My mom wasn't a fan of the ceviche but I enjoyed it! The waiter was very attentive and helped out with the menu the entire time!
I am basing my review on our visit on 8/18. The service this time was super slow and our waiter barely stoped by our table to check on us. We waited over 20 minutes for water and another 30 minutes for drinks!
Fortunately, Jose who waited on previous visits for us came to the rescue and made things a little better. Thank you Jose!
Sitting next to the kitchen was a gift and a curse. Never sure how the hostess makes this decision but we found the sitting to lend a bit of excitement.
Very welcoming place, well organized.
It was my my first visit and definitely planning to come back. Food was very good and our waiter Maria was just fantastic!
Yes, I’d definitely recommend to stop by for lunch or dinner with friends!
Best Peruvian spot in DC. Amazing Lomo Saltado and Ceviche.
This is my 5th time to this restaurant. The food is always excellent. The service is the best in DC . I will be back .
I come here often and have eaten this dishes before but this time it was a complete disaster. The place was half empty and still 25 minutes passed before they took our order. We had chicha morada but they did not bring as the usual corn snack. Not a big deal, but with the time the food took to arrive, a little snack would have helped. Starters were very nice and a generous size for restaurant week. After finishing them we had to wait another half hour for the main course, and our waiter only approached our table to bring a bottle we hadn’t order, so we had to call him and he took it away. The main course were a joke, again generous, but no quality, the fish in the ceviche smelled... so we didn’t eat it, and the beef on the tallarines was so hard it was impossible to eat, which is disappointing when you pay extra to have a better meat. We told our waiter about the fish, he offered to remake the dish and after we decline the offer he just smiled and said enjoy! Another alternative would have been nice. We asked to put our dessert to go and bring the check 3 times until we got it, and one of them wasn’t available. Extremely slow service, which we could understand in a busy situation, but this was really frustrating.
One of my favorite restaurants in DC. The ceviche and anticuchos are fantastic!
I have recommended to friends and family. Worth going for excellent food. Happy hour is supposed to be great.
I love Pisco y Nazca! The food is delicious, comes in good portions, and the service is phenomenal. Our server, Andres, was very attentive, helpful in his recommendations (the pionino dessert is mouthwatering!), and super nice. I'll be back very soon!
Gorgeous restaurant with delicious food and very accommodating to allergies. Our server, Andres, was great! Particularly thoughtful about what options I had given allergies. Highly recommend.
This place was just ok. I was really looking forward to trying the food but was somewhat disappointed. The appetizers (tostones and empanadas) we’re both great. We ordered the cremasas ceviche and it was also delicious. Our entrees were both vey mediocre. The place was soooo loud. We were surrounded by loud people cackling on both sides and it made it impossible to enjoy conversation. Not dying to go back.
Third time I’m coming here—it has now become my favorite restaurant and I recommend it to everyone! Service and the food is beyond amazing!
Excellent food and service. Will definitely return as often as I can.
The food was fantastic, even during Restaurant week they had normal proportions for each course and we were completely stuffed and happy by the end of our dinner. Our server Maria was super sweet and helpful, and I am now obsessed with their Pisco Mule drink.
The noise level was horrible. When booking we had requested a quiet table. We got the table next to the Happy Hour crowd and they were not willing to offer us a better table even as we were willing to wait. They also tried to charge extra for the menu dessert. This was our first and last time at this place. There are so many better options!
The food is simply amazing! The presentation is what made it taste even better. Beautiful place.
Went for lunch with a friend to try the restaurant week menu! The restaurant is very nice and service was good. Food came out quick. The food presentation was nice and tasted good too. My friend fell in love with the food here. Will definitely be going back.
Lucky enough to plan a lunch during DC Restaurant week. Got three courses for about $22 a person. Some of the best food I have had, period! Service was impeccable.
