The waitress was new and clearly unfamiliar with the menu. Drinks took ages to arrive. Very noisy.
The food at Ping Pong is always good. I had not been to this branch before and we were seated downstairs. The food lived up to expectations but the service was awful. No one was even available to assist us with anything and I had to order drinks many times before it came (as well as waiting early 20 minutes to pay the bill).
Fun dinner before seeing a show at the Palladium. Helpful and friendly server and really tasty food. Very busy scene.
A lover of dim sum and now of Ping Pong.
I've been advised to visit this place by a number of people and I am happy to say they didn't and Ping Pong didn't disappoint. The service was great and the waiter was very attentive and played a great host to the restaurant.
The food was incredible and has left me wanting to go back for more.
Good food. Okay service. Waiters were nice, didn’t really explain how things work- we had to ask another waiter because I’d only been there once and wasn’t sure.
Ambience was poor. So loud, you have to shout to talk to a friend sitting a cm away. Very cramped by the bar- would recommend sitting at a table more. Later round 10pm it was quieter and much nicer than the start.
We loved going to Ping Pong! They had such great food. We unknowingly went during happy hour, definitely worth the prices! They had great deals on happy hour and half off drinks! We suggest trying the ping pong set menu!
Great service and great food. A really interesting menu and a good atmosphere, very much enjoyed it.
Good food! Great selection and excellent service. Will definitely be back!
We went for lunch to have dim sum. The variety was very good, considering allergies or food preferences for everybody. The waiters were very friendly, helpful and patient. The food was delicious, the prices adequate. We will return.
Friendly staff and nice waiters/waitresses. Excellent food and a really nice vibe. I will definitely go again.
Reasonable priced food! - Lots of flies in the actual restaurant which isn't pleasant!
Overall it was really good. The Soho branch was not very busy when we first got there which was nice as it gave my friends and I time to catch up.
Service was friendly and efficient.
Food was to standard as I have eaten at Ping Pong at least 5 times previously and it was good as last time.
Great food, my regular favourite. Place can be packed and loud on Fridays though so avoid for intimate dinner.
Great food - shocking service!! Had to ask for initial order, drinks and then left our plates sitting there for 45 minutes. Shame becauee the food is delicious.
Service and food excellent as always!
The tasting menu for two was a wonderful deal with a nice variety.
Excellent food and a large variety, however the amount of each item you get is extremely unclear, and the size of each item too, so we ended up ordering too many items and they turned out to be really big (which isn't a complaint of course, bigger food is usually better). Would be better if the menu pointed out how many of each item is in each portion, and also indicated the size of each item.
Otherwise though, Ping Pong made for a great second date, and looking forwards to coming back for all you can eat, even if Ping Pong may not be looking forwards to seeing how much I can actually eat :D
Would recommend to anyone looking for a great value, interesting and delicious dinner.
Amazing Flavours and Food, Great Staff
Service was excellent, food was really good. Can't wait to come back.
Had my birthday meal here with 13 people. Restaurant very accommodating and have us a nice area downstairs at the back. Food is really good and quick to arrive. I am allergic to seafood, I was given a special seafood free menu which is so helpful when choosing dishes. Can’t fault Ping Pong & everyone in my party enjoyed the food & venue.
Food wasn’t bad, cocktails tasted watered down, or sweet.
But waitress did try and get us a different cocktail.
Would have preferred prosecco.
Overall not bad, but wouldn’t rush back as the DJ was disappointing kept playing the same back ground music.
Met up with school friends after 6 months. We ordered pretty much every type of dimsum on the menu. It was a great food experience.
Food quality was amazing and filling.
Lively and lovely
It was very busy and noisy.
The food wasn’t up to scratch and the service was poor.
I love ping pong, I go a lot and usually the food is delicious, and service good.
It was disapointing especially as it was my anniversary.
Lively restaurant situated in a convenient position near Regent Street. Staff were helpful and friendly. The food was delicious - hot and fresh. We had the Lazy Sumday brunch and the Prosecco offer which was great value. We stayed for a good few hours chatting and we were not rushed at any time. Was a great place to catch up with my daughters in a very relaxed atmosphere with great food and drink.
We weren't rushed to leave the table (we were there hours), the food was all really good and our waiter was really helpful and friendly.
We had the vegetarian sharing set meal. The steam dumpling is a bit sticky. Otherwise, not bad. The staff were friendly and helpful.
very nice option for lunch or dinner close to Soho and Oxford Circus. great atmosphere and very friendly staff. excellent food , great option to share. also very nice cocktails. would definitely visit it again and again.
I found it difficult to talk because the music was so loud. Great for loud birthday parties but not so good for a catch with friends. Food was lovely
Food was very good, all at a reasonable price too, ordering process could have been a bit easier and giving change also
Birthday - but note to restaurant about my daughters 10th birthday dinner was ignored :-(
After being disappointed with the Westfield Ping Pong, thought we would give this a try. Most of the dim sum we had were excellent, a couple seemed to miss a bit for us, but this is probably just personal taste. Cocktails and mocktails were also well enjoyed.
Value was good at £120 ish for 4 including drinks and 4 large bottles of water. It's not quite the Ping Pong that the Bayswater one used to be before it closed, but I would go back, whereas the Westfield one I would not
Staff were all very polite and friendly
The food was good. Service so inefficient. Being right near the Palladium, it would be a good idea if they catered efficiently for pre theatre. Restaurant rather shabby too. This is the 2nd time I have visited this branch and both times had the same service problem
Unfortunately, they couldn’t find our open table reservation but found a table for us at the time booked. Food was great!
Great food, nice ambience and top-notch service. Definite recommendation!
No problems with food, but why play loud ghastly music that no one in our party wanted?
Food was amazing as usual! Service extremely slow at this branch unfortunately
Great food and such a great choice. Well served by friendly waiter. So much great food means you can easily rack up a big bill, so be aware!
I rated the ambience poor because I did not like our table. The inside table at the front is not a good place to be seated. It's like being seated in a smoking area because you get the smoke from the outside diners coming in through the front door. The most annoying thing is you get the glare from car headlights all the time as they come out from the street across. The food is good though.
We had a Xmas lunch there this week and the food was great value and the ambience and atmosphere was really good, the service was friendly and prompt
