Really nice food and accommodating of allergy requirements.
All you can eat ‘Lazy Sunday’ deal was fab! Great selection of food. Great service and ambiance. Very happy and will highly recommend to family and friends.
I had a lovely lunch at Ping Pong, Great Marlborough St and we were lucky enough to sit outside. Service by Piero was charming, amusing and efficient. The food was as good as always and the glasses of Aperol Spritz were exactly what we needed. Overall, I would recommend to other diners.
The manager was very rude to us when seating us, as he needed to take our details for track and trace, rather than us using the app. He made us feel very self-conscious and embarrassed in front of a line of other customers as he scolded us, even though taking our details took less than a minute. The waitress was lovely, but our food order got muddled up and we had to chase up missing items on three occasions. This was the same experience for the two tables next to us. The food was delicious once it all arrived.
A great restaurant to welcome us back post lockdown
The staff were very and everyone followed COVID guidelines.
Food and drinks were decent however service was sub par. The waiters didn’t know what food was what and no one advised we had a time limit on our table. We were ordering tons of food and drinks and just ordered another round when we were told we had 5 minutes left. Then about 30 seconds later were told we had to leave right now. Would have been nice to have a heads up so we wouldn’t have ordered another round of drinks. Manager was not apologetic and then told me to finish my drink inside as we pay where I was then asked to wear my mask but then was confused on how I was meant to finish my cocktail? Luckily we went elsewhere and had a fabulous time. Would maybe come back for the food but for the service not a chance.
Great food excellent service, will definitely be visiting again
Great service, tasty food as always. Good outdoor set up under rainproof/weather proof umbrellas and heaters.
Good menu with lots of choice, food came out quickly and was tasty. Friendly service
Great outdoor seating which was out the back under a shade sail with heaters. Basically felt like we were inside.
Always love the food and also excellent gluten free options.
The food was good and we had great service. Would go again.
Very small portion sizes, price is fairly high (expect to pay 25pp for a meal) - but the food was good.
I didn’t go to this booking
We shared lunch as a family of five, and hadn’t been out in a while. Food was delicious and fresh, well prepared. Service was a bit hit and miss but we weren’t in a hurry so no worries there. These are difficult times for restaurants, so sending my support ! Hope we all get to get back to normal one day!
Feels like stepping back into early 2000s. So out-dated!!
Shame to see this chain still giving out 2 plastic straws in every drink.
Great service and patience from the staff very great experience with great food.
Ping Pong has really gone down... waiters don't look you in the eye, they don't care. Dumplings not as good... Bathroom smelled... I used to LOVE Ping Pong how disappointing ...
Our waitress was incredibly unhelpful
Very surprisngly average food ... almost as if the chef was not in the kitchen
It was the first to
Be careful of service the waitresses may show attitude
Food was good as usual. The waiting staff were not exactly attentive and drinks took a very long time to arrive. The restaurant wasn't full and overly busy.
The food was great but service was bad. Not only did they forget to bring things we ordered but I had to ask for sauce 4 times before someone brought it to me.
Not enough per portion. Everyone left hungry.
The worst part is the service charge on the bill does not go to the staff
TIP IN CASH
Friends were visiting town and they were happy. Great food as always. Generous service as well.
The manager of the restaurant was incredibly rude to us from beginning to end. One of our party had a mushroom allergy and when we mentioned it to her at the time of ordering food, she was most frustrated that this hadn't been communicated in advance and made it very difficult to accommodate changes for her. Another party member couldn't eat pork due to religious reasons and this was also questioned by the manager and suggested to not be a legitimate reason for requiring the dish to be changed. Throughout the evening, the wrong dishes were served to our table and some courses arrived in the wrong order--prawn crackers after dinner!
Despite being a ping pong fan and a card holder, this time I was thoroughly disappointed. I would reconsider going to this branch again in future.
Great food. Highly recommend to all
Good, but squished seating!
Ambience was good, but could do better with the service. Went with my partner at around 7pm which was a quite busy time. To get place our first order it took a good 15 mins. Food was served pretty quick though. Waiters had to be called on to the table for orders and requests
Usual good choices!
We had such a great meal at Ping Pong Soho - the service was superb, the food was great and we all felt really looked after. I would definitely recommend and definitely come back - the cocktails and the spicy dim sum were high points - as were the automated toilet doors! Thanks for a fab night = perfect pre theatre dining :-)
So so ... Been going for years, can't complain
Overall good experience and great ambiance. Food was good
The service could have been a lot better. We kept asking for water but it never came.
The waitress was new and clearly unfamiliar with the menu. Drinks took ages to arrive. Very noisy.
The food at Ping Pong is always good. I had not been to this branch before and we were seated downstairs. The food lived up to expectations but the service was awful. No one was even available to assist us with anything and I had to order drinks many times before it came (as well as waiting early 20 minutes to pay the bill).
Fun dinner before seeing a show at the Palladium. Helpful and friendly server and really tasty food. Very busy scene.
