Pistache French Bistro
Prices are moderate and the recipes nutritionally healthy. Service is casual and efficient. The atmosphere is upbeat with a definite European flair. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau, which defined most brasseries and bistros opened in 1920"s Paris. It boasts cozy seating with numerous red leather banquettes, a full bar and giant antique mirrors. The restaurant has a feel of "Always been there". It is classic, retro-modern and sophisticated but unpretentious.
The outdoor patio overlooks Centennial Park, the Fountains and the Intracoastal Waterway. It is shaded with overhead awning and seats 30 people in a Riviera-like setting.
Red Onions, Capers, Eggs, Sour Cream, Toasted Brioche
In Lemon Garlic Butter
Baby Spinach, Lemon, Grilled Broccolini, Crispy Capers, Ciabatta Croutons, Shaved Parmesan Reggiano
Would have been a 5 but seated down wind from a smoker. Was on patio so I guess restaurant can't stop the smoking if it's outside.
Absolutely incredible brunch! We started with some delicious cocktails, followed by the escargot (get extra bread for dipping!) and the soup de jour. Our entree's were even more incredible. The beef tartar was every bit of perfection with the yolk! I had the croque madame and it was what dreams are made of! My mouth is still watering. The service, ambiance, food, cocktails and price were all perfect. 5 stars!
Pistache never disappoints... ! ~ Not even during a pandemic !!! ~ Loving the extra space ~
Loved every moment of it! Excellent service, amazing food!!!
Our first dining experience post pandemic was splendid. Fabulous and professional service, beautiful outdoor set up, and spectacular food per usual. It felt like an elegant outdoor cafe. Personally enjoy the spread out-ness of tables - keeps noise level comfortable. Looking forward to days when we can see our servers face but I could see the smile in his eyes.
Always a favorite! Delicious and very professional wait staff.
The butcher table was outstanding. Very nice ambiance and nice attention, the only thing was the dessert, quite general and barely OK, (Profiteroles), lack of knowledge about coffee.
A perfect re-entry to dining out, safe, beautiful, delicious and pampering! I will return.
Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and outstanding service.
Nice place, professional servers, authentic French food, very good drinks. Everything was perfect!
Nice place. Well located in Downtown West Palm Beach across from the park and a block away from the water. Cool place for a drink and an appetizer.
Great service and food , social distancing great job!!!!
Fabulous food and service as always!
As always a great meal, good food and professional service, well trained staff with regards to social distancing and safety. Most enjoyable French restaurant on town.
Pistache was as good as ever. Physical distancing, masks, and cleanliness were all well observed. We felt safe dining out there, and will return.
Very excited to support one of our favorite restaurants after reopening! Full menu food wonderful and nice to feel like things were getting back to normal...
We were so happy our first dining out experience after quarantine was with Pistache. AMAZING food and the staff is great.
It was good to see the provisions they made for Social Distancing.
They had their normal French bistro menu.
The staff was on top of things.
My Girl's Salmon Dish was just OK and ordinary.
However, my Mussels and Fries were unbelievably Outstanding.
The Mussels my Grandson and I had in Paris just didn't compare.
I would order them again and again.
Sophie was a delightful and excellent server.
We were seated right away and had a wonder dinner. Their French bread is a real highlight here!
This continues to be one of my favorites. The bread is the best, the service is always good and the food is wonderful. The prices have ticked up a bit since I started coming here several years ago so I can’t call it a bargain anymore - just a great restaurant.
The sea bass I had was cooked to perfection and my dates salmon was excellent too!
This neighborhood gem was a block away from our hotel. They offered outdoor dining which was lovely. The menu is nice—a good French bistro.
We had a nice salad each. My daughter had a truffle pasta dish. I had steak frites. Delicious.
Very attentive service from our waiter.
Great early dinner. I got to have my Croche Monsieur. So good. Super waiter.
Everything was amazing from the food to the service! We really wanted the foie gras but were disappointed it wasn’t on the menu currently.
Excellent food and ambiance with superior service. The wine list provided excellent choices by the glass as well as the bottle.
Our favoritr place for a light meal. Great ambience, food and service. Can still smell the rich scent of escargot coming from the kitchen!
The steak tartare was different than many others I have had in that the added ingredients overwhelmed the beef. My wife preferred this preparation while I like more subtle flavors. But I still enjoyed. The peppers stuffed with braised oxtail was interesting and very good. I wish the coq au vin was braised longer so the meat would be moist and fall off the bone.Instead the legs were dry and chewy. For the first time in many years I sent it back. The manager who was very professional told me this is the way the chef prepares it and a remake would not be much different. I stubbornly wanted coq au vin and asked to try again instead of ordering another dish. The remake was still pretty dry but the sauce was tasty. I have had much better coq au vin. The duck breast was perfectly medium rare with a sauce we just loved. The service was friendly even though it was a busy Ssturday night. And the restaurant is pretty as nd warm. The restroom was large and well equipped..very clean.I just had my heart set on the coq au vin and was disappointed. Still I will return and order domething else
Great experience my only negative comment would be, we had a delicious bottle of wine, but the waitress never poured it into our class the whole night..a bit of a bummer..
One of our favorite restaurants in WPB. Spanish mussels and Coq Au Vin was excellent as always.
Service was great as well.
Great food, great service. Two people in our party had one of the daily specials, a Spanish pork dish, that was melt-in-your-mouth tender, one of us had the short ribs, which was equally tender and tasty, and one of us had the lamb loin (not rack of lamb as shown on the menu, but we were told that by our server when we ordered), which was wonderful as well. The onion soup, the French bread, and the profiteroles were as good as always. Top all that off with a reasonably priced bottle of good wine, and it was about as good as it gets.
Had the perfect table! Wonderful waiter, Antoine!
I haven’t been to Pistache in a while, but i wanted to go back for a very good french meal. I did enjoyed very much. The Appetizers and main course were very good, but i was disappointed with the dessert. They have a small plates(Tapas) menu and choose their Spanish dessert. Churros with dark chocolate sauce. But the churros even that were crunchy outside, the inside was not done and it was soft. Better go for the traditional next time.
Perfect in every way. Zucchini blossoms were delicious. My duck was wonderful. Everything including service were great
We have been to Pistache several times in the past. Always a good experience. This time we enjoyed an all-new menu. And while there were several favorites missing, we loved the duck confit! Mussels as usual were excellent. And, of the cocktails are classic!
We loved everything about this Bistro, will definitely go back! The ambiance was wonderful albeit slightly noisy and difficult to hear, but who needs to talk anyway! Wine terrific, food sensational, wow
Everything is done very, very well.
We have been to this restaurant several times and always found it to be good.
Unfortunately it was a very busy Saturday night and we had to wait a very long time for our appetizer and entree.
We had guests with us from out of town so we were embarrassed by the long wait.
We booked our table for a pre-theatre dinner. We informed our server when we sat down that we were going to Dramaworks and she stated that she knew the show began at 8:00pm. What she DID NOT inform us about was that Pistache and Dramaworks have an arrangement for theatre-goers whereby they can order from a three course prix fixe dinner. We had not idea until we went to pick up our tickets after dinner and was informed about the list of restaurants who participate in this service. I told them we had not been given this option even though our waitress knew we were going to theatre and they suggested we call the manager to complain. I am writing this review instead so other's don't loose out!
Oh my gosh, we had a marvelous time, thanks to Mark...Food was yummy and can't wait to return.
