All the food was absolutely delicious.
An excellent local restaurant with well thought out menu successfully prepared with helpful friendly staff.
11/1/19 All good except door/fraught situation
Bit to noisey for a chat but would go again as food was lovely and staff where fantastic
Food was excellent in the main. I has sticky braised beef it was so so tasty!!! Mackerel starter didnt deliver on taste, broth had no flavour at all but fish was well cooked, hubby had pigs head croquet which was delicious. Tables are a bit too close together but wines were excellent, decor and overall ambience was really nice. We will be back for more!! Thankyou to the excellent waitresses and waiters very polite attentive and quick.
Very good food similar to Wreckfish. I’d recommend it.
Had a lovely time at Pinion. Tried 3 courses and enjoyed them all. I think the restaurant is a little on the pricey side but the food was very good. Great ambience and friendly informative staff too.
It’s very very good, the food is exquisite. There’s no fuss or pretentiousness just great food good service and a very enjoyable evening.
First visit to this restraunt very impressed food was great very clean
Lovely meal great ambience staff brilliant nice to have such a good restaurant locally
Went for Sunday lunch. Beautiful food. Best ice cream I have ever had. Great service. Highly recommended.
Really tasty Sunday Lunch both starter and main, It was a little cool in the restaurant.
great food great service would recommend to friends and family
Well where to start, the staff and chefs are very accommodating offering something that was not on the menu which was really good of them. As it was it was not needed. There was 4 of us so each one had a different starter, which we all enjoyed, . I had the White onion and madeira soup and it was delicious. I had the Roast Duck with my son, which went down very well. We all had a dessert. All in all perfect experience. No one got food envy
I would not hesitate to recommend Pinion and we will defiantly be returning.
Very good food and wine for a birthday celebration
Would recommend to others and look forward to visiting again
The restaurant was excellent, staff friendly and happy to advise. My only criticisms are that the food was very small small portions. More veg would have been good without having to order sides. The food itself was lovely and enjoyable
Food was excellent really enjoyable overall. Wines a little expensive compared to other restaurants but good choice.
Our third time at Pinion and again it didn't disappoint. Wasn't sure how the New Year's Eve set menu would work but it was a great success. Each course was delicious but the main course was, as intended, the star of the show. Overall beautiful food, really efficient and friendly service and excellent wine. Only thing I'd change is some kind of curtain to try and limit the draft from the front door.
The food was nice but having been to their other restaurants I would recommend to go their first. The set menu lacked a cutting edge in comparison to other meals at the company's other restaurants, dispute using cultivating foods with differing infusions of flavours. All in all the food was nice but I don't believe the £65 for the set menu offered value for money.
New Years Eve menu was superb and service provided by Abbi was excellent
Excellent, Sunday lunch was gorgeous , enjoyed every mouthful , best carrots I have ever eaten
Just as lovely an experience as in the other Elite Bistros. Very well done and thank you.
The food was delicious but quite pricey. The wine was expensive for a glass!
The staff were very friendly.
The ladies toilet cloakroom could do with a self closing door; we do not want to see inside when eating our meal.
Great to have a great restaurant in prescot at last , pleasent surroundings with excellent food what more could you ask for.
Stunning food and fabulous service. No photos to post, unless you want a picture of our plates licked clean 😜
Beautiful food, gorgeous surroundings and fantastic, friendly service!! Highly recommended!!
Lovely visit to Pinion with family (group of 5) on Christmas Eve. Service very warm and welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and all three courses of food were excellent, from a varied menu. Good selection of wines across a price range, and overall a great experience at this very welcome new local high street bistro, and so glad we helped crowd fund it’s opening. We will return soon!
Lovely place and fantastic food xx also child friendly
Absolutely fantastic evening here. So good we went back again 2 days later. The staff are wonderful welcoming and professional. The food was perfect, great flavours.
Atmosphere was great too.
Lovely evening with gorgeous food and great service, third visit and will be back thanks Pinion
A brilliant bistro restaurant in Prescot, the food is outstanding, the service is good and the wine list very good. I wish they had a festive dinner menu for bookings under 8 people.
We attended Pinion to give it a try.
The atmosphere was good, the staff were very nice.
The decor was good although a little too dark - struggled to see the Menu's.
Food was served hot.
We had the beef dish and also the fish dish.
Food was tasty and reasonable portion size, chips and veg sides were delicious.
Price was around £20 for each main which I suppose may be considered reasonable for a high street restaurant.
A nice touch was 2 x fudge pieces with 'Happy Anniversary' written in chocoloate sauce
We sat near the window with a draught howling accross our legs all night, the staff were helpful but couldn't do much about it other than point out it cost near £40k to have the windows fitted and that they are in dispute with the fitters. As you can imagine this didn't warm my legs up.
We had a misunderstanding with the cost of the wine having been charged I think £37 when we beleived we ordered a £24 bottle. So you may want to double check the wine as they 'present it to you' that it is the bottle you ordered. I am no wine connoisseur but who in their right mind would spend almost double the cost of the food on a bottle of wine?
We went at 1800 on Saturday. The food for us was the best we have eaten in this price range. Excellent variety and veg cooked to perfection, the roasted carrots were sublime and the soup delicious. Slight slip up with the mains as we got the wrong one but rapidly rectified, and the overall cost for the quality of the food was surprisingly good.
We had an excellent meal really lovely staff who greeted and treated us nice. The food was beautiful .
Fantastic food & excellent service. Can’t wait to come back
Friendly staff, delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed our recent visit to celebrate a birthday and the vegan options were fantastic.
Lovely place, staff very helpful and lovely food and atmosphere
Food was exceptional and great to ask chef questions. Never thought we'd get fine dining in Prescot. Used chefs help to make my own divine truffle Parmesan chips. The feather blade beef fell apart in your mouth. Poached pear was superb. Loved all the food, lots of flavours subtly blended together. One of the best meals my husband and I have had dining out. Much better than MPW in Liverpool by a mile. Only downside is I think the bar prices are too expensive but then appreciate they have a lot of great staff who need to be paid! We'll be back.
First visit here and would definitely go back and also recommend, food was really good. The decor is nice as well
