Good food, bit pricey but worth it. Attentive staff and plenty of hussle and bussle
Once again lovely food and excellent service. Thank you.
Fabulous food and service yet again. Great to have such an amazing restaurant so close to home rather than making the journey into Liverpool. 10/10 :)
Used to love Pushka, since the guys moved to France, Pinion has taken the pinnacle for me.
This was our third visit to Pinion, as always the service was great. But the food was not. I ordered the cod with parsnip purée, the fish was a minuscule portion and over cooked and the purée was tasty but again virtually not there. A shame as we really like to support local trade. X
We love this place. Great vibe, friendly knowledgeable staff and excellent food. This time the onion soup was delicious. Chicken Kiev succulent but not quite as tasty as other mains we’ve had. Overall really good
We had a very delious and enjoyable meal. We're so glad we had room for the posset and crème brûlée. The staff were very nice and the place has a nice atmosphere. It'd be great if Gary could work his magic in St Helens. Either way, we'll most certainly be back to Pinion.
This was a last minute booking on the day, but it made our anniversary a special occasion.
Service was polite and timely
Menu was just right covering all options
Food was perfectly cooked and presented
I don’t normally do 3 courses as some restaurants offer a dessert to just tick a box
but on this occasion the dessert was the same high standard as the other courses
Beautiful food- drinks a little expensive. Would definitely eat here again.
The pre screening night for the Rebel Chef documentary was phenomenal. So pleased to have been part of it!
Lovely food reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed the fish and chips and the parsnip soup was excellent.
Really nice. We’ve booked to go back for the Italian night in October
Had family over from Australia who had been in Liverpool for over a week. Said it was the nicest meal they had so far. My second time at Pinion and will definitely be going back!
Good sized portions. Pudding was flavour explosion in the mouth! Cant wait to go again. Thought drinks were a bit pricey...great for a treat.
Mains a bit limited
Cheese board really bad with one type of cheese and a few crackers
Although nothing really jumped out with the menu what I had was nice and tasty and my family felt the same
A fantastic meal. We are so lucky to have Pinion in our town.
Fantastic food once again, along with great service
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and service and was impressed with the menu as I wanted to pick a number of items as they sounded so tempting.
This is a Sunday roast yet to be beaten. Absolutely fabulous and although you get lashings always order an extra side of this as so delicious.
Loved every meal have had here and the little extras for loyalty customers are fabulous eg a beer, specially baked foccachia bread or if you are lucky like us both!
Had a wonderful sunday lunch. 3 courses and each one was amazing. The food is glorious and the staff are amazing. Would go back again without a doubt
Considering the cost of the menu I expected more choices for main course. It was Saturday evening and they had run out of stock items?? The door does not shut properly our table was close to it and therefore was very drafty. When the food arrived, both starters and main courses were not very hot. I think for the prices being charged there needs to be much more attention to detail.
Great food , great service would highly recommend.
Wonderful food, drink and service again... we are so proud to have played a small part in this place’s set up.
Incredible pate, beautiful scotch egg, amazing chicken Kiev and outstanding char Sui pork chop; made to feel very special, too.
Thanks for what you’re doing!
As always Gary’s team delivers at every level. Professional and courteous but not stuffy at all, just friendly and welcoming.
Food was excellent and great value matched well with a glass of house red - cannot fault a single thing.
So looked after as ever. Katie was wonderful and gave us such a warm reception. Food was delicious.
I booked Pinion for my birthday and at the time of booking there was a question asking if it was for a special occasion so I added it was my birthday. Strangely enough this wasnt mentioned once, no happy birthday complementary drink or cake... so why ask.
Other than that, the food was good, service excellent pleasant ambiance.
Very quiet lunch time but we enjoyed excellent service
Went for Sunday lunch to Pinion, the food was gorgeous. I need to give a call out to the ‘white onion and Parmesan soup’, it was absolutely gorgeous!! I went for the stuffed belly pork this time and although it was lovely, I did prefer the roast beef I had last time I went. As always the staff are so nice, really attentive but not in a creepy way. Can’t wait for my next visit.
I Had a lovely afternoon with my mother. The waiters were friendly, attentive and efficient. I had a starter, main and dessert which were all delicious. Will go back again.
Service was fantastic, food was fabulous. Wine is a bit pricey but it was very nice. We had 2 bottles!
service great - food ok - but so overpriced and will not be returning - regards
Had a lovely meal at Pinion on Friday night. I have been before a couple of times and it it always an enjoyable experience. Food always to a high standard and excellent service. Such a lovely restaurant tucked away in Prescot
Pinion was truly exceptional. An attentive and intimate experience throughout. Exquisite food, locally sourced produce, an artwork on your plate. Stunning.
Attention to detail and quality of food is suburb, the menu offered a great selection for everyone I had beef and ordered carrots 🥕 I know but this is a carrot experience believe me divine, my husband opted for baked cod. Service and delivery of food timed to perfection will be going back for sure. Thank you guys 👍🏻
This place is Amazing!!! The food was outstanding as well as the service. 😋
Been here many times now and once again it does not disappoint. The food is excellent, the staff friendly and welcoming and the ambiance is just right. We went with friend who hadn’t been before and they also loved it. Looking forward to my next visit.
Fabulous Food and Fabulous staff!
Went for Sunday Lunch and had an absolutely superb meal - asked for a wine recommendation and the lovely lady attending to us recommended a reasonably priced bottle that was lovely and matched the food perfectly.
Would highly recommend 5*
Our 4th Gary Usher restaurant visited and every one has been outstanding.
Amazing, absolutely lovely food, wonderful service and great surroundings, very pleasant to eat in such a nice place, I would highly recommend , food is well presented and filling, worth every penny and I will definitely go again.
Lovely food. Had the pork chop with char sui sauce. Beautiful. Lemon posett to die for. Thank you. Lovely experience. Will come again.