Very good, but I was expecting to get a complimentary suspiro
Limeño given that I’m a VIP costumer 😄
Amazing food and great piscos
I eat here frequently and the food and service are consistently outstanding. It’s usually crowded therefore it is VERY LOUD. Take note.
Might be one of my favorite restaurants in DC. The seafood small plates are all amazing! The cocktails are great and service is accommodating. 10/10 👏🏼
Delicious food! Fourth time I come and it never disappoints. Empanadas, lomo salteado and the dulce de leche and nutella cake-type dessert are highly recommended!
The food and service was amazing! The drinks were delicious. The noise level was a bit loud, but other than that great place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
Restaurant week- great selection
Excellent Service. Great food and presentation. Tables are a bit close so this is not the place to go if you are trying to have a private discussion.
Finally! A dinner out in DC where I do not walk away disappointed. We had several ceviches, the cremoso, the original, leche de tigre. So amazing! The freshness of the ceviche was impressive. We felt amazing, like we had a B-12 shot. Our bodies craved the vitamins and minerals of the ceviches.
The pisco sours were perfect, but like margaritas, two was our limit.
We have been here before, and since our last visit they installed some acoustic panels which means we can now hear each other talk! Great job!
Thank you for a wonderful date night!
Most authentic, great food.
We had a fabulous time at the restaurant. Our waiter, Angel, was a delight and the food was outstanding. I had a wonderful wine from Russian River and some unbelievably good scallops. There was an amazing seafood platter roll to share and the Pisco sour was excellent.
Very busy place...food is exceptional
Pisco y Nazda was amazing! Placed in a quiet neighborhood with a very fun and modern ambiance. Loved the brunch menu and felt that I got my money’s worth. Food has a lot of flavor
I’ve been many times and the food is amazing and consistent every time I go! The times I’ve sat at the bar were impeccable however table service was a little less attentive but understandable. Very authentic food, has climbed to the top of my list very quickly!
Amazing food and amazing service. Food quality was incredible and we devoured everything we ordered. Favorites were the scallops and the steak empanadas. I wish we would have tried all of the ceviches, but so much food!!! Can’t wait to be in DC again - this is a must try!
Good food and friendly staff. Inside was noisy and outside was too hot (a simple fan would help), but overall a good experience!
We've been to Pisco y Nazca several times, and every time has been good, but this particular visit was spectacular! We started with the causa sampler, which we've had before and is always delicious. My wife then got the arroz con pollo, and I the risotto nero, and they were both amazingly good. Of course, the pisco sours are always excellent, as well. Finally, our server, Lachlan, was one of the best ever! He clearly enjoys his job and brings joy to his customers as he has an almost perpetual smile on his face, is very personable and delivers just the right about of attention. For us, it was just the kind of Friday evening dining experience that ranked among the best we've had. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for every level -- food, service, drink and atmosphere.
Had lunch with my mother and we both loved everything about our dining experience! We had the lunch menu and all our dishes were delicious!
Our waiter Andres was just the BEST!! He was very attentive and his recommendations were great, we felt very welcomed by him and the whole crew, muchas gracias Andres!!! You made us want to go back and we will!
In addition, the chef approached our table to see how we were liking the meal which was a very nice thing to do and my mother enjoyed very much their conversation and even asking about the recipes!
My daughter wanted us to try this restaurant because she had it through her internship and loved it! It was amazing!!! I’m so glad we went! The chef had us try a potential new dish and it was delicious! The servings are huge, 3 of us shared 2 meals and an appetizer.
Fantastic new spot for drinks to dinner! Fabulous ambience, superb food and extraordinary service! Thank you, Alex! We will frequent this place often!
I didn't expect Pisco y Nazca to be nearly as good or nearly as beautiful as it was. That space used to be a skeezy bar and they made it beautiful - stunning really. The ceviche was some of the best I've had, and the main course (a rice dish with seafood) was also excellent. The service was friendly and prompt. It's great to have an excellent restaurant in a part of town that for the most part is a restaurant desert.
