On arrival they said we didn't have a reservation. But managed to give us a table. The service was very slow. The starter were a little over cooked the mains and dessert were lovely. We were seated at 8.05 and didn't get out mains until 9.30.
I have eaten there before and it was lovely but the service was just very slow. The table beside us was turned over twice while we were there and it was just because we were kept waiting. I would be slow to return.
We have eaten dinner here several times and the food is always great. We like the sweets afterwards as well. Great selection of wines.
Decent food and decent service, carbonara was not great.
A mediocre place. Staff is friendly but highly unprofessional (mixed the orders; didn't clarify how and when we wanted our plates; I ended up waiting for my main for over 20 min when my friends were already served; brought the wrong bottle of wine; we had to wait for the bill even the place was nit busy; other customers had to continuously look for the waiters' attention as they did not scan the room and were instead congregated around the bar area; one waiter was serving tables all the while chewing and chewing gum). The place probably has a potential but definitely will not be back.
My husband’s birthday
Lovely stuff but food was bland
Great staff! Raviolli was also very good. Only suggestion is more deserts options but the ones they have are pretty good
Really great experience. Super friendly staff and service.
Food good, although white wine rather bland.Service satisfactory ,overall fine, but not spectacular!
Lovely meal and great service.
Excellent food in nice surroundings and the food was great value
Best Italian restaurant! The food was outstanding!
Was promised a choice of aperitif cocktails on arrival but were simple served something in a glass and not told what is was, and definitely wasn’t offered a “choice”.
We were only given the set menu, we weren’t even offered the normal full menu even though the table sat down near us at the same time were given normal menus. However, we couldn’t get any staff’s attention at all to rectify this and were left to just choose from what we were given.
The food (pizza and arancini) left me and my partner feeling terribly sickly and uncomfortable for the rest of the night, sending us back to our accommodation early. How fresh was the cooking if it could aggravate our stomach this much?
Overall, it wasn’t terrible and when the staff need actually check on us they were very
polite and friendly, I just doubt I would revisit here again due to our listed disappointments.
Everything was perfect. We just had a great time with excellent food and smiling staff.
Advertises itself as a celiac friendly restaurant. They do not have gluten free pizza bases or gluten free bread. And the only gluten free pasta is penne. Food compleletly tasteless. Service bad and attempt to overcharge by one meal.
Excellent food and service. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Amazing venue for our trip to Dublin, partners birthday which the staff all sang Happy Birthday and made her night, great food, great staff, totally recommend
The staff is really nice and the food is authentic traditional italian food, handmade fresh pasta is amazing. My favorite restaurant in Dublin.
Very nice dinner, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The lasagna is fabulous, they offer a lovely Chianti well priced. The restaurant is small, neighbourhood place that is busy, fun, and well appointed. We will definitely return.
Always a great service and better food. Totally recommend this place if you like proper Italian food
Awesome Italian! All in our party of seven enjoyed their meal!
Excellent food and wine, and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
Food was really nice, place was nice. Staff were very friendly. Easy to locate. Would go again. Free drink with reservation
tasty food and warm welcome
Best pizza in Dublin!
Very nice staff, really enjoyed the truffle ravioli.
Loved this restaurant, it looks like a really authentic Italian which is cosy and romantic, the food was amazing, I wouldn’t have gone for a pudding but based on how good the main was I knew the tiramisu would be homemade and deliscious and it did not disappoint! The staff were great and friendly and made it a lovely experience I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dublin
It was Valentines, so very hard to judge - restaurant was very busy.
Lovely ambience...no rushing...staff excellent and not pushy but very helpful...lovely food..good location😊
Great food and service will definitely go back when in Dublin again
First night in Dublin, very nice restaurant but quite small. Food good, service good. Only downside was a cooking class which was extremely loud and partially blocked toilets. Free cocktail on arrival and very good prices (used set menu!). Would come here again :) thank you!
We loved the food, but for some reason they took 1/3 of our table and gave it to someone else. We had to press us together and sit very close. It was a very strange experience, since we booked 3 weeks before.
We came for dinner in this restaurant on our last night in Ireland with a large group, excited to find somewhere that could accommodate all 10 of us. When we arrived, it took a while to track down our 7:45 reservation. Finally, we were showed to our table. It wasn't until 15 minutes later that someone came to take our drink order. Drinks were finally delivered and we ordered our food- 2 appetizers (bruschetta and mozzarella caprese, neither of which required cooking), and 10 entrees, all of which were pasta dishes or pizzas. We waited a half an hour after ordering for our simple appetizers to arrive. Once they were finished, nobody came to clear the plates, or ask if we needed drink refills. We waited, and waited, and waited... and waited for our entrees to come. Finally, around 9:15 (1.5 hours after arriving), I asked for an update on the status of our food, and was told that since we ordered appetizers, our food was going to take longer. Our party included 3 kids and 1 infant, who was starting to get fussy by this time. Our food was not delivered until 9:45 PM, 2 hours after we had arrived. I was told time and time again, with very little actual empathy, that we ordered appetizers, and that there were several large tables that night, and that's why our food was so late. I'm sorry, but if you can't accommodate large quantities of people, don't offer reservations for them. And appetizers or not, there is NO excuse for food to not be ready for 2 hours from the time of arrival at the restaurant, especially when every item we ordered was a very simple dish. Thankfully, the food was quite good, but we were all so frustrated and ready to leave by the time it arrived that we hardly enjoyed it. Skip this restaurant and take your business elsewhere.
Amazing staff, food and ambiance. I loved every bit of it! We had a great time. We ate here as a group pre theatre and it was lovely.
Overall everything Ok. I would like to mention that the staff name Adela She was amazing
Great food and very friendly service
Pretty good value for money
Plasantly surprised by authentic and delicious Italian food. Very friendly staff.
Great night out for New Years even dinner with the family. Excellent, authentic Italian food in a vibrant setting. The chicken with mushroom sauce and Capricosa calzone were amazing.
