night.
Menu was well balanced, and even the bread and burnt butter was a dish of its own as it was so moreish. The desert of sweet potato and pineapple delights was lovely and a perfect end to the meal, so they could have left out the petit fours which were a bit too "interesting"... do you really want Nori to end a meal.
This was massively disappointing. The service was really friendly, but the food was well beneath what we were expecting (not least given its awards and recommendations). The price was reasonable, but at a Michelin Star restaurant you expect food that matches up to it - unfortunately for us it didn't. The restaurant itself is small and decor is kept to a minimum, all in all it was really just an uninspiring choice.
Discreet, modest and comfortable restaurant. Food was elegant and creative. Staff were friendly and attentive.
A superlative experience - truly inventive cooking and excellent service
What an amazing surprise! Everything about Pidgin was excellent and obviously carefully planned. Very enjoyable and would totally return!
Amazing food, great idea to have fixed menu, enables you to eat some stunning food you may not usually go for, and great service, highly recommend
Lovely quiet dinner. Beautiful food, thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. Thank you
Fantastic food and service and very good value for the quality of the meal.
Genuinely brilliant place. The food was delicious, the staff are super friendly and even the slightly loud and slightly annoying table next to us didn't spoil it. Would thoroughly recommend this place.
Very knowledgable staff and the food was excellent!
